Is 50,000 rupees an appropriate salary for a PA?

I don't live in India but I spoke to.my cousin.who.lives in India according to her Pre hasn't finished her education ( she might be a graduate ) so for Personal Assistant starting with Rs 50,000 is a very good salary.

50000 is a very good starting salary considering the fact that she has not even completed her graduation.Even otherwise its a very good amount.

Yes , considering She gonna be PA to someone like Moloy Basu 50k is good for a Fresher .

It depends on how big the company is. Usually PA of a CEO gets very good salary.

My dad's friend who is a PA to CEO of a very reputed bank gets 7 Lakhs per month. Along with that he gets so many perks like foreign travels, business trips. He always travels in business class. He is working in that bank every since his graduation (BCom). So he working for maybe around 35 years.


The PA directly reports to the CEO. The salary can be more if the company is big and less for small firms.


For Prerna, the salary might look very big since she is still studying. But from Moloys point of view, he might be thinking that if he hires an experienced person he will have to pay them more than Rs 50,000. Moloy said he will give her lot of work 😆 . Moloy probably thinks it is win win situation for both since he will get a sincere employee & she will get a good job.


However I am sure Prerna will have to hear taunts from Mohini, Nivi. I am also sure that very soon either she will get fired or leave the job herself.
