The actress playing Mohini is doing an excellent job and really has one of the nicest smiles in the business.

The relationship shown between her and Moloy is very funny though i have to say it does not portray Moloy in the best of lights.

Her love for Anurag and the scenes between them are being lauded as super amazing and sweet. And a lot of fuss is being made about this in social media.

BUT

Let us all never forget that all of his started with Mohini. She a mother of 3 kids, two of whom are daughters, blackmailed a 20/21 year old girl into marrying a man twice her age.

If this was not Indian TV there would Berle soul searching into why she doesn't love her daughters the same as her son and why she did this to prerna.

Yes people are not black and white, rather just various shades of grey. But there is just no excuse for this and NO JUSTIFICATION. I don't care how many cute scenes they put between Anurag and his mom, she is not a good person.

Totally agree with you. All this started because of her. And one of the major reason why prerna is not telling anurag the reason behind her marriage is Mohini. She knows that if she tells him the best that would happen will be him not believing her, and the worst would be him snapping at her. Prerna knows that there is no chance in hell that he'll believe her.

And as you said, there in no black and white. But blackmailing someone is not a light shade of gray, that's for sure. No matter how many cute scenes comes her way or how gracefully she behaves, she is a not a good person.

And a person more dangerous than a bad person is a person who pretends to be good. And Mohini is damn good at pretending.

One thing not many people talk about when they bash Prerna and the writers don't focus in is what happens if Prerna tells Anurag what his mom has done. Is she supposed to ask him to that her? Especially when he won't even let her joke about his mom in the bathroom? This is an Indian serial so someone like Mohini will not be revealed for months or even years even if it is at the price of the Female lead.

Even I couldn't come to enjoy Mohini-Anurag scenes much because of many reasons..

1. Anurag thinks that his mom is the sweetest person. He knows how she treats Rajesh and family.. He also says to Veena that as much as she has her issues with Basu family, she accepts him for the person he is. This way he is shown to be knowing how his mom is. I am ok for him to accept and love her as is with her own flaws because she is his mom and she has her own attachment and sentiments but he claiming her to be the sweetest person who will be doing the best for anyone and everyone isn't something that sits well with me...

2. Mohini scolds Prerna like she's her own and it's her responsibility to correct her when she's wrong.. Especially when it comes to her son and her influence on him.. Like the jail scene and also about Ronita when Prerna takes the blame, saving Anurag.. She even scolded Veena for supporting her daughter.. All Anu could do is watch her silently letting her do it all. I have no issues with that too. He could take a stand against Mohini when needed and I appreciate that but him being ignorant of the fact that she could go to any extent to protect her personal values and status isn't something going easy on me...

3. Last but not the least.. Her unhidden support to Navvu's desire in getting him married to Prerna.. He hasn't even thought about what's in it all for Mohini? Is it only that he extreme love and affection for her muh bhola bhai? Or anything beyond that?!

As much as Anu seems to be taking it all in the flow I really hope he has been observing it all and will take a stand for the right thing as he's portrayed to be righteous in calling out on Prerna's acts.. Like he keeps calling out Prerna on her stupidity hope he calls out on his mom's partiality..

Knowing and accepting someone as they are is ok but being blind to what they are isn't good...
