Though it's toned down a bit but the traits are still in tact.. And it's not gonna take much time for her to get into high the moment things turn different than what she wants.. Let's see how her drama unfolds.. A lot depends on that and how she takes it when people or things are not in her favor.. 😉

And I personally couldn't enjoy any of Anurag-Mohini scenes for it gives all negative vibes for me but they get nullified with the positive vibes from Anu-Pre.. 😳

That's why I am counting on them to have more depth formed in their relationship before any other drama can pop up. 😉

I definitely enjoy Anurag-Moloy scenes.. The dad-son have good vibes oozing out..

I don't think blackmailing a young girl into marriage using her parents loan and threatening to kick them out of their house is just being status conscious. It's much more vile than that.

Mohini is way too dangerous

She just bottled up and did not burst out today before Anu... didnt want to reveal anything before Anu.

The good that Anu is it will take ages for him to see her true face. If Pre is this naive forever, she cant or wont reveal anything to Anu. She will play the role of victim forever.

Very well put..

The actor playing Mohini is excellent in her craft. But coming to the character Mohini, I find this character evil and vile, in fact, viler than Navin babu.

I can still understand her pompousness and uppity. I have seen a lot of middle-aged uber rich ladies who behave as if they own the world. But the irony with such ladies is that despite, all the wealth and modernism they depict in their outlook, deep down they are extremely orthodox. Mohini fits into this bracket and her orthodox patriarchal mindset of favouring a son over the daughters keeps on unfolding time and again. This is also the reason that she sees no flaws or faults in her Navu bhai but in all his ex-wives. It will be a treat to watch how her affection changes for Onu once she feels he is no longer under her control or is slipping out of her hands, for Mohini is a big control freak.

Her blackmailing Prerana to marry Navin because of loan her family need to repay is below the belt. Even if not as a woman, she should have at least thought as a mother, if she would be okay with her younger daughter who is of the same age as Prerana marrying the guy in his sixties. But the way Mohini keeps on reminding how lucky Prerana is and what a big favour Naveen is doing by marrying her makes me want to puke on her face.

Hence Mohini is neither a good mother nor a good human being. Hats off to Shubhaavi ma'm for playing Mohini Basu to perfection.

I am in love with the actress. She is so good at her craft. Is truly gorgeous. And her kindness and laughter in every BTS video just warms the heart!

True. it is scary and the way she did not say a word before Anu is scary... she will silently erase Pre from Anu's life is what i thought.
