HINA KHAN: IT'S A DOUBLE BONANZA

While it is known that Hina Khan will be playing the vamp, Komolika, in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Ekta Kapoor has also signed her for another show, still under wraps and still untitled, in which she plays the positive lead. The actress on how she plans to juggle the two:

Do you think the audience will accept you playing a positive and negative character at the same time?
Ekta Kapoor is the queen of television with a vision like none other. If she can see me playing two diametrically different roles, why should I shy away. After Bigg Boss, I was flooded with positive roles and let go of four such big shows. But when I met Ekta, and she offered me the best of both worlds, I couldn't say no'. It's a compliment that she has confidence in me to pull off the two characters.
It's unprecedented but not impossible if you are a good performer. TV is a great teacher and since I have done quite a lot of it, I feel it won't be that difficult for me. And to my advantage, both are with the same production house. It will be a double bonanza for my fans, I promise.

Will you be shooting for both simultaneously?
I don't think that's going to happen in the near future as I have yet to start shooting for Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Once that happens, we will have a clearer picture but there's still time for that.

So, when do you start Kasautii...?
Mostly this month, I have only shot for the promo and a few other things. But I have met the team and I have to say they made me feel very comfortable.

What is the second show all about?
I can't disclose much. All I can say is that it's a very big show and we will rock it. Get ready for Komolika now and the other avatars.
