Today's episode was my favourite one to date. Actually, for the last two weeks I've been enjoying the episodes more and more. More screenspace has been given to Anurag and Prerna, and Naveen's lusty dialogues and expressions have become more controlled. Anyways, coming to today's episode, I want to say a few things.
First, that paan romance -- these two have become so comfortable with each other, that wiping food stains off the other person's lips isn't awkward at all. Prerna asked him to tie her dori yesterday, so I knew that she didn't mind him coming close to her. However, Anurag being a gentleman is unlikely to make the first move. So when Prerna wiped Anurag's mouth with her fingers first, only then he responded and wiped hers too. Prerna is bold though, so she is likely to make that move.
A lot of people say that the romance is rushed. I disagree. It's definitely not rushed. They've been spending a lot of time together in the last few days, getting to know each other, and from friends and comfort, it's building to attraction. During the rain scene, the way Prerna was looking at Anurag, you could see that she's attracted. It's natural to feel attracted, and Miss Expert on Love here will probably realize quickly that she's in love. 😆 From the precap, we could see that she's blushing and smiling. She'll figure it out soon, and it's only going to build up to deeper and deeper love from here.
The Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh song brought back memories of Season 1. In S1, that song was introduced around the time that Komolika was about to show up as well. It's hinting to me that Komolika is going to come next week -- maybe end of Monday's episode or Tuesday. Love is on the cards. The marriage will break and AP will confess, while on the other hand Mohini will be fixing Anurag's marriage with Komolika.
When they turned around and kept looking at each other, my heart was fluttering and I got emotional. They really wanted to run to each other and be together -- their hearts knew what their bodies did not. That they want each other, and their destiny is messy. They will pine for each other, but they won't be able to stay together for their lifetime. 😭
Anurag sounded confident that he'd expose Naveen during the engagement ceremony, so I'm hoping he does. This Naveen track does not need to be dragged until the wedding day. Considering that Prerna is already getting feelings for Anurag, there's no need to continue this wedding drama now.
So this is what I think: When Anurag exposes Naveen on the engagement day, Komolika will be there, watch the exposure, and be impressed by him. 😆 The engagement breaks, A and P will have more romantic scenes leading up to a love confession, while on the other hand Komolika expresses interest in marrying Anurag. Mohini will fix the rishta without asking Anurag by saying he'll listen to his mom, no matter what choices she makes. Of course, when Anurag finds out he'll be unhappy and will say no -- and then emotional blackmail drama will start.
I don't think Naveen will be out of the picture so soon though. So he might try and find some loophole to be around Mohini, but the relationship between him and Prerna should break soon. It's possible that the whole truth won't come out -- just that Naveen is already married.
I just want to say again that I loved the episode today. It was beautiful. 😳
