Every show has its type of viewers and what clicks for it and given the number of shows and channels its hard to keep a hold on them and once lost its kind of hard to bring them back. The usp for this show is AnuPre and Anu playing the hero from what i have seen.

Bag on about two line , the reason people loved Anurag and AnUPre as a couple plus Naveen was never shown as potential third angle , so it was always clear that it's AnuPre vs Naveen .

Ever since Komo entry the TRPs are down , because she was potential AnUPre breaker , and then the whole KoNu pair thingy ...

The show has lost those gained audience .

It will be difficult now to gain them back .

They may introduce some drastic changes now.People do not seem to be like confused Anurag.

Very sad that the show losing its little charm cast by Anu-Pre all this while..

Yesterday Parth got interviewed for something along with a few other TV actors. I didn't catch the interviews but saw a few clips on insta. He seemed really proud (and rightly so) about how his role has been received and the audience reaction to Kasauti. It seems like the TRP they have been getting is exactly what the expected and they are all proud and happy. I take comfort from that.

The writers took a bad turn with Prerna's reasoning during the Naveen track. They could not turn back completely but they gave her dialogues to try to explain things and finally ended the Naveen track. I hope they do the same with this bad turn. They will need to give Anurag dialogues to explain away the whole mishka fiasco and while they may not be perfect, they will at least help us put that to rest. They then need to take an effort to bring back the guy they sold him to us as.

There are a lot of things that aren't working with this show.

The AnuPre scenes are beautiful. The pace of their realization is perfect. However, Anurag being surrounded only by vamps (by vamp, I mean people currently spreading negativity in his life) is not being taken well. Mishka, Komolika, Mohini, Nivedita are always around him like vultures. One vamp, Komolika is enough. Mohini and Nivedita need to tone it down and Mishka was just plain unnecessary.

Komolika comes off as a spoiled brat rather than an actual evil vamp. Nobody wants to watch a spoiled brat. They want to watch someone like Komolika in S1. Yes she was pure evil, but her lines were so funny that you couldn't really hate her completely. Many of us had a love/hate relationship with her. Komolika this season just comes off as snobby, obnoxious, and it's like she's trying too hard. I'm not making any comments on the actor. I'm merely talking about the character.

They should stick to one-two background songs with different versions - different dialogues. Like in Season 1, and other older Ekta shows (KMH, Tere Liye, etc). Not just Ekta shows, but other makers use original background music on their characters. Music is a way to keep viewers hooked.

While I do enjoy the slow realization pace, I do understand that the TRP audience wants things to be more fast-paced. So, they should just get on with the story and not drag silly engagement tracks. We don't want to see engagement/shaadi revelations all the time.

Make Prerna and Anurag more likeable. I agree we love Anurag, but if you make him agree for an engagement and keep his mouth shut around Mishka, you're slowly making the viewers stop liking him. About Prerna, I personally like her, but I can see why some people have a hard time relating to her. Experiences will make AnuPre think a little more deeply, however, if they take two-three months per track here, it'll be years before we see more depth, and by then who knows if the show will still be around? It's more on the writing than anything else though. When they try, they can write meaningful things, but the story and overused plot gimmicks makes the audience lose interest in the characters, and for a show like this that's the last thing you want to do. You want the audience to be invested in the characters, only then will they want to keep watching.

This show has a good cast who have amazing chemistry with each other, but unfortunately the script and direction doesn't maximize the potential.

After this week's episodes, I wouldn't be surprised if the TRPs fall below 2 next week. I really hope the makers pick it up, because I'd hate for a show with this much potential to be axed too soon.
