Agree.. Let the characters be there if they're inevitable but let them be driven differently with what they do different now than what they did last time.. 😳

I felt the old kasauti was okay with Anurag, Prerna with Komolika and Bajaj angle. After that they could have ended it with Anurag and Prerna's marriage when they were still young. But as the show was getting very high trps, they kept dragging it till they made Anurag and Prerna grandparents of grown ups🥱

I was never a big fan of kasauti😆 just I am curious that how is Ekta going to sell its reboot after 17 years when people's taste have changed a lot😆

Looks like not much has changed ever since this show has set it's trend for TV.. Or so that's what I read and hear here.. 😉

So it's gotta now reset that trend to start something new because whatever was there in the original is what being churned around across other shows in different forms.. What say?😉

If the original show was the iconic representation of the TV shows that followed setting the trends for TV serials, then it's better if Ekta uses the same to redefine some of these formulas and set new trends, changing the fate of TV shows to come for new generation.. Let's see what's her idea of the reboot.. 😉

If she can bring in a big change then that would become something big on her name to follow in the TV industry.. After all, she's theee mother of all Saas-bahu and love story creations or so I heard.. 😃

BOLD--- how I wish she re-invents the KZK story. Audience taste in early 2000 was so different. Familial pressure was a BIG thing then. Today there is a lot more honesty between couples and parents are quite, quite hands-off---at least in the strata of society that is depicted in the show (not expecting honor killing type things int hat strata). Secondly there is a lot more social and economic upward mobility and at least the youth is not obsessed about it. Even audience taste is more liberal and no-one, not even the target audience of KZK, relishes rona-dhona, 3-4 shaadi etc. Plus the Ekta post Alt-Balaji should be more progressive.

It will be real sad if we have to watch home-breaking vamps and star-crossed couples in today's age.

wonderful analysis , i feel love strengthens and shines thru pain !
prerna dancing around Anu in the pandal was so beautifully done , loved how mamaji's evil intentions during sindhoor khel with prerna was ruined , even at home, i was glad to see Moloy leaving for abroad before mohini talked to him about that maama..., hope Mohini doesn't open her cards, now that Prerna;'s dad might end up in hospital and need money

best part of the episode was prerna dropping Anu and the comfort in their conversations is so endearing, Anu n prerna have different views and approach to love and life in general, yet there is something very common which brings them closer and something that connects them with each other.

Moloy is such a warm and fun character, and his lines are 😆... we are happily married ,.I am married you are happy 😆😆😆

Have they shown or mentioned what business are the Basu's into ??

@bold: Yeah that was a wise touch to emphasize on evil not winning and keeping the faith of good finding it's way.. 👍🏼

Liked it how Moloy supported his friend and Anurag supporting him in turn in favor of Rajesh.. 🤗

Mohini is already fuming.. Nivedita is also getting her nerves on being disciplined to address Rajesh as uncle.. Both mommy and daughter are waiting to burst...😆

Yes Moloy was too funny.. He should continue this light-hearted dialogues to keep the entertainment on..

No, I don't think they've shown anything about Basu's business.. But yeah we may get to know..

Yes in episode 2 or 3 Mohini says they ar ethe biggest publishing house of Kolkata
