Aamir's residence turns into fortress

Twenty police personnel and additional private security deployed outside Aamir Khan's house in Pali Hill Actor Aamir Khan's Pali Hill residence turned into a virtual fortress with 20 police personnel and additional private security deployed outside, yesterday. This was in the aftermath of a protest march by 25 BJP workers outside his house, following the actor's remarks in support of those displaced by the Sardar Sarovar Project on the Narmada River. Police sources said that the security cover to Khan would continue. "We have made arrangements for a bandobast outside his house and it will remain till we are told that it is not required," said an official from the Khar police station. Ronit Roy of Ace security, whose agency is providing security to Khan refused to comment. Khan said he was not affected by the protests. "Will such people who protest with violence and damage film posters bring development to the nation?" he asked. He added he was not against development. All he wanted was that those displaced by the project be rehabilitated equitably. "I have taken a clear stand. I will not quit till I am alive," he said.

He is every bit the suave businessman off screen that he plays on screen. We are speaking about Ronit Roy aka Rishabh Bajaj (Kasauti Zindagi Kay), aka Mihir Virani (Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi).

Like every newcomer without a godfather, this Oshiwara resident too had to stuggle before he got his first break. His debut film Jaan Tere Naam did good business but a spate of flops ensured that Roy was out of work soon.
He then started his security agency but on the acting front, he decided to be patient. His patience paid off when he was offered Kasauti Zindagi Kay by Balaji Telefilms.

"It feels great to be successful," he says, adding, "But one cannot take success for granted." Roy also confesses, "Unlike other countries we don't shoot according to seasons. Thus it is a challenge to hold the audiences' interest."

Hardwork according to Roy is the key to success for every newcomer. "I'm not in a position to advise any newcomer. But people should not perceive TV as a short cut to success."

Roy moved to Oshiwara in 1993 and believes this area has grown tremendously in the last decade. Besides its proximity to the studios, Ronit also says, "The attitude of the people here is great."

and yeah its gud they watch kzk with me but sometimes yaar they watch late at night and they have the sound up high and even if i close the lounge and my door i can still hear it
i need complete silence to get to sleep after im asleep a bomb blast can occur and i wont wake up
