Rs Two Crore Makeover For ‘ Kasauti…’

In order to boost T R Ps, Ekta Kapoor and Star channel have decided to spend around Rs 2 crore on complete makeover of ' Kasautii Zindagii Kay.' Its main actors Shweta Tiwari, Hiten Tejwani and Ronit Roy will also don a new look in the serial. As Ekta reveals, ' I asked Aarti Surendranath to design the new look for the show since I know that she has that kind of vision. Kasautii ….today is one of our biggest shows. So we decided to have this new look to go with the generation leap. We will also be constructing a huge new set worth Rs 1.5 crore.'

A huge amount is also expected to be spent on the new looks for the three main protagonists as the channel has agreed to spend fifty percent of the expenses on the new look. However, Hiten Tejwani, who has taken over from Cezanne Khan as Anurag, has no clue about his new looks and expected it to be decided after a meeting with Ekta Kapoor.
