S he was last seen as Natasha in Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka and is now getting noticed as Nehal in Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Jenifer Winget has recently bagged the afternoon soap being produced by Twentieth Cen- tury Fox. "I guess, I was destined for it. I met them when I had heard that they were looking for a female lead. And, things worked out for me. It's a very interesting con- cept of a sweet, bubbly girl and her subsequent trans- formation because of the trials in her life. My char- acter Ganga, as the name suggests, keeps going with the flow." Speaking about her stint in Kasautii, she says "It's been nearly two years since I'm acting in this show and the response is overwhelming. The role had ample scope for variety, from a junkie to a married and under- standing woman. Every normal girl can relate to my character. In fact, when I go out, I'm amazed to see aun- ties come out and express that they would like their daughter to be like Nehal." Jennifer started working when she was just 12 years old "My mom was working with Shogun Films. My first film was Raja Ko Rani Se Pyaar Ho Gaya, in which I played a child artiste. Later, I did ad films and I want- ed nothing else but fame. I took up acting on television only to get noticed." Saying that this is the first time out of the Balaji camp, she adds, "I'm still a Balaji girl. I never felt used or pressured with work. Ektaa (Kapoor) is very good to work with.I never had to look for outside work as I'm working with a good unit "
