At the outset, let me tell that Hiten is fine actor- no dispute on that- Having said that hiten will definately fail as " Anurag basu"-Reasons for such conclusion are many-
-Ronit succeded more as 'Bajaj" than as "Mihir" (he himself says this) for the simple reason that role of bajaj was fresh which he could gave shape as per his choice whereas Role of Mihir was earilier played by Amar Upadhyaya and so Ronit could simply carrry character without any pinch in to it as u play within boundry created by earlier charatcer -Hiten will face the same problem- Further he has to play character at such stage where it is very difficult to lift this character- Ekta's so called creative Director has already spoiled this character in recent times
-Cezzzan inspite of his differences could generate atleast few emotional scenes with prerna-remember that scene of jail where prerna refers him as her "saya" or the scene when she goes to got sneha back from Anurag -Or the scenes where Prerna convince her for mairrage with sam- or scenes at Prem's samadhi- further even their presence togather irrespective of intensity of scene was sufficient to carry the scene-Hiten in any such attempt will look artificial as unconsciously cezzan will remain as "Anurag" in mind of those who are watching this serial since last 4-5 years-
Most recent example is Shahrukh who though good actor looks so poor when he tries to imitate Amitabh In Krorepati-
The lession is never accept such stale role -howsoever it may be powerful in past- your creativity as actor will not get full scope as u play within boundry created by earlier charatcer- better accept new challenging role and let your creativity be fully blossomed-
