She has designs on you..

Aparna (or is it Opo*na) is back in Prerna's life. And that's certainly not great news for the prime time sob queen. But it is good news for actress Geetanjali Tikekar.

"Yes I am back in Kasauti Zindagi Kay," she trills, adding, "Kasautii is very close to my heart. Playing that witch-like character gives me a thrill." She says, "The story track is very intriguing, and I am enjoying it thoroughly because the focus is on me." Apart from Kasautii... the actress is also seen as the hoity toity aunt with a comic touch in Karam Apnaa Apnaa. "Both these characters are completely different from each other. Luckily, the storylines of both these serials are very gripping right now.

"Kasautii… has been around for ages now. When I entered the scene, it was well established. Karam is relatively new and fast -paced. With new twists every week, it won't drag," says Tikekar.

But right now, what has gripped her more than her negative roles is her garment business. "I have started it with my brother," she says.

Based in Pune, the clothing store is labelled Luxe. "My brother always wanted to start a garment store. Since he has studied abroad all his life, the clothes have a western influence. Our garments are designed in the European style," she says. While she looks after the administration, her brother handles the creative aspect.

She adds, "The European designs are very unique. You don't see them much in Mumbai. People here are a little filmi in their choice of clothes. We have a select set of customers, mostly from Bangalore and Goa." Acting in two daily soaps, and handling her new business — is that difficult to jug gle? "Not really, I have a laptop which makes my life easier. And Pune is not too far from Mumbai," she states.

Any expansion plans? "Setting up an outlet in Mumbai is our priority now. But Mumbai is too expensive. I will be holding a fashion show soon to showcase our collection, let's see what kind of response do we get," she ends.

I am hooked on to all the gossip"

I enjoy watching Bigg Boss. If I miss any episode, then I try to find out what happened on the show through my friends.

Initially, I watched it because I was approached to do the show. I couldn't do it but I was curious to know how about it. Now, I'm hooked on to all the gossip and bitching .

I simply love Rakhi Sawant.

She is too entertaining. She is not a put-on—if she does not know how to behave in public, she makes no qualms about it. I was praying for her and even voted for her to come back to the show, which she did. Trust me, I don't have any connection with her at all but I simply love her openness.

Also I like Ravi Kissen's style of talking. He's simply too cool and does not carry his superstar status on his sleeve.

I also like to watch Kasauti Zindagi Kay because I feel Shweta Tiwari is an absolute natural. I like the character of Mr Bajaj too played by Ronit Roy who is like a brother to me. The show is rocking and I try to follow it as much as possible.
