Part 10 - I know finally!!!
Bhanupratap Bajaj along with his wife Suhasini reach the Sharma house and Prerna is all happy and so are her parents. RIshabh doesn't come to the Sharma place and Prerna is hurt, she continues to get the feeling that may be Rishabh does not want to get married to her and may be he feels that he has to do this coz she is his friend.
P: Aayiye Uncle, aunty…

Prerna hugs Suhasini and Bhanupratap and touches their feet. They bless her.
P: Aunty, Rishabh nahin aaya?
S: Beta, usse bhukar hai, he was insisting on coming, but I said no, he said he doesn't have a fever, silly boy!
P: he is okay na aunty (Prerna is worried)
S: Yea he will be fine. It's not too high, don't worry beta ( she smiles and holds prerna's hand) apne mummy papa se milwao come on!
P: ofcourse aunty.
PD (Prerna's Dad) and PM (prerna's mom) also come to welcome them
PD: Namaste Mr. Bajaj, namaste Behen ji
Bajajs: Namaste
PM: Aap kya lenge chai coffee?
BB: aare behen ji, aap baithiye please, Bhaisaab aap bhi, coffee chai hote rehengi, but let me get straight to the point.
The Sharmas are pleased with the warmth.
BB: Mr. Sharma, hummein toh Prerna bahut pasand, and hum chahte hai ke woh humarein bete Rishabh ki patni aur humari bahu bankar humare ghar aaye.
S: Woh bhi jald se jald!
Prerna is shy.
Prerna's mom and dad are happy.
BB: Kya aapko yeh rishta manzoor hai?
SB: Humari taraf se toh bilkul haan hai
PD: Humari taraf se bhi kyun shrimati?
PM: haan, humari beti sach mein bahut khush kismet hai ke woh aapke ghar ki bahu bankar yahan se jayegi.
SB: Haan lekin bahu nahin beti bankar aayegi.
BB: Yes, ofcourse.
They all smile.
BB: Toh panditji jald se jald ka shubh mahurat nikalvaiye
PD: Haan bilkul !
Pandit: sabse shubh mahurat toh iss shukar vaar ka hai (Friday)
BB: Yeh shukarvaar
PD: aaj toh ravivaar hai, itni jaldi bhi nahin hai, kyun beti?
They all laugh. Prerna blushes
BB: Pandit ji aur koi mahurat?
Pandit: Aagle 2 mahino tak kuch nazar nahin aaraha
BB: Thik hai, agar Sharmas aur Bajaj milkar sab sambhale toh no tension. I am sure we can handle it kyun Sharma ji?
PD: Sure Mr. Bajaj. Toh done iss shukravaar ko RIshabh aur Prerna ki shaadi.
BB: Ladies are u okay with it?
Ladies smile, Prerna goes into her room and blushes, she is soo happy. She thinks of RIshabh and calls him but his phone is busy.
Prerna is sad again…she goes out.
The pandit has left.
BB: Ok so we have so much to do now, let's do one thing, let's go out to dinner, and there we will talk more about it.
SB: Shaadi ke liye sirf paanch din baaki hai.
BB: Don't worry, Sharma ji and I will handle everything.
PD: Haan aap dono ko chinnta karne ki koi baat nahin hai, aaj guest list bana denge
BB: Kal tayar ho jayenge
PD: parso bhej denge
PM: Cards bhejne se shaadi nahin hojati kyun Suhasini?
SB: haan, lagta hai humein hee sab kuch sambhal na hoga.
BB: haan who sab thik hai, filhaal mujhe aur Sharma ko bahut bhook lagi hai
PD: haan bajaj let's go!!
BB: Prerna beti come on
BB holds Prerna's hand and takes her along. PD is happy, they all go to restaurant. They are having dinner, when Prerna is restless and BB notices.
BB: Kya hua beta, tum kuch kha nahin rahi?
P: Kuch nahin uncle woh…
BB: Rishabh ne khana khaya hoga, u don't have to worry.
They all laugh.
P: Phir bhi uncle can I take him something, I will have dinner with him
BB: Sharma jaane doon?
PD: Haan beta jao, waise hum boodhon mein tum bore ho jaugi
BB: Boodhe hoge tum Sharma, I am still young.
PD: haan haan sure you are.
They all laugh, the ladies think they are incorrigible. Prerna orders something for RIshabh and leaves.
She reaches the Bajaj house. Birju kaka opens the door.
P: Namaste Birju Kaka
BK: Namaste bitiya. Kaisi ho?
P: mein thik hoon, woh Rishabh kahan hai
BK: chottein saab toh apne kamre mein hai.
P: Khaana khaya?
BK: nahin keh rahe thay unka bhook nahin aahe.
P: thik hai, aap jayiye. (Prerna thinks RIshabh and not hungry, its impossible)
Prerna goes to her room and hears music. It is not some thadam dhudum music it is old Rafi saab and Mukesh ji songs.
He is listening to Ehsaan tera hoga mujhpar from Junglee…
Prerna has always been fond of his choice of music, it defines Rishabh.
Prerna knocks on the door, Rishabh says its open.
Rishabh is on his bed reading a book, he is reading intently, and when he finally looks away from his book he finds Prerna lovingly looking at him.
R: Prernaaaaaaaa, I thought Birju kaka honge, come on have a sit.
He makes place for her on his bed. (nothing of that sort)
P: Birju Kaka, kyun honge?
R: Forget it, tum mujhe batao, how was the meeting?
P: Tumhe yeh meeting lagi?
R: Mera matlab yeh rishta fix hua, did our parents agree?
P: Nahin!
R: What the hell do u mean nahin?
P: Hua, ghussa kyun hote ho?
R: Why did u lie?
P: I just wanted to see ur reaction, by the way… tum ghusse mein bahut cute dikhte ho!
R: What? cute? Ok whatever, tum mujhe yeh batao, shaadi kabki fix huey hai?
P: This Friday!
R: this Friday matlab yeh 4 dino ke baad wala Friday.
P: Hmmmm
R: r u sure u r ready for it
P: rn't u?
R: Ofcourse I am. Phew no time to waste.
Prerna touches RIshabh's forehead to check his fever.
P: Gaya tumhara bookhar
R: hmmmmm...Rishabh Bajaj ko koi bimaari zyada der affect nahin kar sakti
Rishabh get's out of bed
R: I am hungry. Birju kaka must be sleeping by now, u tell me u had dinner?
P: Nope.
R: great so I will have to cook for the both of us!
P: Don't bother!!
R: are u gonna cook?
P: I don't know how to!
R: oh yea I forgot!!
P: shut up!!
R: I saw that coming….
Prerna goes to the kitchen, while RIshabh is on the dining table eating fruits for the time being,
R: Prerna don't worry yaar, its better not to eat than to eat something that u gonna puke later on…u hear me!!
Prerna laughs in the kitchen and ignores the comment and brings out two plates and gets out the Indian restaurant food out in some bowls and stuff, she heats it up and brings it out.
Rishabh is shocked
P: aise kya dekh rahe ho
R: this is great tumne banaya?
Prerna looks at him all mad!!
R: who am I kiddin?
Come on baitho yaar, let's eat!! This smells so good, come on Prerna
P: mujhe nahin khaana!
R: kyun?
P: Kuch nahin
R: ok
Rishabh is eating his food and Prerna watches him lovingly, in the middle of it. He makes a morsel and takes it towards Prerna's mouth to feed her.
R: I know u haven't eaten at all, don't be stubborn and eat if for the sake of the baby. I want this baby to be healthy ok!!
Prerna's heart has RIshabh written all over it.
R: come on Prerna!!
Prerna eats it and he smiles.
P: U are rude!!
R: can u blame me?
P: I got this food for u from the restaurant, I didn't eat so that I could eat it with u, but nooooooooooooooooo, u always have to make fun of me. Shaadi ke baad bhi tum mujhe aise hee taane marte raho ge for not knowing how to cook!!
R: Don't worry, I will teach you.
P: no u don't have patience at all, birju kaka or aunty will teach me, u please don't bother.
R: ok fine!!
Rishabh continues to eat and so does Prerna, they talk and laugh and have a nice time.
After dinner.
R: thanks Prerna!!
P: For what?
R: the dinner.
P: thanks rishabh
R: for what? (he gives his cute dimple smile)
P: for being there.
He holds her hand and they hug!! This is the first time Prerna feels this hug as a romantic one, she has now become Rishabh's. RIshabh still hasn't realized this is love.
R: Prerna…
P: hmmm
R: tomorrow, u and I will go shoppin!!
P: shopping?
R: ur outfits, jewelry and u have to also choose my outfits ok? I trust u on that
P: it's a date!
R: yea..its a date. I will come pick u up, our parents are gonna be busy with the preparations, the least we can do is get our things ready. Right?
P: right.
R: Friday haan…
P: yea!
R: u r happy na!!
P: yea…I couldn't be happier!! (she is tear eyed, tears of happiness)
R: prerna let's go out on a walk
P: why!
R: I had such a heavy dinner, wanna walk it off, otherwise if u continue to feed me like this then I will grow a beer belly, without drinking any beer.
P: ewwww u r right, my to be husband is so health conscious.
R: I am, no doubt. Come on!
P: yea
Rishabh gives his hand to Prerna, Prerna without any hesitance holds it, and they go for a walk. It is full moon and silent night, perfect for romance. Prerna puts her head on his shoulder and Rishabh smiles. They go for a silent walk which was filled with emotions!! It was beautiful!!
