dear readers,
There are certain things about any relationship that the interviewer cannot have Qs for,only bcoz he/she doesnt know the intricacies of the relationship.So I thought I would write a small peice on me n Ronit..
It's not that we are two brothers from a Rajshri film always saying gooey sweet things about each other. We have our differences and our fights on a regular basis and this has often lead to long stand-off but this has never affected us.Because one thing is clear, he will kill for me and vice versa.We might argue with each other but the moment someone else tries to hurt either of us, the other one is there to protect and fight till the end.Some time back, before Ronit became Rishabh Bajaj, people often used to ridicule him and tell me things like why does he do shit work wheras you have been so exclusive.Well the answer is that because I had him taking care of me, I did not need to do the shit work that he was forced to do.
Because I didnt need to worry about where my next meal was coming from,I could be choosy and he could NOT.What people see is that I have worked on my own terms in this industry but what people dont see is that I could only do that because Ronit was always there for me.It's not that he supported me financially but just the thought that are mera bada bhai hain na, mujhe kuch nahi hone dega was enough for me to be exclusive, do one show at a time and not work for money.so indirectly he is instrumental in my career graph.Today he is the biggest star on television and it's like a slap for all those a@$%holes and I am delighted...
Ofcourse he has his flaws.Ten years back he was an extravagant guy who blew up all his money on friends and partying...Now he has become such a big kanjoos that he wont even give his poor younger brother a phone!!!I guess his stint as the unemployed hero has made him Uncle Scrooge..ha ha
Finally, one last thing about the issue which everyone seems to be blowing up like a blimp--Ekta Kapoor and the Roy family.Sorry guys, we have no problems with each other.The timing has been such that things have been sticky around us recently but we are not ready to kill each other yet!!!Personally, I have known her since the time we were not what we are today.I wasnt this hot actor and she wasnt THE Ekta Kapoor...I still find it diff to react to her in any different way.. so that's the way the cookie crumbles...ab sab kuch ek hi interview mein bol doongs to agli baar ke liye kya bachega!
