On hearing the words, Ishq Hudai Rad Na Banai…sang by Josh went up and began dancing and singing. Josh joined her on stage were they did some daring moves that healed intimacy…when the line "Ishq Kara Jo…" Josh began comeing behind Mukti and holding her waist, she turned around and bent down, "Ishq Ki Jaado" he lighted her and swong her across his body in the horizontal position. When the stopped and took a bow, for a standing applause. Josh and Mukti went of stage when the announcer came back on, "That was wonderful was it not? Well this is the time when all of us, especially many of Mukti's fans have been waiting for…a chance to take home a copy her album to your own homes. Ladies and gentlemen I call upon Mr. Anurag Basu to release the Music video." Anurag walks up on stage and opens a package and releases the music video and goes of stage. "Thank you sir now I call upon Mrs. Chandini Mukargi to release the audio caste." She too comes and goes away, "Finally to release the audio c.d I would like to call Mr. Kaykay." Singer Kaykay too came and went away. "Thank you…now back to the fabulous performance of Mukti and Josh."

Mukti comes out dressed in a, This time the bring her in with a gliding movement and place her down gently. She sings and dances for, "Kalio Ka Chaman"...

Then came hit song of the day when Josh comes in on a bike and both of them perform for the song Right Hear Right Now from Bluffmaster. Then the announcer came on again, "Hay guys after so many hot songs…Mukti decided to cool you guys of by coming on one last time." Her melodious voice shook everyone out of their senses. She swung slightly at the music…and finally at the end of the song she spoke, "Ladies and gentile men thank you for coming today…hear is where I have to say. Alvida…milanga phir kabi." The curtains come on and again everyone clap.

Seen 18:

Mr. Bajaj and Prerna are driving, Prem came with them because he was too upset. The way Mukti performed was still in his eyes…the last song was a bit too much for him to handle.

Seen 19:

Karan was in the car with Mukti who chatted non-stop. "Did you see their faces? The time Josh lifted me for Nasha and when I worked on Doom…"

"You got a bit emotional but covered it very well…everyone were too blown over by you." Karan commented.

"Yes…the best part was when I actually performed for Kalio…" Mukti began Karan finished the sentence for her, "Their jaws dropped I saw! It was like who is she? I was really happy at that point."

"Really that is so sweet…" Mukti pinched his cheek affectionately. "Hay were are you going? This is not towards home."

"Yes…dinner is arranged." Karan informed her, he wanted to have her alone for sometime.

Karan takes her to a daba and Mukti looks at him, "Tum kaisa jantha tha ki this is my favourite?"

"Well I wanted to take you out on a date so what better a place than this? Something you like?" Karan asked. "Besides I take you to a fancy restaurant then all the old stuff…so this is more unique." Mukti could not help but laugh, she hugged Karan and said, "You such a sweet friend." Karan hugged her back but healed her as though he was scared to let her go…she finally broke the hug. "Hay book lad raha hai…"

"Chalo katha hai…" Karan holds her hand and drags her along with him. When they eat Mukti is laughing and so is Karan they are having a great conversation. When Karan pays the bill he says, "You are also very easy to satisfy – this was nothing."

"But the food was mmm great." Mukti told him, they began walking towards the car, the cool wind blew and Mukti started feeling sleepy and lay her self on Karan. He gently placed his arm around her and lead her to the car, he knew how tiered all that dancing had made her. When Mukti lay back in the car she instantly fell asleep Karan drove slowly so that she would not get disturbed. The way she slept clearly showed the physical pain she had…Karan saw that, with sympathy. When he pulled into Mukti's hose Sammer waited outside, he knew, Karan picked up Mukti and handed her to Sammer. "She is asleep." He told and went away.

Part three: Growth

Seen one:

The sound of the birds woke Mukti up, she was in her room changed into pyjamas. "Ma tho nahi hai…who would have changed my dress?" that was when Sammer entered her room. "Tum ut gai? Mukti you must be very tiered, stay in bed for a few more hours Mukti."

"Teek hai Dav biya, but mom kahan hai?" she asked.

"She is still in Calcutta – I changed you're clothes for you Mukti sorry I thought you may want to know. It is just that you had fallen asleep and you do need a comfortable sleep Mukti you have been dancing." He sat on the bed next to her and sat down and stroked her hair, "You did a great work yesterday Mukti…you are going to go to great heights. So much that Sharath can't even touch you're shadow Mukti." Mukti looked at him, somehow she knew this is how her baba would have wanted it to be. She shifted and lay her head on her brother lap, as he continued to pat her head again she drifted into a deep sleep.

Seen two:
Angath is working out in his room when Josh walks in, "Hay Angath."

"Hay Josh. How was the concert? I had to go for a meeting." Angath explained.

"Great – Mukti is great to work with Angath I can't thank you enough for suggesting her. She is developing a good popularity with the youngsters just for her voice and talent." Josh went on.

"You're right, she is not exactly miss skin show, that is why she is appreciated more than the other stars, she has a charisma." Angath commented watching the report given on her. "Been wondering were she was this long, she is too good." And the thought, "After all the pain she faced."

"You know I have been thinking about her lately." Said Karthik as he walked in, (he was Sammer's partner in the music company) "Why not ask her to participate in the completion?"

Angath looked thoughtful, "Think she will have time to prepare it is one two weak away and she is fairly new."

Josh teased him, "Scared of the completion she would give you?"

"As if I don't have enough songs and concerts as it is." Angath rolled his eyes. "I was worried about how she will take it that is all. I will talk to Sia about it, she is the in charge of that show." Angath made a call. "Hay darling how are you?"

"Simply great Angath, how about you?" Sia asked.

"Good very good." The camera shifts to Sia's office were she is trying to search for a file. "You remember the completion would soon start right?"

"Yes I wanted to know if Mukti is participating in it?" Angath asked, Sia found the file, looked and said, "We have to send her in invitation. If she does that would be really great. It would be a practical sell out, you in gusset appearance and Mukti actually competing, that would be a large ticket seller."

"Nice strategy, Karthik was also feeling very involved with this idea." Angath glanced at Karthik who rolled his eyes.

Seen three:

Someone comes and calls out, "Dav, Dav kahai ho tum?" the girl is played by Vidahi (from Vidahi ek aur agni pariksha) Mukti who just woke up comes down slowly. "Ji aap kaun hai?"

"Pehla ya batho ki tum kaun ho? Dav ka saath koi rishta hai kya?" clearly she is jealous.

"Ji haan bahuth kareeb rishta." Mukti answers.
"Kareeb rishta? Kareeb rishtha? Kaha hai vo bulau usa." That girl demands.

"Sorry lakin vo tho office gaya." Mukti continues amused.

"Vo office gaya. Ana do, I will take care of him." That girl yelled.

"Sure, aap yahi intizar kigia you want some coffee tea, nahi you seem very hot and boiling now, how about soft drinks." Mukti asked inocently.

"Mukti she is the girl I am going to be engaged to, I was planning to tell you but I never really got a chance. Actually she is a cosine of Sia, and she went away for a year now, to U.K for completing her education." He goes on as the three of them sit down. "Actually she is now capable of takeing over the magazine business now. You know EMA that is hers." Mukti immediately smiled, "Navya keeps talking about it…she is my good friend and great designer as well."

"I have heard about her – may be I should meet her some time." Vaishnavi said thoughtfully. Just then Mukti's mobile beeped and a remainder came on, "Oops I have a recording I will catch you latter by." Mukti runs out.

Seen four:

Mukti goes into the studio were she is expected for a video shoot. The director when he looks at her says, "Mukti you made it very good now could you please wear this dress…the situation is that of a marriage engagement party of you're friend and you are singing in it…"

The lights come on and Angath starts singing "Chand Na Kuch Kaha…Raath Na Kuch Suna…" with a mike. He dances around the 'couple' Mukti joins him "Aiya Hai Chandni…" they dance with each other, make the couple dance as well. He starts pulling Aashika beside him, soon the bejium comes and it shows Angath looking and Mukti 'intensely' when she sings "Hai kaun…" she taps him for the "Avaz kiski magar," and he comes out of the 'trance'. This is when Mukti trips and Angath holds her. "Cut." The director says. "Great shot everyone. That was wonderful…Now Mukti Angath a shot just with the two of you…I want to complete this by today it self you know." The director tells them and then calls for a five minute brake when everyone can get their make up set right. "All right, you two do that last this is the scene now when Angath holds you look into his eyes, and really look. Angath you look into hers…that is it for a few moments…now get ready for that." The camera takes a close up of Angath and Mukti on pose, Angath's face in angle, Mukti's face in Angle, Mukti's eyes and Angath's eyes…both of them get everything right. "Good shot guys how this is the difficult part. The two of you have fallen for each other but are not willing to accept it…you brake away and then you hesitate to look at each other and move away can you do that? A rehearsal?" the director asked.

Angath and Mukti go back to the step and slowly come up, Mukti moves her hands as if to say something, Angath looks away 'confused' he runs his hand through his hair, Mukti adjusts her dupatta. They give each other a half smile and move away from each other, hesitantly Angath turns around to call Mukti but is unable to and turns away again. Mukti turns around and she too turns away quietly. The director is so lost that he forgot to say cut suddenly he says, "Cut – wonderful just repeat that and this shot will be done." They do and that shot is completed. Sia who comes to check on what is happening watch the two of them and is very impressed. Both Angath and Mukti take a deep breath, the whole unit was holing a pin drop silence start clapping for them, they blush. "All right people back on in two days for the next part of the song."

Seen five:

Back at Mukti's house Dav is with Vishnavi when Mukti walks in, both of them are sitting with Dav's arm around Vishu shoulder and hers around his waist. "Hay guys…coffee?" Mukti came in and asked they did not bother to sit properly it was just Mukti.

"No thanks Mukti sit down." Dav tells her she does, "How was you're shot?"

"Good we completed like 50% of one song…half a day's hard work other is tomorrow." Mukti told him, "I have time for some lunch and then I have to Navya's for a photo shoot…this is like to much at times."

"Go for a walk it would do you good." Dav suggested.

"I won't be between you two by see you in the evening." Mukti goes away to the park.

Seen six:

Prem is loitering around in a park…Mukti comes to the same place. Mukti and Prem look at each other, somehow time fizzes there. Eyes meet across worlds and fuse them just for that moment. Prem begged her to come back she did not hear a word of it…just like that night in the party. Snaha placed her hand in his…she somehow understood. Inwardly he was begging her not to take the hand of, he wanted her to smile, to approve of him pulling her close to his body. They stood there like time had ended…

Mukti just walks away and Prem kept looking on at the empty space. Somehow he wished things were different, but he knew the would never be.

Seen seven:

Mukti walks into Navya's office were she was supposed to shoot in a few dresses…she was now familiar with all this in her two months as a pop star. "Hay Navya is Deepak ready?" she asked.

"He called in sick that is why I called up Kailash over, he is pretty good thought it is only his hobby." She explained, when a man walked in holding a camera, he had a quick smile a very homely face, and blue eyes caught her attention.

"Hi Mukti first time I am meeting you in person but I heard a lot about you and you're work." He put his hands out and she shook it.
His warm smile is liked by Mukti. Soon Mukti found her self posing in jeans holding a teddy bare, kissing it and even leaning on it, (It was two times her size) soon he convinced her into some 'bold' moves and set the whole thing carefully in evening wears and party wears. Even in some lehengas, saris and tracks as well. Time flew and Mukti forgot about her confrontation with Prem. Soon she was doing the last bit on chudidars when Karan walked in,

None of the three noticed him but he watched Mukti as she gave various poses. Finally Kailash called in completion, Mukti collapsed, "Tiered." Navya enquired handing her a can of Fanta. "Totally."

"Too bad that would mean we would have to stop for some coffee." Karan commented, the three of them turned around. Mukti smiled at him still lying down, Karan walked up to her when Navya offered to get him and Kailash a drink and left from there. She returned with two cokes and a Mirinda for her self. "Good work Mukti I was watching the last part." Mukti ignored the comment and lay her self on her shoulder closing eyes sick of the flashes.

Navya saw how tiered Mukti was and let her catch up with her energy. She knew how busy she was two recordings a day at times, with her album video and shootings apart from the one she was directing at the moment. At times she had to work all night on her paper work – being a fried she knew. Not to mention all the party's she was attending for 'social' reasons. "Where does she get the energy?" she wondered. Little did she know Mukti was soon going to get some 'well deserved rest' very soon.

Part five: Trial on Life

Seen one:

Next day morning Mukti was going for her early morning jogging and stopped as usual in the coffee shop. Kasak and Snaha happened to come there when they noticed Mukti (this was the time she was not surrounded with fans) Kasak walked up to Mukti dragging poor Snaha. "Mind if we join you?" she asked.

Mukti looked up from her newspaper, "You two – sure as long as I am not pestered with nonsense." She smiled and this was a good point.

"We won't." Kasak promised taking a seat and noticed Mukti had ordered the strongest coffee in the house. "You need that to take you all day?"

"I need two of that to take me on a normal day Kasak don't ask how it is on a hectic day." She took a sip and breathed in the wonderful aroma. "So what's up with you guy's?" she asked.

"Well Snaha is desperately trying to knock some responsibility into me." Kasak went on, "She wants me to join the office but I just came back from all that work so…"

"You came back two months ago, that is a long vacation enough." Snaha commented.

"All right I will join soon, but after I get some formal clothes." Kasak started, the word clothes remained Mukti that she was expected to go shopping with Anthara today. She had to get home soon and change considering it was Anthara, she would kill her.

"I have to go – by." She muttered taking her half eaten sandwich and ran out. Just as she opened the glass door a passer black biker took out a gun and shot her on the shoulder, lightly but it still hurt. Snaha and Kasak ran to her, Snaha with her old relationship pulled her 'friend' towards the car and drove her to the nearest hospital.

Everyone is waiting for the doctor to come out Sakshi, Sammer, Karan, Prem, Kasak and Vishnavi. Snaha had gone home because her dress was drenched with Mukti's blood. Kasak was telling Karan what happened, "This looks serious, I better talk to Mukti about this…"

The doctor came out, "Sammer she is out of danger, the wound was light and not much blood came out. She is unconscious, looks like she has faced a lot of stress give her a brake, that is what made her faint."

"Thank you doctor. Can I see my sister now?" Sammer asked.

"Yes Mr. Kappor you can." The doctor said and went away.

Seen three:

Mukti finally gained conscious Sakshi was crying and Mukti looked at her, "Mama…relax I am fine. Suddenly realizing something asked the doctor, "This won't come in the way of my performance or leave a scar would it doctor?"

Karan who was there laughed, "Deko, she had someone attempt on her life but she is more interested in scars and performance." The doctor too smiles, "No Ms. Kapoor it won't the scar would go away in a weeks time."

Snaha just walked in, Mukti gave her a look and said, "Mrs. Guptha thanks for helping me."

"No problem, you alright now?" Snaha enquired she got used to the Mrs. Guptha now, laying down the flowers she brought turned to Sakshi, "Namastha."

"Hello beta thank you again." She replied.

"I have to leave take care." Snaha left immediately with Kasak, Sharath stood outside waiting for her.

"How is she?" he asked as they walked out.

"Fine…but still I am worried about her Sharath." Snaha replied.

Seen four: (two days leap)

Mukti was better but still in the hospital Kumkum and Antara were with her, "Aunty please no juice that is the only thing I seem to have now a days." Mukti cribbed.

"This is not juice you're badi dadi made you're favourite neembu pani with dockla for you to eat latter." Kukkum explained.

"Good I am sick of all that juice -" she stopped speaking for a moment. "Aap?"
Kumkum and Antara looked, Antara went, "Papa aap dono?"

"What happened Mukti Vishnavi told me you were shot as soon as we came back?" Akash went out right.

"Uncle relax – I am fine and will be out in two days." Mukti told him, "Babi scared you for nothing."

Summit looked at her, "Beta this is serious."

"I know still I am fine…I have faced worse." She said looking away remembering what Prerna and family did to her. Kumkum touched her hand and patted it.

"Take care, you need to sleep. Come let us go." She pulled Summit and Akash away Antara hanged around and made Mukti lie down and then she too left. Mukti sleep like a baby. After everyone left someone came in and took the hair out of Mukti's eyes slowly took her hand in pressed it to his lips and went away. At the door she calls him back, "Shravan kaha jaraha ho apni behen sa bina mila?"

Turning around he smiled, "Feeling better?" he asked sitting down.

"I am made to take rest for two more days after that everything will be back to normal. Have you fond out who it was?" she asked.

"No Mukti not as yet." Shravan answered, she nodded in acknowledgement.

Seen four:

Karan was with Sakshi and Sammer and told them all about how Sharath was not responsible for Jevan's death. Both of them looked worried, "Let us not tell her as yet…leave her for her work that is the best for her." Sakshi instructed. "She is coming back day after I want her to have a come home youngsters party Sammer…it should get her mind of things."

Shravan who walked in said, "Out of question she has other plans." It went mute, Sakshi rolled her eyes, "This girl can't stay in one place."

Seen five:

Prem goes to see Mukti with a large bouquet of flowers (like the one he took for proposing to her) when he entered she was watching T.V. "Hi Mukti." She gave him a cold stare, "How do you feel now? Does you're shoulder hurt?"

"I am all right sit down." He sat down next to her and nervously said, "These are for you." He handed her the flowers and she took them quietly. "I – I really hope you get well soon."

"Two days…" she said. Neither of them looked at each other, just then Karan came in.

"Mukti ya kya you have booked you're self and Sia tickets for a holiday after you get discharged?" Karan demanded.

"I wanted a holiday besides it is only for a week. I will be fine…" she added. Somehow Prem understood their need for privacy and left the room. "Don't worry Angath and Josh are also coming."

"Why do I bother arguing with you?" he asked.
