In the UK we've just seen Aparna kill Anurag, is he really dead or will he pop up again in the serial a few months later (which is what normally happens)?
I'd be greatful if somebody could fill me in.

Yes, debu saves anu's life and poor debu dies in the process.
Before dying debu requests anurag to look after his son shravan. In return of debu's huge favour, anurag looks after debu's son shravan.
