What I meant is mothers have a very important role in a child's upbringing, but so do a lot of other factors, school, teacher, friends, media, father, siblings...
If a child (not in UD's case, he's an adult, atleast if we go by logical dating in Ekta's serial), age of 8 suppose, does not entirely know what is right and wrong (according to law), then (i got interrupted it was one of those annoying telemarketers, i was gonna pretend to be a message machine), i lost my train of thought, but where was i, oh yes, if a mother and father are in the household, both of them are equally responsible, if the mother is a single parent, then she is to a certain degre yes, but if she's working, and her son does something bad, its her fault AND Society's fault.
Whenever, something bad happens in the world, each of us play a role, its wishful and dangerous thinking to think we are not, when we hear that there is a serial killer on the loose, or look at Hitler, and Stalin, we (not us, we weren't born during that time, but we as in society), play a role in it...i don't feel like writing a paper on this write now, but i hope that helps in clarification.
