The writer of Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Rekkha Modi has expressed shock at the winners announced at the recently held television awards.

"There is definitely something wrong this year, especially in the choice of actors that have been awarded," says Modi.

Expressing her displeasure at the choice of the jury this year, she says, "Most of the big categories were major shockers. How can someone like Hiten Tejwani win the best actor in the popular category, when it actually should have gone to Ronit Roy as Mihir? Also, if you are considering him as a lead actor, then Gauri should also be in the same category and not in the supporting. This is totally ridiculous."

absolutely...it does not make any sense..they just gave to those whom they did not give last year...then why make such a hue n cry abt voting...i m never going to vote...even prerna did not get an award...star parivaar awards are better..at least we know that we are the pple whose vote count
