Of course, women go through mental and physical torture.

For girls the mental torture is begins with the parents and then extends to hubby and in-laws, even now in the world, even in the developed and under-developed world metal and physical torture happens.

cause they can't go out drinking and womanizing that's why or they don't have the money to do it cause now they have to support a wife. A lot of Indian men still rule the homes. It's going to take a long time to change that.

Another issue i have here with the NRIs i s that they are ok if a boy is born, but if gals are born they are extra extra careful about keeping tabs on them ? i wonder why ?

Cause they don't like to think a girls been with another man while they can go and do it with any women with out even giving a thought to STDs. They think if a girl is virgin she is pure(or she is a good girl)

Cause they r old fashioned. The f...in people dont get it that it another time n 2 change who they r now. U know wat if my brother cousins do somethin like that n dont get in trouble then my family besides my parents r not tellin me anythin if I m scr**ed.

Because they are still in the old frame of mind...they are still existing in the time they left 20, 30, 50 years back. While in India people have moved on with times.
