I am glad that four years went by quickly. 😆

So bani is 23 and Jai 26, but i am glad that Jai has changed for the best, and he is going to work and his party habit changed.

Pia screwed up badly, i didn't expect she will end up with Mohan, but glad she ran away.

Part 6

Jai was told to go pick Bani up. He was so mad, he had better things to do than go pick Bani up. God what was he suppose to say to her, she was already so shy and on top of that, he already hated her sister, how was he suppose to be nice to her. Why couldn't Sahil go pick her up. Damn he was mad. Everyone had something to do well he wasn't just some low life who had nothing better to do, he had a business to run. Jai gets to the airport and is just praying that the flight is not late. He had a meeting to attend.

Annoucement: Flight 5134 from Toronto to Mumbai has just landed.

Jai starts looking around but suddenly he bumps into someone. To make sure the other persona does not fall down he grabs on to the person's waist and slowly he opens his eyes to be lost. He is looking into the prettiest eyes his ever seen. Slowly Jai gets out of his eye staring and helps the young women up on her feet. He cannot believe it. She is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Jai totally forgets about Bani and is lost staring at how gorgeous this woman is. Suddenly he is snapped back to reality by this angel he is staring at.

Bani: Excuse me..ummmm. Jai right?

Jai: umm...wah...hmm..i'm sorry what did you say?

Bani: Hi i'm Bani...i think your here to pick me up...right?

Jai: Bani Dixit? (thinking in his mind) wow your gorgeous..didn't know the ugly duckling could become a swan so quickly. (back to speaking loudly) wow you look different

Bani: Thanks...So let's go i'm dying to see everyone... oh ya i totally forgot to congratulate you on your wedding..can't wait to see Pia di

Jai: (goes quiet) ...ummm..didn't you hear

Bani: hear what

Jai: it's a long story

Bani: i need to know!!!!!

Jai: how about we go for coffee and i'll tell you everything.

Bani: no just tell me now

Jai: calm down and come with me .... i'll tell you everything

Jai grabs Bani's hand and takes her to a coffee shop in the airport. They both sit down and order. Than Jai tells Bani about everything except about how they both are going to get married because he doesn't know that either. Bani starts sobbing.

Jai: Bani don't cry...what's wrong

Jai is holding her hand and trying to make her feel better.

Bani: i should have been here mum and papa went through so much and i wasn't here oh i hate myself. I should have been here for them. What is wrong with Pia, didn't she even think about teh family and why wasn't i informed.

Jai: it is ok Bani...what ever happened ...it's done you can't change it

Jai goes quiet after saying this and Bani feels really bad.

Bani: I'm sorry ...

Jai: don't be, it's not your fault

Bani: Jai.... i want to go see everyone..please lets go

Jai: ya let's go

Jai and Bani head her house where she finds out about how sick her mother is. The Walia's are also at the Dixit's. Everyone is sitting down and talking about things. Everyone noticed how changed Bani is. She isn't the shy girl anymore. Her shalwar kameez days are over, now she's dressed western that is stylish but not sluty. Everyone was amazed at how changed Bani was.

Krishna noticed the secret glances that Jai kept on giving Bani and she decided that the proposal was the right decision. All the adults decided that they should get the wedding done with as quick as possible so Pia would be a forgotten case. The parents decided that they should talk to Jai and Bani tonight itself.

Bani was emotionally in a turmoil. She was happy mad, excited, angry at the same time. In one day, she experienced everything. She was just praying no more shocks but God had something else planned. All the youngsters were sitting and after a long time were just sitting and having a good time when the butler called them for dinner.

Everyone was sitting for dinnerand were just randomly talking when Nishikant looked at Uday and they exchanged a look. Bani noticed but ignored thinking it was nothing when suddenly after dinner Jai and Bani were called to Nishikant's study.

Bani and Jai looked at each other and walked in. Bani and Jai knew something was up but what?

As bani and Jai come in, Nishikant shuts the door. Sahil, Ranveer and Rano hide outside the door to hear what was being said inside.

Nishikant looks at uday and signals him to begin.

Uday: Jai beta... we have decided that you are to get married

Jai: What!!
Uday: beta i know what happened but if Pia can move on in life so can you....Please just listen to us...

Nishikant: Beta i know my daughter Pia hurt you alott but please move on and forget her...she doesn't deserve to be thought about and she does not deserve your love...

Jai: i know uncle and believe me but i just don't want to get married

Uday: jai please tumhe meri kasam.. you will do as i say.... if you want to see me alive

Jai: dad don't say that you know i love you alot and i'll do anything for you... fine i agree

Nishikant: Thank You so much Jai beta Bani beta i know you're probably thinking why you are here well there is a reson... bani beta is there anyone you like..i know i shouldn't even ask because you would tell me before but just in case.. do you?

Bani: ....ummm...no( thinking: i wish i could tell you dad how much i love Jai)

Uday: beta we were wondering if we arranged your marriage

Bani: Papa, uncle i don't want to get married now..please i want to practice law...i just got my degree

Nishikant: beta please agree to this marriage....it has to do with your family's honour..please i'm old..i'll die ..please ..

Bani: ..............who's the guy

Nishikant: Jai beta

Bani & Jai: WHAT!!!!!!!

Uday & Nishikant: please agree for the family honour and this way our years of friendship can e turned into a relationship.

Bani: (quietly) what every you decide Papa....i won't go against it

Bani leaves the room and runs to her room. She cries not because she is upset but because she knows she is marrying a man who does not love her but her sister

Meanwhile Jai argues but in the end he agrees to the wedding. But he puts a condition, it is that he wants to talk to sahil before he agrees. Sahil is called into the study and everyone else leaves.

Sahil: Bhai why'd you call me

Jai: I bet you know they want me to marry Bani but i know you like her ... if you do i won't marry her and i'll explain it to everyone

Sahil: bhai where did you get that idea...Bani is just m best friend .... i never thought about her in any other way
Jai: but i thought

Sahil: well you were wrong

Jai: Your ban's best friend does she like any one else

Sahil: no bhai

Jai: you ca go now

Sahil is leaving but before that he tell Jai that he should agree to the marriage because bani is an amazing girl.

As Sahil leaves, Jai thinks about everything and after awhile calls everyone.

Jia: i've made my decision...I agree to this alliance only if Bani agrees..........

Wow...Bani comes home and is going to get married to her dream man.

Part 7
Since Jai had told everyone his decision, everyone was like on cloud nine. They started the preparations for the wedding and called the priest to get the date finalized. They wanted a date for as soon as possible. The date was finalized for a week after. Everything became crazy. No one had time to talk.

Days were spent in shopping for the outfits and jewellery. Everything had to be perfect after all it was Nishikant's angels wedding. They had a quick engagement in which only family was involved. Nothing big because this wedding wasn't an ordinary wedding. Bani was so sad because as days got closer to her wedding, reality struck her that she was being married to the guy she loved but he did not even know she existed until his parents had forced him. This marriage wasn't a planned wedding but a forced wedding. Oh how she wanted to run away from everything but she couldn't because deep down she had this hope that maybe just maybe things would be alright. Bani hated herself for hoping because she should know; jai would never ever love her. Yes she wasn't as ugly as before but she still wasn't anything compared to Pia.

Jai on the other hand was shocked. He couldn't sleep throughout the night. He couldn't believe it. Was he dreaming or was everything really happening. In a week's time, he would be married to Bani, the girl he thought was not beautiful but today at the airport she looked so different. He still couldn't forget how she looked. She was medium height 5 3" maybe. She was perfectly built, curvy in the right places. She had dark brown hair shoulder length, layered with streaks of maroon colour. The hair were so beautiful that he wanted to put his hand through them... oh hell what was he thinking. He needed to stop thinking like that. Bani was an amazing person but he still had doubts but somewhere deep down, there was hope that everything would work out in between them. Jai fell asleep thinking about Bani especially her eyes that had so much depth, they were so deep.

Finally, it was the day of the Mehndi, everyone was running around doing last minute things. It was a joint party, boys and girls. Jai was sitting right across from where Bani would be seated. Some unknown force kept on making Jai look towards the stairs from where Bani would come down, and for some reason Jai was getting restless but he couldn't explain why...

Suddenly the lights were dimmed and one spotlight was put at the top of the staircase where Bani was standing wearing this: only her hair were lightly curled and the dress was light green ( dress chosen by Piku...Thank You)




Jai could not stop staring at her she looked .......
God he did not even have words to describe how beautiful she looked. He just kept staring at her util he felt someone nudge. He turned to see Sahil grinning.

Sahil: Bani looks amazing right bhai and he winks at Jai

Jai kept staring at Bani throughout the whole party even when he was told to come up and dance, he just wouldn't budge from his position. He noticed a few people whispering in the mehndi girl's ear and she wrote something on Bani's hand. Later he discovered that it was his name. When he was called up to go find his name, for some unknown reason, he was excited as if a kid was just given his favourite toy.
He slowly got up and walked towards Bani, he noticed for some reason she was shaking, was she scared him. He stopped and then it hit him, he couldn't just act normal, poor girl didn't even like him, she was being forced to marry him. God he should not put her in such weird situations. He faked a phone call and left. What he didn't notice was the blush that had occurred in Bani's cheek when she saw jai walking towards but it disappeared as soon as she saw him walk away. What happened? She wanted to run and hide her face never to show it again. Soon the night came to an end and bani was allowed to go upstairs. Tomorrow was going to be a long day, she would be getting married to the man she loved but who would never love her back. Bani walked out into her balcony looking at the moon. Slowly tears started flowing out because she cried for a man who would be hers by name but never emotionally or physically or by heart. She went to bed thinking about how special a girl's wedding is suppose to be but for Bani oh what was she suppose to do. Finally she decides if she married than she would do fulfill every duty as a wife. She fell asleep thinking that.

Jai on the other hand could not get over how amazing Bani looked but then that reminded him of the hurt. He was marrying a woman who was being forced to marry him. Jai thought for so long through the night and finally came to the conclusion that Bani would be given all the space and he would not force anything on her. He fell asleep imagining Bani.
