Well that was the past this was a present, ine present who thought she could be an mother of three handsome boys who were loveable but mischievous, and now she was going to be mother for the fourth time as she looked at her swollen belly, and placed an firm hand on it.
The walls of the hospital were decorated in pastel green, and with white and black marble tiles that reminded her of checker board, while the painting decorated the walls to make the patients feel comfortable and more at ease forgetting about their appointments.
She felt nervous, like Atharva felt at his first day in his kindergarten class without his parents, she mentally imagined biting her nails, as she gave the receptionist in the maroon scrubs her information, who looked like an matron.
"Follow the yellow arrows, and turn your left there will be an waiting room at your right side, the nurse will be with you shortly. " Nodding her head, Bani followed the instructions where she found another desk.
"Have an seat Mrs. Walia the Nurse will call you shortly." She smiled back an looked at the waiting area where pregnant ladies were waiting.
Turning back, "excuse me my husband told me he is going to come and accompany me to the amniocentesis test, he is tall 6ft 2th with an athletic body."
The receptionist gave an sympathy look. "I will send him in hon." Bani frowned; she knew in her heart that her husband won't disappoint her.

"Mrs. Bani Walia," an plum lady in her late 50s called her, who was wearing an lavender scrubs. Bani slowly got up from her chair.
"Good afternoon Mrs. Walia" she smiled at her which made her ease a little bit, "My name is Usha, and I will be your nurse for today"
"Hello" Bani mumbled as she entered the door.
"How is the mommy to be feeling?"
"Nervous, and want to get out of here." She said truthfully.
"Well all the ladies are nervous." Usha touched her arms gently and lead her to hallway into an small dark room and she handed her an floral design gown. "Put this on Mrs. Walia, I will be back with you in few minutes."
She called out, "excuse me my husband told me he is going to come and accompany me to the amniocentesis test, and I am waiting for him.
The nurse gave an smile. "I will send him in hon." After that Usha had disappeared an she was alone in the cold room, with no one just her and her baby, and the eerie silence that creped her out, an cold shiver ran down her spine, while she removed her clothing and put the gown on. "Maybe he won't show up," an disappointed voice inside her head said.
Her eyes watched as the door opened, and waited for Usha to enter," look what I found in the waiting area arguing with the receptionist" an smile formed on lips, when she saw the person standing next to Usha, was her handsome hunk her husband Jai Walia, dressed in an business suit.
"Hi sweetheart" In few strides he was next to his wife's side, and placed an gentle an assuring kiss on her forehead. "Sorry I am late, the order was taking long" Bani gave an look what order. "I will explain later."
Usha put on her surgical gloves, and exposed Bani's abdomen, put an gel on her belly, Bani shivered at the contact with the cold gel. Jai had gently held touched her hand.
As she moved the little wand, Bani saw that something was forming on the monitor. It was an foggy image at first, then it cleared as she saw the life growing inside her, hers and Jai's baby, their baby, which was small like an raisin. She saw an expression on her husbands face as he looked at the monitor.
"Bani, this is going to be the scariest and hardest part for you." Much to her horror, Bani saw the largest needle in Usha's hand, if she wasn't lying down she would have fainted. Jai looking at the reaction of his wife gently squeezed her head, assuring her everything will be fine. "I am here with you Bani, look at me not the needle" He tried to distract her.
After the test was done, Usha had left them for some privacy, as her patient needed to change. Bani sighed as she looked at her dress, she didn't feel like getting dressed, it looked like an chore.
Jai assisted Bani to get off the table, to her awe and shock he picked up the dress and gently put it on her, as he slowly put the zipper on the back. Tears were forming in her eyes, with the gesture that her husband was showing, she could have just cried.

Bani and Jai went to the parking lot, she saw one of the drivers waiting for them. "Bani where is your car." Jai asked in an stern voice while looking at his wife. Without arguing she gave the directions, Jai told the driver to go in that car.
"Jai why is the driver taking my car?" A curious Bani asked.
"Home"
"Why?"
"Because we are going some where to relax just the two of us."
"Jai what about the kids, and the Kafe. "
"Bani we will pick up the kids together, and Kalmesh son is going to help her out. Everything is taken care of, you just relax. " He assured his wife.

"Jai why are we here?" An impatient Ban asked looking at the surrounding of the beach, not many people were there since it was an Thursday, only elderly couples and few kids who were probably bunking their school etc.
"Why can't I bring my beautiful wife to this beautiful place," as he put his both hans on her shoulders an stared into her eyes.
"Someone is showing lots of love at me. What's the reason?" She wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Well this is to show my beautiful wife, how much, I love you." As he leaned forward an lowered his head to place an light kiss on her lips.
"Jai" she whispered softly, then pushed him little way. "This is public what will people say."
"What public, I have the full rights you know, kya karu if I have or anyone as wife as beautiful as you they will want to romance in public." He said with an sparkle in his eyes.
"Very funny" Bani made an face. "What will people think?"
"People will think, how much Mr. Walia loves his Mrs. Walia. " He said cheekily.
"Besides no one will be able to stop me, as I have three kids and the fourth one is on our way" as he lowered his eyes to her abdomen, for some reason her husbands piercing gaze made her blush.
Jai made open the back door of the car, and took out the picnic basket that had an blanket and pillows in it.
"You came prepared." Surprised Bani pointed out.
"Of course I did." Jai grinned, as he held one of her hand, together they walked to their destination.

Jai took her to an isolated area on the beach where an hut was set up for two with an stool like attached chairs, as the sun rays was shining on the hut's roof.
" Jai its so romantic," she didn't need an sunset or night for an romantic setting as long as this was an gesture by her husband she couldn't have asked for more.

Her face fell, "of course silly, I did this for you and our unborn child." Getting up from her seat, she gave her husband and big bear hug, taken back but he slowly wrapped his hands around her.
After letting go of her they both sat down opposite each other, just staring at each other without saying anything while their eyes talked.
Bani looked at the table, Jai had gotten everything except their drinks. "Jai where are the drinks."
"Bani I forgot, sorry Jaan" as he held his ears.
"But I am thirsty"
"Close your eyes Bani"
"Why'
"Just to do it." She followed the his inturctions and closed her eyes.
"abracadabra " His deep voiced said, Bani opened her eyes, saw that in the center of the table with two straws.
"Coconut water" Bani said excitedly.
"Bani your pregnancy, and coconut water go long way."
"You still remember.'
"Remember how I can forget." As they both snipped from the straws. "I thik I am the first husband to be waken at the middle of the night at 3am, were is wife asks him to go an climb the coconut tree, and bring her coconut water."
"I was craving for it." She pointed out.
"Honey, you could have craved for popcorn, chole bhutre, peda, ice-cream, banana, but coconut water." He shook his head.
"Sorry" Bani made an face. "It was your fault, I needed to cool down."
"Cool down from what?" He teased purposely, knowing what she was referring to.
"You are so mean." Bani kicked him playfully.

After their afternoon lunch, enjoying the silence and the quiet atmosphere, Jai and Bani decided to spend some time under the tree, as he placed the blanket on the sand, and then made Bani lean her back against the tree truck, and placed some cushion for her comfort.
As she stretched her legs, and moved she was comfortable, she closed her eyes for an minute, opened it she saw that her hubby had placed his head on her lap, an he was staring at her. She stroked his hair affectionately as she lowered an kissed his forehead.
He raised his eyebrow, "what's that for?"
"Just for being you" She replied with love showing in her eyes, smile on her lips that was from the bottom of her heart. As he entwined her fingers with his, they let the moment passed with the silence, as ocean waves made an rhythmic with the winds making them forget where they were, no meant where they were as long as they had each other through thick and thin, for better and worse.

She tapped at her husband's shoulder, who was paying the vendor, and he looked at her.

"That boy just winked at me." Bani pointed with her finger toward the kid, who looked younger then Ayush and Amit but older or same age as Atharva.
Jai walked toward the boy, and knelt down to the kids level, "beta meri biwi par line kyu mara ra hai."

Jai looked at the boy disbelieving, "you want to marry the lady in brown dress. Not in this life time champ."
"Yes, the kid shook his head."
"Beta you can't marry her, she is my wife."
Kid thought for an moment, and shrugged his shoulder, "so she can't divorce you na uncle." Jai was shocked at what the kid said, he opened his mouth to say something but closed it.
Bani looked at what was going on, she couldn't make out but from her distance she could see that both her husband and kid were glaring at each other.
"What's going on?" Asked the approaching voice of Bani, who was walking towards them, seeing her kid, lowered his eyes, and he turning red, seeing this Jai chuckled to himself.
"Bani this kid wants to marry you!' Bani looked surprise, and shocked at her husband, then lowered her gaze, at the kid who was bowing his head.
"Beta do you want to marry me?" Bani asked kneeling down, an the kid looked at her with his innocent round brown eyes, and nodded his head shyly. "I would love to marry you, but you see (as she pointed with her thumb to Jai) I am married to him." The kid looked crestfallen.
"Kya ap humse dosti karogi?" he extended his hand, shyly.
"What an smart kid he is." Jai thought for an moment. "I wonder if he is Atharva's lost brother from his previous birht."
"I will love to be your friend." She extended her hand into his small little hand. "May I know what the name of my friend is?"
"Prem…" he hesitated little bit, "Prem Juneja."
"That's a beautiful name." Making the kid blush more.
"Prem we should find your Premika" Jai teased, which earned him an nudge from his wife, ignoring Jai's comment.
"What's your name?" He asked shyly.
"Bani, Bani Walia."
"Bani, Rani." He clicked his tongue.
"Bani, Rani" that's what your uncle calls me something, as she indicated with her eyes to Jai, who was like finally they noticed me.
Prem noticing Jai made an face. "He looks old" Prem noticed Jai's strands of gray hair.
"Buddha hoga tera baap." Jai said under his breath through his grittedteeth, but seeing the glare from his wife eyes, he plastered an soft smile.
"That's what I tell him beta, but he calls me old." Bani made an sad face.
"Bani Rani you are not old" As the kid took gave her a bear hug.
"So my new friend do you want to eat ice cream with me?" The kid nodded his head, as he put his hand in his Bani's hand. Jai shrugged his shoulder, and looked up at the sky, "I have three sons, who are always hovering around their mother, when I get way from them its some one else." He shook his head an followed Bani and Prem.
Prem's dad came who was looking for him for nearly 10minutes and taken Prem from Bani, and Jai was happy.

Together they walked hand in hand along the shores, as the water hit their feet to their car, in each other 's company they didn't know how the time passed with just like creating the magic of their first date, but everything had changed fo r better.
