Massi had no option but to beg at the door of Walia Mansion.
Jai paled at the sight of a distraught Massi.
"what had Bani done now", he wondered.
"Mr Walia, cried Massi, I have come today to beg you to save the life of my precious Ganga. Mr Walia I know what you feel for Bani and I cannot stand here before you trying to make you see reason, because today it is not about you and Bani. Today I beg for the life of that innocent child that is lying on that hospital bed, she sobbed.
Jai was irked. His Massi that called him Munna or Jai was suddenly addressing him as Mr Walia. A name that signified a stranger. A man held in high regard. A name that commanded respect. A name that was synonymous with a master and a servant. And it pained him.
" Massi please get up, he whispered. Please>
"No she beseeched, I will kneel here today in front of you, my hands spread out begging for your mercy. Save my Ganga Mr Walia."
"if it is money that Bani needs Massi she should have come herself, isn't she ashamed on sending you, he demanded.
"bani did not send me Mr Walia, in fact she is at the hospital she does know that I am here. And if she did she is too distraught to do anything about it.
"why Massi, can't Daksh afford her and their child, he jeered.
Massi stood up then. The man that stood before her was evil personified. He had no mercy. Admitting defeat, she looked at him in disgust and turned around to leave. She had failed Bani and Ganga and she knew at that moment that there was no justice in this world. She even wondered about the existence of God.
Jai stood squarely, looking at the retreating back of the woman that gave him so much comfort, so much of love and protection when he needed it the most. And it was this that broke his stance.
"massi how much does Bani need, he asked.
Still looking out Massi answered. "everything is not about money Mr Walia.
One day when it is too late you will find that out. Ganga has cancer, and bone marrow from her parents or siblings is required to give her some chance to recover." Bani cannot as she is a mismatch.
"then why doesn't Daksh do it, he questioned cutting her off.
"you have not heard what I said Mr Walia, it has to be one of her parents.
Daksh was and still is Bani's brother in law. You are Ganga's father. Bani was pregnant when you threw her out of your house and your life.
Turning to face him one last time, she looked at him pitifully. 'Don't believe me Mr Walia, believe the lies that you are so used to hearing. In fact I don't want Ganga to survive, I don't want her to grow up hating you. I want Bani to suffer this great loss. So that she too can grieve until she dies of it. Then you will be free. Free from the burden of Bani and your daughter. Free to live in this big house with your millions, surrounded by people that use you and are blackmailing you. Your cursed Bani that she will never be a mother again. Well you are so great Mr Walia that immediately you uttered those words Ganga is lying on the doorstep of death. Please I beg you she cried, folding her hands in prayer she once again kneeled to him. Please pray for Bani's death too. Free her Mr Walia, let her leave this world where you will never see or hear from her again. Because if Ganga dies then Bani is good as dead. Make it easy for her. I beg of you.
Unable to go on any further she ran out of WM.
