"How could you do this to my mother", yells ganga.
"please hear me out beta", pleads Jai.
"There is nothing left to hear or say, my mother loved you more than anything and anyone in this world, and you threw it back in her face, MR. JAI WALIA".
"Your mother lied to me, she kept things from me all the time".
"to protect you".
"how was I supposed to know that, I see a picture of MY wife in a wedding outfit standing next to another man, WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO THINK".
"you are supposed to think that there was some sort of misunderstanding and there is no way your wife would cheat on you but you, you went and married another woman"
"THAT MARRIAGE WAS A SCAM, ONLY SO PEOPLE WOULDN'T LAUGH AT ME EVERYTIME I WALKED BY,Ganga you were not there at the time so you wouldn't know…"
"yes I was there maybe not in front of you in the flesh but I was there, I was inside my mother, the women who you threw out of your house along with me".
"beta please I did not even know of you then".
"but when you did, you thought I was daksh uncles right".
"how do you even know that".
"it doesn't matter anymore mr. jai walia, im nobody to you and you are nobody to me".
"Ganga please enough is enough, when I found out the truth I kicked myself everyday since then, but then you came to me and I see bani in you please my angel don't leave your papa alone".
"IM NOT YOUR ANGEL NOT ANYMORE".
After the uproar in the Walia House Ganga snuck out with her bags in her hand and left Mumbai for good. There was nothing left for her there the bitter truth of her parents marriage left a hole in her heart, she only stayed because she thought after her mothers death there needed to be someone left to take care of her father, and now finding out from her jigyasa bua that her mother was nothing but insulted in her own home by the man she loved made ganga sick in her stomach.
She went to the airport and decided to go to a new place to start a new life, and would one day come back to take revenge.
After landing in London, Ganga was lost now where could she go she was only 17 years old, she went to various places to find work, law offices and hotels for any secretarial work but you needed experience and a degree then she finally found work at a very popular restaurant she became a waitress and lived with one of the other gals a couple blocks away from her job.
One night while waiting by a bus stop Ganga got into some trouble with a couple of thugs.
"Look I gave you everything I had my money and my necklace, please leave me alone", cries ganga.
"aww sweetheart we just want to have some fun, come on take of the jacket and lets get started", laughed one of the men.
"I agree lets have some fun", says a husky voice from behind.
"hey man go find someone else, there are plenty of other sluts around here this one's ours".
"oh no no my friend I will not leave this young lady by herself with you, just look at her face, shes obviously disgusted", smirks aparajit.
"come on get him guys".
After the little brawl Aparajit picks up the frightened young girls jacket and sits down next to her.
"I believe this and this is yours". Hands her the necklace and wallet.
"th th tha thank you", shivers ganga.
"they didn't hurt you did they", aparajit takes a quick scan.
"no you came just in time, I don't know how to thank you.
"well I do, come and have a cup of coffee with me, you look like you could use a warm boost".
Ganga looks apprehensive.
"don't worry I am a man of 32, and a man with a family, please come".
After that night, Aparajit and Ganga got to know one another quite well. He felt sorry for this young girl, which shocked him quite a bit seeing as usually he would've given her some money and a job in his company, but no he invited her into his home to become a part of his family and she agreed, of course due to his mothers insistence. Ganga too became involved in his life. She would cook at times when she was not studying and she was becoming attached to his sisters and mother. Yes, she was a gem of a girl, she really deserved a good life, and AD was happy to give it to her.
Couple of years later AD found out about his mothers illness and her last wish was to see her son settled. Aparajit thought that was impossible, he had fallen in love once and expected to be married only once, besides that who would marry a 36 year old workaholic, for money yes, but to give his family love not in this day and age. Maa told Jeet to think about ganga, she became a daughter to her so quickly and knew that ganga would fill her jeet's life with love and happiness again. Jeet was against the idea, ganga was too young to be tied down like that, she deserves a life of her own too. However when Ganga found out about his mothers last plea she agreed to the marriage.
Aparajit and Ganga became husband and wife but not in the true sense for his mothers happiness and well-being they acted like a couple in love but only they knew the true meaning of their relationship, just friends, friends who were married.
END OF FLASHBACK
Ganga didn't sleep all night thinking about the promise she had made to herself before leaving India, maybe it was time to go back and finally take revenge for the hurt her mother had been through while she was on this earth.
Meanwhile Aparajit was having the best dream ever.
Ganga had just gotten out of the shower and decided to wear her new sari her husband bought for her, as she was combing through her wet hair she felt two arms wrap around her waist.
"Good Morning sweetheart, you didnt even wake your husband this morning, very bad", says aparajit while nuzzling her shoulders.
"you looked so sweet while you were sleeping, i didnt have the heart to wake you".
"well that was very kind of you but i got worried when i didnt find you beside me".
ganga turns around and wraps her arms around his neck, "well dont worry im not going anywhere".
"hmm even if you wanted to i wouldnt let you, especially now when our new little joy is about to arrive".
ganga blushes, "okay please let me go, what will maa think, we've been up here so long".
"she'll assume her son and his wife are spending some quality time together, now give me my morning kiss"
"hmm ok fine close your eyes and bend down a little"
aparajit follows her orders
ganga pecks him on the cheek and whips her wet hair around and splashes his face and runs out
with a smile on his face aparajit jerks awake wishing his dream would one day become his reality
