Startled Bani looked through the mirror at her husband.

'Why?' she asked.

'Bcoz I got something for u.' he said smiling at her. 'close ur eyes & don't open untill I tell u to'

She closed her eyes. Waiting for his gift. Through all these years he never failed to surprise her with his gifts.

She felt cold metal around her neck , heavy earrings on her ears.

'Now open ur eyes' he whispered on her ears.

No. He hasn't failed to surprise her even today. Slowly she touched the jewelleries. These were the same ones which she sold to help him 11 years ago. Tears started to trickle down from her eyes.

'Is that what I get in return of giving my wife a gift?' JW mocked, brushing away her tears.

'I heard from somewhere that my husband is also fasting for me. So I will thank him properly tonight, after the fast is broken'

JW stared at her. The intense stare which made her blush. She turned & buried her face in his chest. He left out a small laugh.

*Knock knock*

JB broke apart

'Papa, Maa, chaliye upar sab intezar karraha hai. Hum sab ready h….'

'Mamma, Papa, Mamma, Papa……' Ganga was cut by the twins. They ran upto their parents & indicated to lift them up. They obliged. Bani was finding it hard to carry her KC thali.

'Laiye main samvalti hoon' said Ganga taking the thali from her mother's hand. Together they went upto the stairs.

Ganga followed her parents carrying the thali. Wishing to love some1 like her mother. Wishing to be loved by some1 like her father.

As soon as they reached the roof AK got down & ran upto where Massi & Dadi was sitting. Ganga joined the girl group.

'Bari maa' a smiling Veera came towards Bani.

'Itni din baad ayi Bari ma ki yaad haan??' said she. Slightly pulling his ears. Every1 giggled.

'Bari maa mai ab bara hogaya hoon.'

'lekin mere liye tu abhi chhota hi hai. Ab bol itne din milne kiyu nehi aaya??'

'Mamma ne ane nehi dia' Veer answered cheekily.

JW & Pushker was watching the two from distance. Sitting with Adi, Ranveer, Nachiket & Daksh. Remembering how Pushker came with Veer's DNA report. Veer was indeed Pushker's son. He took him with himself. Promising JB that he would give him a mother's love also.

Bani looked at Naina with question in her eyes. She was sitting with the other women of the family.

'Kiyu nehi aane dia wo vi batao' Naina charged Veer.

'OK OK. Mera last exam ka marks low aya tha. Iss liye kahi jana mana tha.'

'hmm. Jo socha tha. Baap ka beta.' said Bani.

'hey. that's unfair' exclaimed Pushker.

But Bani ignored him.

'Jah tujhe maaf kar dia. Jake Varun ke saath khel.'

'Didi aap usse kabhi kuchh nehi kahte' complained Naina.

'Tum hona uske liye.'

Bani joined the group where Maasi, Dadi, Naina, Rano, Raashi, Purva & Meera were sitting. Meera had a newborn baby in her arms. It was 1 & a half year ago since they got married after so much coaxing from the family. They were dating for 3 & half a years. Both were apprehensive about taking their steps further.

'Bilkul thik' replied Meera.

'Are thekho chand nikal aya.'called out Maasi. 'Meera beta teri gudia mujhe de. Main pakarti hoon. Tum saab jao. Raasam pura karo.'

Later that evening everyone assembled in WM drawing room. All the families will stay in WM tonight as the next day is Daksh's daughter's naming ceremony. Which will be held there.

'I have an announcement to make' said Daksh. 'itz my daughter's naming ceremony tomorrow. & now I would like u all to suggest some names for her.'

At last a name suggested by Adi was finalized.

'Oh no.' Ganga moaned suddenly.

'what??' almost every1 asked at the same time.

'Another V' Ganga pointed out.

Every1 burst out laughing. Well it was true that excluding the JB kids all the others' names started with 'V'

Sahil-Ranu : Varun

Ranveer-Raashi : Vidya

Rohit-Anu : Vasudha

Nachiket-Purva: Vedika & Vishaal

Pushker-Naina : Veera (pia) & Vindhra

Daksh-Meera : Vaidehi

Maasi & Dadi watched the whole family as they enjoyed together. This was what they lost. They thanked god for returning it to them.

Apart from all of them, another soul was watching them. Leaning against the kitchen door with a smile on his lips. 'This is what I came here back for', mused the most loyal butler of WM, Tony.😉
