'yes Bani I am mad and I want my revenge… as it is you talk too much … so I guess it's you who will die first …' saying that Ratri pointed her gun at bani's head……

'Ruk jao Ratri' a came voice from the back…

'Ma what are you doing here… aap yahan kya kar rein ho' repeated Ratri…

'Ratri yeh sab kya hai beta… you have a gun on your hand' … spoke Twinkle Singhania… (😆 Twinkle kahan ho 😆)

Jai Bani both looked at each other trying to comprehend what was happening … Ratri was making their life miserable and now this lady clims to be Ratri's mother … and how did she get here… so many questions were floating in their mind…

'Jai Bani … you don't know mw, but being Kajal and Ratri's mother … I apologise to both of you for the trouble my daughter has caused you.'

Ban: auntieji please… don't say sorry … I understand what Ratri is going through … if I was in her her place perhaps I would have done the same.

Ratri: ma how can you apologise to this Bani … she is the main cause of my sister's death and you're apologising… when these two should asking for mercy … aap aisa nahin kar sakti… shouted Ratri….

Just then Pushkar walked in with some police offiers and doctors…

Ratri: Ma yeh sab log yahan pe…

'I've called them here Ratri… enough of your madness… apni behen ki pyar mein tum sahi galat sab kuch bhool chuki ho… and I can't allow you to destroy anyone's life… you have done enough damange… you need treatment baby…' said Twinkle hugging her daughter…

'Ma aap aisa nahin kar sakti… mein aapki beti hoon… how can you side with my enemy ma… they've killed our kajal ma… how can you forgive them…' Ratri walked to Bani and point the gun at her …

'Rattri' shouted Jai… don't you dare point that gun at my Bani… if you want to kill anyone kill me… I'm responsible for ur sister's death… not Bani… so kill me …'

Bani looked at Jai … as tears formed in her eyes… she was proud of her Jai… she knew no matter how much she lies to him… he will love her immensely … she felt happy that Jai was not angry with her… which brough a small smile on her pale face…

'Kya pyar hai Jai… after knowing she has lied and betrayed you… you are willing to die for her… why Jai… why didn't you love my sister like that…WHY? '

'Bani is my wife... and I don't think I have to give you any explanation for my love towards her... do you hear me...' roared Jai...

'Ratri, you can't force people to love… it just happens… let Bani and Jai go and you come with me'… requested Twinkle…

'No ma… I have to settle my score with them… either they die or I will kill myself…'

Pushkar tried to come forward as Ratri held the gun on her forehead… 'You decide Ma… it's either them or me… ' Twinkle gestured Pushkar to remain in his place… 'Ratri … I've tried to make you understand but you just wouldn't listen to me… I have no option left but to do this…' Ms. Singhania … walked towards Ratri and had hugged her… while Ratri screamed saying … 'Ma … don't come close to me… I'm telling you I'll shoot…' Ms. Singhania took the gun from ratri's hand and had hugged her tight… Ratri broke down crying taking Kajal's name… 'Ma mujhe meri kajal chiyen…' 'Sshh my baby everything will be fine' came a soothing voice of Ms Singhania …

'Doctors please take her away…' spoke Ms. Singhania … she let go of Ratri as couple of nurse and ward boy came forward to take ratri to the ambulance … the doctor followed them behind as Ratri screamed …

Everyone just looked towards the departing figure of Ratri … Ms. Singhania sat on the floor motionless … while Bani went and sat next to her… 'Please Auntie, don't cry everything will be fine' …

'I'm sorry beta … because of my daughter you and jai had to go through all these… please forgive…'

'Auntie please it's not your fault… you don't have to apolgise I understand'.

'No Bani you don't understand anything… I knew all these from beginning… when I came to know Ratri had planned Jai's and Anamika's accident… I was so scared that despite knowing everything I remained quiet… for my daughter's sake… I didn't want her to go to jail… mein ek ma hoon… how can I see my daughter behind the bars…'

'Aap janti thi … phir bhi aap ne…' commented Jai…

'haan beta … I knew it… that time I had warned her not to do anything like this ever again… but she didn't listen to me… she tried to harm both of you .. she had even hired a doctor to cause distance in your relationship… I found her behaviour very strange… isi liey I got her medical check up done… and the doctor advice me to admit her to the hospital…'

'Kya unko koi bimari hai' asked Bani…

'When ratri and Kajal were small I got diorced from my husband as we didn't get along… I had a huge business to look after … and due to my work pressure I couldn't give time to my daughters… Ratri was 10 years elder then Kajal ….and she became Kaja;'s mother in my absence… Ratri ne kajal ko apni bacchi ki tarah pala… and sudden death of Kajal made her hate you two as she feels you are responsible for her death… her overprotective nature nad love for kajal has become a nightmare for you two… please forgive my daughter and forgive me too…'

'Please auntie I understand you as a mother… but today you have saved my sister and Mr. Walia'… said Pushkar…

'haan Bani … Ratri hospital se bhag gayen thi…uesi ne tumko kinap kiya… aur yahan le aayi… when auntie came to know of it ... she had contacted us and that's how we came to know you were here'….

Mr. Walia you take Bani home and I will take Auntieji with me… I have to record her statement and then I'll drop her home…

'Bani… chalo… ghar chalet hai…'

Bani smiled and followed Jai outside… the car ride to home was unusually quiet… Bani tried to make a conversation… but didn't know what to say …was she suppose to say sorry for concealing so many things from him … or was she suppose to thanks him for being with her…. In her two minds ... she couldn't decide …. So she just remained quiet and hoped Jai would say something to her… but like her he was quiet too… and only concentrated on his driving….

'Bani tu aur Munna thik tu hai na… asked masi hugging both her children… thank God… you are fine... Munna tujhe kya hua itni chup kyun hai…'

Jai did not answer her … he just walked off to his room… masi failed to understand what was wrong with Jai … and why was he behaving so strangely… he should be happy his Bani was back … but he seemed so aloof

'Bani kya baat hai' … asked Masi touching her face…

Now Bani understood why he was so calm so quiet … this was the calmness that arise before the storm … she felt as if her pulse would stop beating any moment… she didn't have the courage to face him…. What will she say to him … that she lied … she betrayed him … while he trusted her loved her with all his being…

'Bani bahu bata na kya baat hai…' Bani cried as she hugged masi tightly… 'Masi Jai ko pata chal geya mein bani hoon… aur mein kabie Anamika thi hi nahin…'

'Kya … yeh sab kuch kaise hua…' Bani narrated the whole incident that took place earlier…

'Masi, ab mein kya karoon… Jai ko kaise samjhaue ke mein unse bohut pyar karti hoon… ji nahin sakti mein unke bina…'

'Bani ... chup ho ja… is tarah se rote nahin… kuch nahin hoga…Munna tujhse naraz ho nahin sakta… woh tujhse bohut pyar karta hai… unski aankho mein saaf saaf dikhai deta hai ke woh tujhe kitna chata hai…'

'Par masi'

'Tu chinta mat kar… it's very late now… perhaps he will not talk to you tonight… but everything will be fine… just give him some time… thik hai… ab khana khake sau jao…' said masi kissing her forehead…

Bani entered her dimly lit bedroom… and there he was standing by the window… she shut the door and hesitantly walked at towards him… as she was about to place her hand on his shoulder… Jai turned around… they both looked at each other… his eyes were red… it seems he was crying… Bani cursed herself… it's all because of her… her lie has brought tears and distance in their relationship… Bani kept on looking at Jai's eyes with pleading eyes… but his stare remain firmed as if asking her so many question… and looking for answers…

'Mujhe aise mat dekho Jai… I can't look into those eyes…' said Bani lowering her eyes…

'Kyun Bani… kyun nahin dekh sakti…' he said holding her by her arm and was shaking her …

Bani broke down crying … 'mujhe maaf kardo Jai… please… par mein kya karti … I had to do it to save you and to save our family…'

Jai: still Bani… why didn't you tell me the truth God damn it… why did you conceal your identity from me… I was living with a lie… I don't even know who my wife is…

Bani: Jai please listen to me ... I wanted to tell you the truth ... but I never got the chance to say anything... believe me Jai...

Jai: believe you Bani! .. ... you kept me in dark ... I didn't even know who I was marrying.... you lied to me Bani... marriages are suppose to be based on trust and faith ... but our marriage was based on a lie ... and you're still asking me to believe you... how could you Bani .. I loved you ... I trusted you .. and this is what you do to me... and now you tell me how do I believe you... I feel betrayed by ... you betrayed me........

Bani: Jai please ... ...

But Jai did not listen to her ... but just went out of their bedroom after shutting the door with a bang!

Bani cried her heart out as she dropped herself on the floor… 'Jai please meri baat suno… I'm sorry Jai… I'm sorry…' Bani cried through out the whole night not knowing what to do or how to handle this situation…
