Chapter 39:
Later that night after dinner… in JB's room…
Jai got out of the bathroom changing into his night suit… and looked at the bed…where Bani was lying down looking at the celling and her hand was on her stomach… was she not feeling well… looking all lost… he knew it she's been thinking about that woman… when he came to see her after coming home from office she was lost as well.. didn't wanted to talk also during dinner she was unusually quiet……he needs to talk to her… and make her understand not to worry so much as nothing bad will happen to tem…they will be together always… putting the towel aside he came towards the bed… and went close to Bani… mostly he would pull her onto him and would hold her tightly and sleep… but today he placed his head on her chest and placed his hand on top of her hand that was resting on her stomach… he tried to relax her… wanted to let her know that he's very close to her… close to her heart… Bani's hand automatically went to his back and she held him tightly…sensing Bani's response Jai closed his eyes and settled him comfortably in her arms… and stayed likes that without saying anything…
On the other hand… Bani realised what she just did… before whenever Jai would do anything like this her hand used to never leave the side of the pillow… she used to feel stiff and uncomfortable… but today…what made her hands to take such step… why isn't she feeling uncomfortable… infact she's feeling as if her restless heart as found peace… he heart is not beating irrethemically… everything seems so perfect… what is this change… why is she feeling different today… how did this change occurred……
Bani train of thought cam to halt as she felt Jai's hand stroking the side of her stomach as he asked: Bani kya baat hai…are you ok… tumhara haath tumhare pat mein kyun hai… u have a stomach ache or something…
Bani: haan woh thora sa dard kar raha tha… Jai can I ask you something…
Jai: yes go ahead what is it? … Jai lift himslef up and looked at Bani and said… koi pareshani…
Bani: Jai kya mein kabie Ma (mother) ban sakun gi …
Jai: Bani… kaisie batein kar rein ho… tum Ma kyun nahin bano gi… hum parents zaroor baneg ge… and we will have lots of kids…
Bani: aap sach keh rein ho na? …
Jai: Haan Bani…I'm telling the truth… why would I lie…
Jai placed his palm on her stomach and said… hamara baccha zaroor hoga… aur tum Ma zaroor bano gi… saying that he slide a bit doen a plced a soft kiss on her stomach… just above her navel… and placed his head there and closed his eyes…as Bani stared stroking his hair with her hands…
Jai: Bani … why this sudden question… I mean tell me truthfully what's bugging you jaan…
Bani wanted to tell him the truth as why she's so anxious… and feeling scared but… how can she tell him… how his sister is after his happiness… can't see him happy and leading a normal happy life…how can she tell him that Jigs doesn't want him and Bani to get closer… how? … her mind is occupied with so many questions but she hardly have any answers to them…
Jai: Bani… where are you lost tell me na…what's bothering you…
Bani still remained quiet as she doesn't have any answer to his questions…she's just waiting for morning to arrive so that she could with Pushkar to the hospital and caught that doctor who lied to them and presnt him in front of Jai… this is the only way of exposing Jigyasa Di in fornt of the whole family other than that there is no other way…
Jai: Bani kuck to bolo… mein janta hoon tum us aurat ke wajai se pereshan ho… magar iska yeh matlab nahin ke tum har pal ish tarah se gum sum raho… bani don't let this women affect our life…just forget about her…
Bani: Jai mein kaise bhool jaue… she is driving me crazy with fear… she had planned your accident during that engagaement night and look that had lend you in big trouble… you had to went through so much pain… Jai I can't see you going through all that all over again… we have to do something…
Jai got himself up from her stomach and pulled her in a warm hug as she was crying…
Jai: Bani please don't cry… baat baat par roti ho… thik hai…I agree with you what ever you're saying is absolutely right … we will take police help and if necessary we'll employ security guards…ab tu rona band karo please…
Bani's crying didn't stop as she realized the person from whom she wanted to save Jai is present in their very own house… infact that killer lady is one of their family member…and she is none other than his own sister…
Jai: Bani mujhe yeh batao tumein twins kaise lagte hai…
Bani looked at him blankly as why this sudden question of twins… so slowly and a bit hesitantly she asked him why he was aking about twins…
Jai: Bani I like twins… imagine we having twins… that would be so good… what say?...
Haan Jai…she said quietly as she rememebered her twin…and held back those tears that were threten to come out of her eyes…
Jai: Bani chalo ab tum sau jao… you ok na… and don't think about anything else and trouble yourself… you just sleep … and tell me first do you still have stomach ache…
Bani nodded her head saying yes… so Jai went out of the bed and got some peracetamol for her … and made her take the medicines… then he told her to lie down…and took out some ointment and started spreading some on her stomach…
Bani: Jai yeh aap kya kar rein ho…!!!!
Jai: Bani chup-chap leti raho and I'll massage your stomach exactly the way u massage my head whenever I have my headache…. And after the massage all your pain will fly through the window just like mine with your head massage… understood… now you keep quiet and let me do what I want to do…so Bani just laid back as her hubby darling massaged her stomach… and it did work as in no time she fell as leep as it brought her some relief from the pain……afterwards when Jai noticed Bani was asleep he also went beside her and placed a goodnight kiss on her forehead and slept beaside her…..
Following morning it was Holi… and everyone got busy with making the preparation for the event … the house was decorated and there were lots of colours all around the house…making it look all bright…
Bani was getting ready and she went to her cupboard to get out a plain white colored dress when Jai came from behind wearing a white colored kurta… and told her to wear a plain white saree and not a dress as she looks good in sarees…
Bani: lekin Jai aap jante ho na mujhe saree pehenni nahin aati…
Jai: tu kya hua… hum hain na…hum aapko saree pehna denge…
Bani: oh go away … mauka mila nahin aur aap shuru ho jate ho… mujhe abb bhi uesh pooja wala incident yaad hai … aap ne kya kya kiya tha…she stopped in her track as she realized what she just blabbered …
Jai came from her behind and hugged as he said…kya kiya tha maine…zara khool ke batayen ge aap… she blashed at his comment and pushed him saying…I don't remember anything …
Jai: oh really saying that he advanced towards her when Anu came to their room saying…Mamiji aren't you ready yet…anu noticed a saree on Bani's hand s0o she said…aur Mami aap saree pehenna chahti ho…chaliyen mein aap ko saree pehnati hoon…
Jai laughed at Anu's comment…as he very well knew how Anu had lended them in trouble with her experience of wearing others saree…haan Anu kyun nahin Jao jake aapni Bani mami ko saree pehna do… aur haan dekna ke kahin ueke kamar mein ya kahin aur koi bee stang hain bhi ya nahin…
Bani didn't let him finish his sentence as she pushed him out of the roomas she very well knew what his evil mind was upto….Jai laughed and went downstairs…
Anu helped Bani with the saree and after sometime both Anu and Bani came downstairs … Anu was wearing a plain white churidar dress as Bani looked gorgeous in a plain white saree revealing all her curve only for Jai to see…Both came down and went next to the family members where everyone was standing and chatting away….
Jai looked at Bani and only he knew what he wanted to do seeing her in that saree… how much can one control… control ki bhi hand hoti hai… anyways it was all his fault he was the one who told her to wear that saree…ab bhugto… he can only look and can't do nothing beaside that… damn that doctor… Bani noticed how he was cursing and she knew it what he was thinking… so she went next to him and asked him how she looked in that saree…
Jai: mujhe marne ka irada hai kya…
Bani smiled at his comment and got her answer on how she looked … Jai aap thora sabar rakhiyein… sabar ka phal hamesha mitha hota hai….saying that she went towards Anu…where all the ladies were gathered…
Jai pondered over what Bani meant by that…hhmmm sabar ka phal meetha hota hai!!?!!
After the daily pooja was done… Bani gave aarti and everyting…afterwards Jai look some red colored rang and went towards Bani and filled her mang with it and then placed some rang on her cheeks as well…and said Happy Holi Jaan…and he placed a soft kiss on her forehead as well…
Bani too took some pink colored rang and coloured his face with it… and not leaving a single place uncovered… she laughed as she did that…she ran towards Masi and hid behind her….
Jai shouted saying: Bani yeh kya kiya…itne sare rang…main tumein nahin choron ga (ga or is it gi oh whatever just excuse my hindi huys…)
Jai came after Bani and stood infront of Masi…Masi maine kitne pyar se rang lagaya aur isne…
Masi: Jai dekh yeh tum dono ke beech ki larai hai ish mein mujhe nahin parna… Just then Rano and all the other Dixit family entered the house…
Masi: Aare aap log aayein na please… jai chalo hum sab bahar chalet hain … wahan pe holi khelenge…
Bani and Jai looked at each other …and without saying much both followed Masi and went outside where they all played holi and got covered with the rang of holi….
Rano played holi with her jiju and Di…they were having a blast…everyone enjoying themselves… Bani got a bit startled when jighyasa came forwarsd to put rang on her… Jai was standing next to her… so she just clutched his hand tightly…while Jigyasa wished her and left to play holi with others...Jai was taken back at her sudden reaction....
Jai: kya baat hai Bani... he couldn't finish his sentence as Bani hugged him tightly as if he will go away from her... someone will snatch him away.... it didn't take much time for Jai to realize why she behaved that way... most probably sahe remembered that women....so hugged her back wrapping his arm around her....
Bani was thinking she has to do something before things get out of control and since today is holi so it was not possible for her to go out at the hospital to meet that doctor... since she has waited that long...so one more day of wait will not harm...but she has to sort things out very soon...especially she needs to take a step forward to advance her and Jai relationship that too soon...very soon.....
