Omg, Sweetu! Just read all the parts and they were awesome!!! Loving the storyline. 😃 Jai is soo... 😳 But he's a very big jerk! 😡 Can't he see what he's doing to poor Bani. I feel so awful for her. Bechari is so in love with him, and he can't even see it. Uday's a very clever man. 😉 😆 Really looking forward to how this FF progresses. Can't wait to read more! 😃

Another Fabulous part!! 👏 👏 The beginning part was a bit touching where UW was sharing his feelings with his wife's soul....Jai is an idiot who doesn't know about his own feelings... 😕 he is so confused..... 😕 her feelings were very well depicted........ 👏 So UW found out the truth....hope bani doesn't get blamed.....waiting for the next part.... 😊

Oh how sad I feel...I am still sick, but here is your udpate. It is very very late here, way past midnight but I must give this to you, as I will be away for the whole week and it would be unfair to leave you waiting 😳 .

Part 6

Ice cold.

His father's words felt like an ice cold knife plunging through his chest, carving his heart into a bloody mess. The pain was nothing but a numb stab; it was the deceit that killed him the most, it was her betrayal that hurt the most.

Bani.

Her eyes give her away, the way they always did and always would. Jai could see the guilt in her pool of glistening tears. She didn't need to say much, her expression spoke volumes. Sudden disgust poured into his every vein, his expression scrunching, his mind trying hard to hide the cruel pain of his father's words and Banis betrayal.

Jai silently concluded with a harsh determination that women were wretched devils, alluring with seduction, easy to please but heart breakers. They always left men vulnerable, exactly as his mother, and now Bani, had left him.

He was alone.

"You are a nothing Jai Walia. What have you achieved so far in your life? All you have done is leech of me and fool around with women. Have you never once though before you acted? Have you never once considered about this families reputation. You are nothing and…and" Uday thundered, gasping for breath his left hand clutching at his chest "and will remain so till you clean up your act."

"No." Jai whispered, his mind coming to life, his fathers words echoing in his mind like a tape recorder.

"W…what"

"You have never thought much of me have you Papa? I have never been good enough for you; no matter how hard I try to gain a reputation in your company you are never satisfied. Must I dig my own grave for your smile to appear? Tell me father dearest" he questioned, a touch of melancholy lacing his voice "do you even care about me?"

Uday stood silent, unwilling to believe the words pouring from his son's mouth. Was his son such a fool, such an arrogant idiot that he could see nothing before his eyes? Uday loved his baby boy more than life itself, why couldn't Jai see that? All he was trying to do was protect him.

"I know this shaddi isn't real, but I want to hear it from you." Uday hushed, purposely ignoring his son's question, instead a sense of trepidation hitting him, his BP rising for the worst. He had to take matters into his own hands "I have decided that you will marry Meera."

Still no reply, nothing, Uday's temper rose

"Are you listening to me Jai? ARE YOU?..I want to hear it."

He just had to hear what he already knew to be true from the 'horse's mouth'.

"You already know the truth about Bani and me, what more is there for me to say. So there Dad you have my answer this marriage is not real." Jai bit out, his sarcasm turning to irritation, his face turning away from the two of them "she means nothing to me. It was all a game, a bit of fun or as you say 'fooling around.'"

Uday stood stunned, his hand gripping the end of his chair. Why was it so painful to know that his son had lied to him? What happened to the "father-son" relationship, did it die?

"You will be marrying Meera, the shaddi is a week away. Everything is arranged…I have already explained the situation to her father and he is still willing. You should be grateful. I will arrange a press conference later on."

Silence, nothing.

"You will marry Meera, Jai"

The seconds turned into minutes yet still no reply came. Uday silently walked away, his heart taking a turn for the worst. Weak hearts were genetic, but stubborn egos apparently were innate too.

20 minutes past and nothing happened.
Bani said nothing, she could do nothing.

For torturous minutes she stood watching Jai's defeated back, her mind curious to know what was racing through his.

Did he blame her?

Throughout his whole conversation with Uncle, Jai had not once looked at her, merely spoken of her in a resigned manner, as if she was non existent.

It hurt.

Her heart had pined upon hearing uncles final words. Jai was set to marry Meera. She didn't think the outcome would be such, she didn't think she would care…but oh how her soul pined for his touch, the gentle caress...but now he belonged to another.

Bani stared at his stiff back, contemplating what to do.She decided to stay silent, instead turning to walk past Jai. Their shoulders touched and his booming voice stilled her.

"Where are you going" Jai sneered, his voice shaking in hot rage "are you happy now? This was what you wanted. You have destroyed my life…are you happy with your game playing?"

Bani stood stone still, her body shaking.

"What…J.."

"NO. don't say my name. I don't know you, you don't know me." He breathed heavily, his body still turned away "why did you do it"

"J..Jai I didn't please listen to me" she whispered in desperate attempt to calm him, but squeaked in horror when his hand came hurtling down against the cool concrete wall, missing her face by mere inches.

Blood gushed.

"Why? I asked you a question"

He finally turned to face her, ignoring the huge gash on his hand, his eyes a burning fire. He could see the fear in her eyes, the concern in her expression and the quiver rippling through her spine. It gave him great comfort.

Jai Walia could no longer feel pain, his body was numb…only his heart felt the ache.

"Please…you…your hand. Jai let me look at it"

She lunged forward, ignoring the foreboding feel in her stomach. Bani could sense danger, but all rational thought flew from her mind, her brain fixated on one thought alone " his pain, his hand and the blood". Tenderly she stroked his limp hand, using her yellow pallu to dab gently at the gash.

"Why do you touch me as if you care? Leave me Bani, just go…I am no longer a free man. I dislike having strangers touching me"

He saw her wince, and her face become ashen.

"J…Jai" she whimpered "what's wrong with you? Please listen to me…I didn't…Jai please"

He slowly reached out and touched her chin, his fingers curling around the tip, a hurt expression filling his eyes.

"Why do you sound so innocent…so sweet. But you are a devil aren't you?" he hushed cruelly, his grip tightening around her chin drawing her face closer to his.

"You are hurting me, please Jai…stop. I didn't really"

His mouth moved to her ear, his lips rasping against her lobe, and a pained whimper escaped "A devil…a devil who drives me insane"

Bani felt his tongue trace an outline over her lips, his teeth nipping harshly at her lower lip. She felt the world disappear, the vulnerability of her situation forgotten, her emotions catching up with her. Loving him was a torture.

"A devil" he groaned again, his lips moving down to her neck, sucking softly at the tender flesh, his mind insane.

Jai's touch sent cascades of little shivers across her skin, her own fingers grasping for his head, ruffling through his hair drawing him closer. She opened her mouth, lowering her jaw to reach his lips. He was an addiction; the need for his touch was too much. She needed him, she wanted him, she no longer cared about what was right. Forget the situation, forget being 'forgotten in the morning", this was today, this was now, and this was real. She groaned finally allowing entrance to his lashing tongue, letting his bold arms sweep her off her feet.

"My Devilllllllll"
