Part 8

Ice cold droplets pelted down his back; cooling the heat that encircled his stomach and slowly easing the tension. He stayed under the cold shower for ten minutes, enjoying the relief it gave him.

This was all her fault.

Jai remembered waking up to her angelic sight two hours ago, a lazy smile playing his lips. The silk quilt had barely covered her, and he had stuck in his breath, his body becoming aroused at the naked ivory skin that beheld his sight, her supple breasts and blood red lips intoxicating his senses. Damn his masculinity. He had spent a good few hours pondering over his feelings, and all it had resulted in was confusion and cravings…cravings for her, making his body hot and tight. He had ended up needing a shower.

His brain, now, suddenly felt clouded, a million thoughts were hitting his mind. He felt like a caged animal, gasping for air. So much had happened and not once had he dared to think of the consequences.

He had pushed her to reach for her realms of ecstasy, and in return she had taken him with her.

Would Bani understand when she awoke? After all it was just s*x.
No feelings attached.

Sighing he stepped out of the shower, and grabbed a white towel, wrapping it carefully around his stomach. A dozen questions blazed his mind, eating his soul alive as he wrestled with his confusion. Did Bani mean what she had said, did she really love him? Had the previous night meant nothing to him, had the possessive feelings that had gripped him been nothing more than mere lust?

Was it just s*x? Or something more?

He slid open the bathroom door, and walked out, immediately greeted by a cool gust of wind. But his attention wasn't on the chill, but the n*ked woman lying on his bed. A tingly feeling erupted through his spine, and he felt the familiar knotting feeling in his stomach.

Jai Walia couldn't deny it any longer, he felt something for her. As each time he saw her, he just wanted to hold her more and more…feel her heartbeat next to his. What had transpired between them had been more than s*x…he had made love to her. He had made her his in every possible way.

Last night had not been a mistake. He had wanted her, needed her. She had quenched his thirst...but now he wanted more.

He silently approached the bed, his eyes clouded. It sagged under his weight and he leant over towards her, water spraying her face and neck. He watched as a single drop slid from her chin to the hollow of her neck. Ecstasy and se*ual tension gripped him and in a sudden burst of e*otic need he leaned down and kissed it away, trailing his tongue across her neck, his lips stopping near her left ear.

Sweet jasmine probed his senses "Princess…"

She was his doll, a beautiful angel. All his.

"I love you" he whispered softly, his fingers trailing softly across her stomach "probably more than you'll ever know baby."

She stirred.
