Chap # 4B:
"BAAAAAM….."
Aditya woke up with a start as Jigyasa shook him up….
"Aap ne woh suna????
Chaliye na dekh ke aana ki neecha ho kya raha hai…Kahin koi chor to nahin….
maine aap se pele bhi kaha tha ki shambu ko ab kuch zyada hi umar ho chuki hai..lekin aap hai ki bole jaa rahe the ki woh humara purana watchman hai aur etc etc…. Ab bhujatiye Evergreen Shambu ki Carelessness ka natija……hmmph…
Jaayiye na mujhe dar lagraha hai mera favourite porcelain vase bhi neeche hai….
agar who chori ho gaya toh mein aapko kabhi maaf nahin karungi….
Aditya pulled himself out of bed…assuring Jigyasa that nothing will happen to her oh-so-precious vase…praying that the crash was not of the same.
He slowly came down the stairs to see all the lights still on…
And moreover the front door was lying wide open….
He saw to his dismay that what he had dreaded had taken place the vase was lying in a thousand pieces….
"Oh shit….Now what do I do????" He thought.
He went closer to inspect and saw this puddle of water next to the broken pieces…and what was that droplets of blood…
What the hell was happening in walia mansion nowadays….
"Maybe I should ask Bani as her room is right next to the stairs maybe she'll know.."
He said to himself…He then proceeded towards Bani's room only to find it empty…Getting more and more puzzled by the second he slowly made his way up to Jai's room…..

"What do I do now???" she thought…..
Just then she heard a knock on the door.
She opened it and was relieved to find aditya who was looking at the whole situation with a raised eyebrow……
To aditya the whole situation was weird…
To see Bani trying to somehow handle the totally drunk Jai who was in a semi naked state….
He took one look at Bani's flushed face and chuckled… The girl was just too innocent….
Chuckling deeply he told Bani that he'll help Jai get into warm trousers and told her not to worry….
She turned to leave but aditya told her that she still had to dress Jai's wounds and to stay back…
Bani stood her back turned to them as aditya got Jai changed to warmer clothes…(only pajama's you see)…
Then aditya left saying that he was going to have hell to pay for when he wakes up for not being able to save Jigyasa's precious vase as she was not going to let him hear the end of it….
Bani carefully bathed the cut on Jai's forehead and bandaged it.
She then tucked him into bed and switched off the light.

10.00 am,
Walia Mansion, Mumbai,
The sun peeking out from the cream curtains of the Master Bedroom of Walia Mansion woke Jai up…
The moment he opened his eyes the hangover hit him on the head like a sledgehammer as if that had not been enough the now throbbing wound on his forehead added to his misery…
Squinting with pain he looked at his bedside clock…
"Oh Shit….its 10:00 already ouch…" he said as he smacked his forehead without thinking.
The room was spinning as he somehow managed to stand and walk unsteadily to the bathroom. Halfway through he lost balance and was about to fall when someone caught him…..
It was as if an angel had materialized out of thin air and saved him from falling face down…
He was been slowly assisted to his bed. He raised his face to look at his angelic savior.
The smile on his face did a u-turn and became a frown as quick as a flash…(A/N: u-turn????what the hell am I writing …oh well please do bare my silly pj's)
"Bani???" He said with a growl….
Just looking at the expression on her face made his blood boil….
"How dare she give me that look….that look of disapproval….grrrrrr….to hell with this hangover.." he thought and tried to stand up but the pain was too much…and he sat down again…
"Ye lijiye…." She said handing him a glass of weird looking juice and an aspirin.
He had the aspirin and took a sip out of the juice and made a face….
"What the hell is this ???? are you trying to poison me??? You forgot to add sugar or what ….this is sooo sour" He shuddered…
"Its just freshly squeezed orange juice with green tea, a bit of honey and orange slices….it always works for a hangover….that is only if you DRINK it….i also got you some egg sandwiches they'll hel.."she said….
"what do you know about hangovers???...." he asked cutting her short.….then seeing the hint of sadness in her face…
"oh I totally forgot…your old man was a total drunkard wasn't he???? Died of liver cirrhosis didn't he….you should know everything about hangovers…" he added with a sneer…
"I heard that he had owned a small bar…and that you used to bartend when he was lying sloshed at home????
Surely you must have met a lot of MEN there have'nt you????
You must have made quite a lot of money ain't it???
Too bad it got closed down now i just Wonder why that had happened... hmmm oh well now i know why you made such a fine WAITRESS…."
"The…the egg sand..wiches are on your coffee table" She said with tears welling up in her eyes before she ran out of the room sobbing.
And as for Jai he just did not care that he hurt her feelings…he ate the sandwiches with relish and gulp the juice down smacking his lips...
He called up aditya telling him to cancel all his meetings and appointments as he was not feeling well.
"Its called REVENGE sweetheart!!!" he thought with a sarcastic smile on his face.
