Since past couple of days, after the article out of Prachi in a movie with Farhan--"Rock On!!", forum is been filled with articles and discussion

A bitchy telly star called to tell us that Prachi Desai (Bani of Kasamh Se) may be overjoyed after landing a role in the Farhan Akhtar-produced film Rock On opposite Farhan. But the fact is that the director Abhishek Kapoor (better knows as Gattu) is Ekta Kapoor's cousin. "So does the penny drop now?" asks the actress. "We all know that Prachi is Ekta's current favourite and she will do anything for her, including getting her back via wild card in Jhalak!"

And if "it figures" then she shouldn't be contemplating leaving KS and Balaji should have already known of the offer though per the previous article it didn't seem like Balaji knew of it. 😕

Prachi Desai aka Bani of Kasamh Se is in a big quandary.

She has just signed a film with Farhan Akhtar's home production Rock On in which Farhan is debuting as an actor. The shooting of the film is scheduled to finish in March 2008. Being so, the actress is not sure how she will manage both Kasamh Se and shooting for the film.

Absolutely.I was wondering how come Farhan lost his mind, casting PD opposite him, and thought maybe he didn't have any right to cast anybody as he isn't the director. I've loved all the three Farhan movies, abut am just not looking forward to this one.

Urm, Abhishek is Ekta's cousin.....and?

This is the entertainment industry where those with contacts are the ones that make it to the top....I can reel of a list of names who are somehow related to directors, producers and actors and have made it big in the industry; even if they started of as rubbish actors....

All the best to PD.....if she does decide to quit KS then it'll be heartbreak for the majority of the forum but hey, she has to seek greener pastures.
