The unit of Kasamh Se was faced with a crisis of sorts when executive producer Kuntal Shukla lost his mobile phone recently. Kuntal kept delaying the purchase of a new phone due to which work on the sets suffered. Amongst the actors, it was Ram Kapoor who was most distressed. Eventually, he gifted his own phone, Nokia N93i to Kuntal.

A unit member says, "Kuntal has been part of Kasamh Se for more than six months now. He is a very efficient worker. Kuntal co-ordinates everything on the sets, but without his phone, he was handicapped. The actors were very worried. It was Ram Kapoor who went ahead and gave his own Nokia N93i to Kuntal. Ram bought himself another high-end phone."

When contacted, Kuntal Shukla confirmed the news. He says, "Yes, Ram gifted me his Nokia N93i. I was planning to buy a new one but Ram came to me and offered his own phone instead."

When contacted, Ram laughs it off. "When the EP loses his phone, work comes to a standstill. I am quite a tech-savvy person and have several phones lying at home. So, I gave him mine," he said.

That was good of RK, he seems a generous large hearted guy. Or maybe was just a pretext to buy another phone-- he's admitted that he does have a phone fetish.

Ok ok, yes its nice of him to give Kuntal his phone. And I agree maybe he spied on a new model that he wants to buy. 😛
