but happy KC to all who celebrate it...

We have Teej...I dont fast but leave non veg for that day...arre aur kya bache ki jaan loge kya itna to karti hoon na pati ke liye 😉

Karva Chauth can also be performed by un married girls, just a bit differently. Instead of looking at the moon, the fast is broken by seeing the first star, hence it is simpler comparitvly!!!

Teejri, which is performed by the Sindhi's is very similar to Karva Chauth but a bit simpler. Liquids are allowed after a certain hour.

Now-a-days some people have liquids after the Pooja since it becomes very tough, but that is not the actual custom

Gtg now, Mom breaking her fast...get to eat meethi mathi 😆

Sanam its the thought(dil ke mandir me) that count. Anyway pati ko toh bhuka nahi rakhti, veg or non-veg........

lol yes first yr i did think chalo karte hai (teej) yaar pati hi mughe khilata hai...he got biscuits n said dont keep fast for my long life tu kha le khale maar jayegi bhookhi😆

Your pati is right you know, me I get stomach cramps from not eating and mine when I fasted ate all the special food that I made not leaving any for me...taught him a lesson, started fasting with just fruit and milk.

Aww soo sweet!! Yeah for Kashmiri's we dont celebrate KC. So we celebrate it at home.. we have our own KC during another time 😆.. so my mama holds the KC at our place.. so when I go home... all the ladies and the music will be playing!! I love it!! 😳

I thought that there were only a handful of us here... but I'm happy to see more! 😃

Anyways, I'm a guy and of course I'm a brahmachaari and so the karva chauth vrat has nothing to do with me... however, that will not stop me from wishing all the ladies who are keeping this fast a very happy karva chauth! 👍🏼

For each married lady, as well as your husband having long life, I pray that even you also have a long life so that you lot can enjoy a long life of togetherness and happiness 😊
