The second season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has Longi Fernandes (Shveta Salve's choreographer and partner last season) as technical consultant, replacing last year's choice, choreographer Sandeep Soparrkar.
Interestingly, this year's celeb-choreographer pairing has several B-Town choreographers in the fray.
"Apart from Bollywood dances, there is hip-hop, Latin American and international dance forms as well," says Longi, as he makes his observations about the new participants.
Tapur Chatterjee – Feroz A Khan
Being a model, Tapur is full of poise; it's evident from her moves. Feroz, an upcoming choreographer, has to make sure her dancing is elegant too. Prachi Desai – Deepak Singh
She is young and bubbly, though as Bani in Kasamh Se she plays a mature woman far beyond her years. Prachi has combined these contrasts in her moves and Deepak, who is a Bollywood choreographer, has to give her the right mix. Mika Singh — Tanushree Rakshit

She's exuberant and outgoing and could prove to be the stunner. Javed's task is to make her moves as pleasing as possible.
Sonali Kulkarni — Tobby Fernandes
Tobby was last year's winning choreographer with Mona Singh. He worked real hard and now he has to go even further to make the actress perform in a neat manner. Sudha Chandran – Uma Shankar
Her Jaipur foot can't stop her. She may be familiar with classical moves, but Uma is into Latin American dances and he has to match his moves with Sudha's spirit. Aadesh Srivastava – Deepa Sachdeva (Tina)
He has loads of energy and despite nursing a fever, he has been at it. Aadesh is a performer and Tina has to make him rock with every step. Mini Mathur – Himendra Singh (Hemu)
As Hemu is a teacher, he has made Mini his student. He has vast experience in professional teaching and Mini could spring a surprise. Cyrus Broacha – Rozita Rajput
Cyrus must have been born talking! He is a non-stop entertainer, but he has actually danced with Rozita without opening his mouth! Jay Bhanushali – Bindi Khare
Bindi was Akashdeep Sehgal's choreographer last year; if she can make him dance to her steps, Jay will be a delight to watch. He is incredible and wants to get everything right. Mir Ranjan Negi – Marischa Fernandes
The hockey coach could well be saying Chak De! to all. He is not from the entertainment world but Marischa and he could crack the goalpost.
