Part 4
A few days passed since Bani met 'Jai', who she concluded as a nice person, with a cute name. According to Pia, a lot of girls, including her would die to be in Bani's position, to be kissed by him (like Jaz, me and the whole of IF), but Bani didn't understand exactly how every girl would know Jai…(poor thing, still doesn't know, she met the great JW).
On one of those days, when Bani was going out to meet with Rano and Pia, the butler informed her that Nishikant asked her to come to office to sign some documents. Even though she said out right no as she had no intentions of ruining her mood by visiting her father, the butler insisted that it was urgent, so she rectulantly agreeded,
Bani was dressed in a white skirt, that was just above her knees and a cute red spaghetti strap blouse. She wore red sandles to match her outfit and casually put on her shades on her head. She put on eye liner and a little lip gloss. She looked beautiful like always, with her waist length hair open and let down.
As Bani walked into the office, everyone greeted her. She returned them cheerfully and bumped into a someone and went crashing onto the floor, but was just caught by a strong hand. After getting her balance, Bani looked up to see a familiar face. He was once again dressed in black, she noted. His hair was gelled back and he had a smile on his face. He was the same person, who she met a few days ago… Jai.
B: I am sorry…
J: its okay..
B: what are you doing here??
J: so you remember me??
B: yeah… and you remember me too
J: how could someone forget a beautiful girl like you…
B: I am really sorry for that day…
J: for what?
B: I didn't mean to drop soup on your girlfriend
J: oh please don't be sorry… infact I was somewhat happy…
B: happy?
J: she is not my girlfriend… and i don't like her either…
B: oh…
J: so, did your boyfriend show up, the other day?
B: boyfriend??
J: yeah… weren't you waiting??
B: oh… I meant, yes, he did show up
J: but I didn't see you come back in
B: we decided to leave and go somewhere else…
J: I see…
Just then the receptionist told Bani that her father was waiting for her and she should leave immediately… Saying goodbye, Bani walked up to her father's cabin. She knew there was going to a fight between them once again… that's how all their talks end up…
N: there you are Bani…
B: why did you call me??
N: I need your signatures
B: for what?
N: I am including you in the board of directors and also the heir of all this property
B: I don't want anything of yours
N: you are my only child
B: and no one regrets it more than me
N: Bani, plzz understand… you have to start taking care of this business
B: I am doing nothing of that sort…
N: then what are you going to do… continue that small show of yours
B: excuse me… but I enjoy what I do… and i am happy with this small show of mine
N: what about your business degree
B: it will be there, where it needs to be…
N: look Bani… I given you everything
B: no… you snatched away my everything…
N: listen to me once…
B: no, you took your decision years ago… and I took mine too… I am NOT taking care of your business… It means nothing to me
N: I am your father Bani
B: no you are not… I don't care what you say or what the world thinks… to me, you are not my father
N: don't say that Bani…
B: I am sorry to say, but I am not going to become a part of this company
N: you don't need to do anything… just sign here and then I will take care of the rest
B: no…
N: come one Bani… stop being so adamant… I am not asking you to give up your life, attend the meeting, working for the company or anything like that… just for legal matters…
Bani had to agree. She quickly signed the papers and left for her appointment with her friends. However, when Bani came out of the building, she saw Jai waiting for her.
J: I was wondering… maybe we could go for a coffee or something….
B: umm… sry, I have to go,…
J: we may not meet again
B: we will, if we have to…
J: okay then… if you say so… enjoy your day…
B: you too… bye
Saying that Bani left. She somewhat felt disappointed to refuse such a sweet offer, but hey, what can she do. Pia, for one will kill her. But she was very much wrong. They were at a caf, when Bani recounted her encounter with Jai, Pia was very much disappointed at the fact that she turned him down.
P: you could have said yes
B: how could i… we were suppose to meet
P: you can meet us any old time… but going out with such a handsome hunk, is a once in a lifetime chance
B: but, what about your guys
P: we can wait but he can't
B: you are acting as if Jai and me know each other… we just met once…
R: twice
B: what ever… besides, I can't keep you guyz waiting…
P: still… it was a good offer… you shouldn't have rejected…
B: can we drop it… we met twice and I am sure he will forget me… cause I forgotten about him…
R: but, you do like him… don't you??
B: please Rano… I just said, nice name… that doesn't mean, I like him or love him
P: stop lieing, it says clearly on your face
B: what?
R: that you like him…
B: shut up both of you… so what happened to our trip??
R: oh yeah we are going… but not international, I can only come for a few days
P: why?
R: because of a boring wedding and I can't say no
B: so where are we going?
P: not goa, we went there last year…
B: Ooty or Mt. Abu??
R: Mt. Abu…
B: okay fine, done…
P: but, won't your dad
B: when did I listen to him?
Pia kept quiet, not wanting to upset Bani. It was common knowledge between the trhee friends that Bani detested her father, and both Pia and Rano, didn't talk about that matter. They cared for their friend, and didn't want to see her hurt. So even if she was wrong, they would be with her.
R: Bani, just tell him…
B: okay fine…
The rest of the day passed on with a lot of fun and masti…However, the CEO of the Walia Industries was not able to concentrate on anything else. As the staff wondered what happened to the arrogant and egoistic business tycoon, Jai immersed himself in the thoughts of the only one he could think about… Bani Dixit.
As the person of his dreams, was off enjoying with her friends, Jai was restless through the whole day, not able to concentrate of his meetings. His two best friends, Pushkar and Ranveer, also his nephews, noticed the change in their mamaji… he was calm and quiet, which was very unusal to see in office as he would always be seen yelling at his employees.
Pushkar and Ranveer joked about Jai falling for a girl, when Adi brushed both of them off and instructed them to work seriously. Adi had been Uday's friend, and when he passed away, he took care of Jai and helped him through his hard ships. Even if there was a huge age difference between both Jai and Adi, both of them seem like two good friends. And any day, Adi would pick Jai over his two sons.
They shared a relationship, that cannot be explained in words. Only Adi knew, what Jai had to go through, when his father passed away. He was the only one who lent his shoulder to the man, who devoted himself to his family and to his father's last dying wishes. If anyone knew Jai more than himself, it would be Adi. And Jai looked up to Adi, as a friend, father and mentor.
Adi pushed open Jai's office door, to find him deep in thoughts. He cleared his throat rather loudly and Jai snapped back into the present.
J: what is it Adi?
A: what happened? Pushkar and Ranveer were talking about you falling for a girl or something
J: you know they talk nonsense Adi…
A: yeah, but looking at you, it seems as if they are talking sense…
J: I am fine, did you wat something
A: who is she?
J: who?
A: the one who made Jai Walia fall into the trap of love…
J: Adi!! Not even you… Pushkar and Ranveer ate my brains
A: I won't eat your brains, tell me…
J: Bani… Bani Dixit…
A: Nishikant Dixit's daughter?
J: yes…
A: do you think he will agree for the marriage…
J: come on, I don't even know if she likes me, and you are going to marriage…
A: come off it… after year you liked a girl, Massi won't let this chance go out of hand
J: you are not telling Massi… she will assume something out of something else
A: she wont assume anything, I will tell her truth
J: forget it Adi… she probably won't even remember me…
Just then Pushkar and Ranveer walked in, grinning.
P: so whats up mamaji…
R: found your girl, finally… we thought you will be bachelor for the rest of your life
P: well thank god you approved someone, atleast our line is clear…
J: shut up you two…
P: okay fine no jokes
R: tell us Jai, how does she look like?
J: who?
P: if you don't tell us na, we will find out…
A: stop irritating him
R: you always support him dad… not fair
A: he is a much better son than you two anyway
P & R: HEY!!
Jai laughed. It was so funny to see Pushkar, Ranveer and Adi fighting over the fact that Adi always supports Jai.
P: okay fine, give us a treat atleast…
J: okay, I will think about it…

i no, it was sorta pointless, but it was to say that Jai is already inlove with Bani... and Bani, well, she doesn't want to accept... the next part, will be better... now for your comments...
