Chapter 10

Sahil at this point had come back to get his brother!

Sahil: Rano?

Rano turned at that voice, it was clearly visible whose voice that could be, turning slightly.

Sahil: Rano? Again he managed walking faster towards her

Jai turned from Sahil and than Rano, to Sahil, that was it, it finally hit him. Everything fell in place! He remembered everything.

Rano left Jai and turning slowly in total shock: Sahil? she whispered. And than her soft lines turned hard and cold staring back at him, "what are you doing here?" Her eyes were cold as hell and all she wanted to was slap him hard on his face.

Sahil: I

Jai: wait Sahil isn't this the girl who left you for more money, who ditched you at a time when you most needed her, isn't this the girl who

Rano: what? Rano turned to Sahil, is this what you told your entire family Mr Sahil Kapoor Walia. Huh is that your real name even?

Sahil: listen to me RAno.

Rano: listen to what

Jai: Sahil, he was mad as hell and getting more confused?

Rano: you know each other, wait Jai Walia, Sahil Walia, you two are related. All of a sudden it hit Rano, oh My God gasping holding her chest with one hand, turning to look at Jai. I had thought that Sahil was the lowest man I had ever known but you, oh My God, you are worse than scum on this very planet, both of you are just, oh God!

Jai: Rano I

Rano: you married Bani because you knew she was related to me didn't you. You married her to take revenge on me on something that your evil brother cooked up. How disgusting and low are you people. Rano wanted to vomit.

Rano: Sahil I understand that you left me for your own selfish reasons but why would you lie about it. Look what you have done. Her hands in air!

Sahil: Bani bhabi is your sister? I swear I didn't know.

Jai: looked from one to the other and felt sick to his stomach. Could Rano be right, did he get everything wrong, had he been so unfair to Bani!

A nurse had approached them: excuse me please but this is a hospital and your voices are way too high and are disturbing other patients, so if you please don't mind indicating to them that they had to leave.

Jai: we need to talk, but not here!

Rano: I cannot talk now and as a matter of fact I don't want to, I am sick and disgusted with you and your entire family. Your whole ethics about human behavior makes me want to puke. I have to go.

Sahil: Rano?

Jai: let her go Sahil, let her cool down, I need to talk to you, lets go!

Jai drove from the hospital to their hotel where they were residing until there was some news on Bani. He needed a shower first, Jai entered the shower and letting the water run just stood there, maybe the water would help calm his nerve:

2 years back!

It had to be 2 in the morning when Sahil had ringed the door bell. Jai had just got back from New York finishing up what was the last of his deals and had just gotten into bed.

Clearing his eyes "who the hell can it be at this hour?" rubbing his eyes he went to the door as he had dismissed everyone until the next morning, and opened it looking at a drunk Sahil crying on his door steps. "Sahil what the bloody hell?"

Sahil: bhaia she has left me, he stunk of alcohol and Jai had to look away when Sahil spoke, looked like he was on drugs as well. Pulling him inside, "what he bloody hell Sahil?" "what are you doing?"

Sahil was crying holding his brother, "bhaia Rano ne anymore," She doesn't want me anymore, I don't want to live bhaia, I love her!

He had collapsed.

Jai: Sahil? SAhil? Oh God dammit Sahil?

Sahil had apparently been drinking all night, and not only alcohol but drugs as well. After admitting him in the hospital, Jai found out that he had been on it for sometime and that his was a very critical case and he needed to be in rehab to get over this. The doctors had seen this as the only way out and told Jai as best as they could.

Jai had been pissed as he had been the center of attraction for the whole media and everybody had put out crap in the news, TV, magazines you name it, everything talked about the younger Walia and his affair with some unknown girl. Jai was someone who avoided media like it was a disease. And now because of this girl not only was his brother messed up and a wreck but his family name was on the line.

Ignoring the doctor's advice, Jai had brought Sahil home trying to cure him on his own but nothing helped. If he was asleep Sahil would find his way to alcohol, either stealing money from his brother or running away in the car. It was after several weeks that Jai had finally decided that rehab it was. It created a lot of pain and conflict in the family including affecting his business a lot. He needed time for SAhil which meant taking time away from business, he wasn't upset about that because money wasn't any issue but business was precious to him and all this for a mere girl. He was going to make sure that he get hold of whoever did this and make sure she pay for it!

It had taken Jai to finally track down information on Rano. She had apparently moved away from where her and Sahil had resided so he didn't get any information on her, but what he got was far more important useful. He had found a baby sister that Rano adored and loved more than anything. Apparently after moving away from home Bani Dixit was the only other family member that was close and still in contact with Rano, interesting! She was here in Delhi in college finishing her degree program.

Jai had checked every information out on her, her likes, her dislikes, everything. His brother was suffering for someone else than why her sister can't suffer as well. He had wooed his way into Bani's life, soon winning her love and proposed marriage.

She was was full of life, fun and adventurous. Her personality was one that every guy would want to have in their woman. Men don't like listening but with her, you could hear her talk all day. There were days when he had to admit for a few moments he used to forget the reason he was with her. She was indeed a beautiful person. But he had to remind him self to not get deceived by looks and personality if one sister can cause such destruction, the other would be capable as much!

She had looked so beautiful on their wedding day; never could a woman shine so much in deep red. He always used to wonder what effect would haldi have on a person but after seeing Bani on that day, he knew it.

Jai was never into marriage, it was never a thing for him and so he did it. It was no big deal until he had thrown Bani out of his life. To this date he remembered clearly each and every detail, each and every emotion flickering on her face. Every day her teary shocked face haunted him. The guilt in his heart for hurting her that way wouldn't leave him. It was supposed to be easy right. Get her to fall in love with him, than leave her so she could hurt. In return her sister could hurt, could feel the paid he did when he saw his brother. To see what it feels like but it did more than just that? Why was he hurting?

Their wedding night was one he didn't imagine it to be. It was just perfect, like caressing a goddess to perfection! Bani had given everything to him, her heart, her body and her soul. What did he do, he beat the crap out of it. He kept telling himself that it didn't matter and he was doing this for a purpose and he did the exact same thing. Than why did it haunt him?

The day of the accident he had it rough. One of his managers had leaked some information out to the public, which turned out to be false and he had been working hard all day. It was at the conference that he came across one of Bani friends from college who had started talking to him about her good qualities and how he was so lucky. He was returning home and all he could see were visions of Bani coming in front of him. That one horrid look of shock when he had said those biting words!

The turn on his right was a stupid move, his mind wasn't with him and the last thing he remembered shouting was Bani's name when he had collapsed in pools of blood. That is the only reason he kept ranting her name when he was unconscious and God knows maybe that's why she came back. Aditya had been smart; Bani did help him recover fast. It was like a hope for getting better as soon as, but what now?

The hot water felt good as Jai turned the temperature one notch again. It was steaming hot but he needed it to calm his nerves. Finally out of the shower he was ready to talk to Sahil and sort this out once and for all.

But first things first, calling the hospital to see if there was any progress.

Chapter 11

Bani was stable and the doctors were trying the nurse had told him. 'what do you mean trying dammit, I want results, and nothing but positive result. Cool down Jai, whats all this anger for, hold on, nothing will happen to Bani, there are so many unresolved issues and without her you cannot do it.

Sahil: bhaia?

Jai: ha Sahil come in, pulling his chair and seating himself infront of his brother
