Bani sighed, after she had returned from home, she had seen Jai & Roshni's photograph in one of the magazine that her roommate subscribed….it was Jai Walia's birthday celebration and his loving wife had organized a super duper party to celebrate the same, they looked fabulous together and the date was the day after she had got married to Jai Walia…

Jai leaned against the back of his chair, Ma has just informed that Bani has left from the hostel and is on her way to their house…he sighed, he hated himself to unable to resist Ma's blackmailing and getting into her trap, she said she never wanted anything in her life from him and this is what he can do atleast for her…moreover as it was also what Roshni wanted …Jai was sure he agreed because he was intoxicated…but then what is done is done, Roshni seemed to be least bothered, she has seen their photograph, quite young Jai but then good for breeding isn't it…Jai hated the idea…
The door of his cabin opened…it was Aditya his brother in law…

Aaj Bani a rahi hai, her exams over
So you should be rejoicing Jai, your bride no.2 will be with you in no time….

Because I am jealous, Mr Jai Walia, ek nehi do do, I envy your luck Jai and it was not for your sister Jigyasa I would have also tried something like that lekin unfortunately she is not so big hearted as Roshni…
Oh come on Aditya don't even dare to do that, you will have to deal with me first if you ever do that….
There you go Jai, possessive brother of a possessive sister, I wonder what was wrong with Bani's parents when they allowed her to get married…
I guess they did not have a choice…Ma must have forced them….

No I don't think so, Ma never allows her family to take any undue advantages, infact she did not want her family members working for me or for the company, she is very strict, she knows where to draw the line….
Aditya agreed, yes Dai Ma loved Jigyasa and Jai un-conditionally. Infact she has become a member of the house, but she knows her place, she organizes everything, runs the house like a clock work at the same time does not come in the front, she lets Roshni and Jigyasa take all the credit. Though she has the keys to the family chest, she only takes what is necessary giving Jai all details of the expenditure, Jai though never wanted to know and has given free hand to do everything she feels like but as Jai said she knew where to draw the line, so when she asked Jai to get married for her sake, Jai understandably could not refuse…..
Aditya got up, I have an appointment Jai, anyway brother-in-law, all the best to you, whatever it might be, I am not sure whether I would like to be in your shoes…

Bani entered the house wide eyed, yes she had seen it in photographs that Buaji got time to time during her visits but this was something different….she waited at the main door and noted the surroundings, till buaji pushed her into the house….
Aja beti….thak gayi hogi…baith ja, she ordered the servant to serve a nimbu pani...Jai abhi office se ata hi hoga…
Tu ne akhir apne dosto ko bataya apne shaadi ke bare me…
Nehi buaji, we were busy with exams, mauka nehi mila...Bani turned her face away...buaji nodded she is still looking upset, well she will take sometime to get used to it….after all it is not one of those normal marriages….
Chal Bani tera room dikha deti hu, tu fresh ho le, just then the phone rang, Buaji picked it up...
Ha bolo roshni, keya dinner appointment…lekin Roshni, Bani ayi hai, kam se kam Munna ko toh idhar hona chahiye….ha mai janti hu, Bani kahi nehi ja rahi hai, lekin ….theek hai, jaisa tum theek samjho….
Bua looked upset, Bani quietly released a sigh of relief….
Bua aap mujhe mere kamra dikha dijiye, thak gayi hoo kiyuki itna din theek se sow nehi payi…Bani said it a little hesitantly…
Ha Bani, ayo mere saath…She took Bani to a room at the end of passage on the first floor…it was a beautiful room, in the fading day lights Bani could see two views, one side the gate and the other the lawn, the room was self content with all the latest gadgets, LCD T.V, music system etc., Bani waited for her Bua to finish instructing the butler where to put her luggage…Bauji mai baki kar loongi…
Mai janti hu beti…theek hai….tu jara fresh ho le aur mai tere liye dinner lati hu, ek saath kha lenge idhar…
Idhar….
Ha beta, Munna aur Roshni kab lautengi kuch theek nehi, aaj idhar kha lete kiyuki tu thak gayi hai…Bua went out…
Bani opened the cupboard, they were already filled with saris mainly and few churidar kurtas, night dresses, no western clothes, well it must be Bua's choice of clothes then, but Bani found it to be very tasteful, she quickly opened her suitcase and took out her clothes, kept her jeans and skirts behind the saris….opened the bathroom, very modern and beautiful, Bani had her bath, wore one of the night dresses and came out of see, Buaji with a servant pushing the trolley with their dinner…
After dinner, buaji rang the servant to clear the place, waits for him to leave then informs that they have their breakfast at 8 o'clock…beta ready ho jana, breakfast hum saath lete hai….
Buaji followed, Bani closed the door and locked it….she was about to make herself comfortable on the bed with the T.V remote in her had when she heard a knock….Bani opened it to find Buaji standing….beta darwaja lock maath kar, Munna ayega toh…woh keya sochega, darr maath tujhe raat ko koi aur parishani nehi karenge…
Bani's face turned red, oh so Mr Jai Walia wants easy access to her room, she thought while closing the door as softly as possible, not wanting to hear anymore of buaji 's 'pravachans' she had enough for one day…

Bani, Bani, buaji was shaking her, uth uth, der ho raha hai….beta, Bani sat up with a jerk, keya hai Buaji….she asked as she tried to get her orientation….
Beta uth, taiyyar ho le aur theek 15 minute me niche a jana, breakfast ke liye…
Bani jumps out…
Aur Bani, pink ya blue sari pahenna, Munna ko yeh rang bahut pasand hai…
Sari….
Ha beta….Buaji leaves…
Bani stands for a while making a face…well what is the use of grumbling, its sari so better hurry up as wearing it will take time…

Bani alongwith Bua and the butler push the breakfast trolley into the terrace. The weather was beautiful, Bani saw Jai in his night suit reading a paper, Roshni sitting next to him, still in her flimsy nighty, untidy hair….
Oh hai Bani, Roshni greeted her….
Hello, Bani answered softly,,
Jai Walia removed the paper from his front, Kaise ho Bani, kaise huwa tumhara exams…
Ji theek huwa, Bani glanced fleetingly at the man who is supposed to be her husband and the thought he might enter her room in the night kept her awake half the night till she fell into a disturbed sleep.
She helped Bua to serve the breakfast, Bua making Bani handover the plate to Jai Walia much to her discomfort but she noticed Roshni was least bothered, eating her breakfast, summing yesterday's party, while he was agreeing to some of her points, contradicting some at the same time listening to Buaji even….Bani felt left out…
