Jai Walia was a man who did not believe in love, well so the media speculated. Whenever the camera flash went off, it was only to capture the dashing man, with his arm casually draped over a young model's bare shoulders. At every event party he turned up at, he was accompanied by a new female friend, who usually wore close to nothing. The newspapers loved to poke fun at his love live, often calling him "A knight of shining stone", a man who never stood by one woman long enough to marry, as he just could not love. Oh, but how wrong they were, the man did love…and that too, deeply. Jai had been in love with his best friend for the last ten years, but had lost hope of ever finding her, and therefore had quenched his manly needs by his female fan following.
Flashback- 10 years ago.

Jai is 20
"Dance with me" he whispered, his voice tingling at her senses, causing shivers to envelope her body. Even when she was mad at him, his voice, so soft and husky…was enough…enough, to make her forget.
"N..no Jai"
But before, she could protest, he had grabbed her frail body in a possessive grip, crushing her chest to his. As they danced to the slow rhythmic beat of the music, his fingers trailed a path of intense fire down her naked back, his hoarse voice whispering gently in her ear, making her shiver and arc her back involuntarily. His tongue played tricks on her neck, causing goose bumps to erupt, his breath hot and sensuous.
"Baneee I want you…"
Jai drew her head back, raking his hands gently through her hair, and kissed her, his lips playing gently with hers as she groaned.
"I am going to miss you so much" he drawled, his lips moving to plant soft butterfly kisses along her jaw line.
"I'm…not" she murmured, her voice wobbling and sounding unconvincing to her own ears.
He chuckled, allowing his lips, to trail lower down, to her shoulder.
"Say it again…I dare you" he hushed, his voice laced with mockery
"F…fine…I…I am…nn…I am going to miss you so much"
He laughed again; his lips moving to her ear making the rumble vibrate through her body, his teeth nibbling gently on her earlobe.
"You can't lie to save your life can you…Baneeee" He mused, looking down at her beautiful face.
"Damn you Jai Kapur…Damn you"
"It's not nice to say rude things to your friends….especially your boyfriend" He mused, his teeth biting playfully at her skin, in punishment.
"Please…don't leave." She whispered, her voice betraying the tears she had been holding in all night, her fingers digging into his arm muscles.
Jai stared at the woman he loved, but said nothing in response to her plea. It broke his heart…but he had to go.
"H…Here, I want you to have this…as long as you love me…think of me, wear this. I don't know if we'll meet again…but I…I" he trailed off, unable to say what he most wanted to. His hand slipped from her shoulder, to his jacket and pulled out a silver charms bracelet- each charm had been especially made to show the different things she liked.
In small letters "Bani, I love you…J.W.K." was engraved, but she would never know what it said, till she put it up to the light.
End of flashback- 10 years go

The feeling of shock infuriated his senses, digging deep into every cell, till he stood paralysed, his hand clutching tightly to her wrist. Never had he in so many years felt so hopelessly lost. It seemed like hours, before he managed to muster the strength to allow his finger muscles to move, pulling the young woman's beloved trinket to his hungry eyes.
Bani….
