First of all Wishing all of you a Very Happy New Year!! May this year bring you good health, happiness, and peace!

Ok... I'd like to apologize for disappearing all of a sudden though some of you may know that i've been (still am) in India for the past month or so, and will be leaving soon which explains my absence..i've missed writing and reading all the lovely ff's around here. If i get some time later on today i'll post a small part tonight else will just resume once i get back home. Sorry once again for holding up on this for so long! Hey Everyone, so sorry for disappearing for so long i apologize. There has been a lot happening in my family lately which kept me away, but now as things are settling i thought of continuing from where i left this story that is if anyone is still interested else i'll close this one. Also, i'd like to say a special thank you to all of those people who've pm'd me expressing their concern and those who prayed for my family.

Part 17

Bani sat there praying that nothing will happen to Jai, else how was she ever to face the family that treated her like a daughter. Within few minutes the Walia family arrived at the hospital, going through the halls they found a glum Bani sitting looking at the wall in front of her. Going near her Krishna held her face "Bani" Bani looked at her and held on to her tightly freely letting go of her tears.

Uday: Bani kya hua Jai ko, what happened.

Bani unable to look into his eyes looked down 'Uncle woh Jai ko OT meh le ker gaye hain..kafi der ho gayi per koi kuch batata hi nahi ki woh kaisa hai, sub meri wajeh se hua hai yeh sab meri galti hai.. Ma Jai theek toh ho jayega na.. meh khud ko kabhi maaf nahi kar sakungi agar usse kuch hogaya..

Krishna: Jai ko kuch nahi hoga samjhi na tu, aaur yeh kya laga rakha hai teri galti hai, isme teri koi galti nahi hai bacche aaur meh jaanti hoon mere bte ko kuch nahi hosakta. Anu stood in the back trying hard to control her tears, knowing well that her tears would weaken her mother and her best friend she put up a smile and sat next to Bani…

Anu: Bani dekh ab tu rona band ker warna dekh meh bhi ro dungi aaur meh roti hui bilkul aachi nahi lagti aaur phir mera makeup bhi kharab ho jayega… Bani smiled through her tears.

Anu put an arm around her 'don't worry Bhai ko kuch nahi hoga, tera pyaar unki raksha karega.' A tear slid down her face, yes she did love him more than her life and God forbid if something happened to him she wouldn't be able to live either.

Just then Bani heard her name, looking up she saw Dr. Muskan standing in front of her with a smile on her face. Bani got up "Doctor Jai Jai theek to hoh hai na? How is he doing now? Sab theek toh hai na" she asked in one breath. Smiling Dr. Muskan held Bani's hands "Bani the operation was successful he is doing just fine, Bani sighed with relief a huge burden was lifted off her chest.

Dr. Muskan: magar

Krishna: Magar kya doctor?

Dr.Muskan: aap?

Krishna; meh Jai ki Ma

Dr. Muskan: Oh I see, well Mrs. Walia your son is doing better now, he has been shifted into the ICU for monitoring as he had internal bleeding which we have been able to control, now we just want to monitor his condition so we'll have to keep him in observation for some time. Also, he has suffered multiple fractures, so he'll need a lot of care which I don't see as a problem, his wife should be able to take care of most things but if needed we can arrange for a nurse upon discharge. At the mention of wife they all looked up at the doctor while Bani looked down her cheeks showed a light tint of red in them.

Uday: doctor apko koi galatfami hui hai Jai is not married yet

Dr. Muskan: oh, fir Bani, I thought she is his wife giving her a side glance, anyways, meh sirf yeh batane aaye thi ki now he is stable and aap log thori der meh Jai se mil sakte hain.

Everyone thanked God that he was doing well now, Bani: Ma meh abhi aye. She went behind the doctor.

Anu: Mom you ok na.

Krishna: Jai theek hai toh meh bhi theek hoon, bas ab mera beta jaldi se theek hoker ghar aa jaye.

Anu: haan Ma bhaiya jaldi ghar aa jayenge, per usse pehle mujhe uss unwanted package koh ghar se nikalna hai, I don't want to see her in our house again, she has to leave.

Krishna: tu theek keh rahi hai Anu, per kya hume Jai se ek baar baat karni chaiyeh

Anu: No Mom, Bhai se isss bare meh kuch baat karne ki zaroorat nahi hai, usne jitna bura karna tha woh kar chuki hai aab meh apne bhai ko uske chaker meh phasne nahi dungi, in her head she thought aab bhaiya aaur Bani ke beech meh uss churail ko nahi ane dungi chahe kuch bhi hojaye.

Dr. Muskan: Bani don't worry maine kaha na sub theek hai

Bani: Doctor meh phir se sunna chahti thi ki sub theek hai, agar kuch bhi ho toh aap please mujse mat chupayeh.

Dr. Muskan : Bahut pyaar karti ho na

Bani: Jee

Dr. Muskan: jee… you love Jai a lot don't you

Bani: looked down, slightly nodding her head.

Dr. Muskan: toh phir chinta kyun karti ho, tumhara pyaar hai na uske saath, usse kuch kasie ho sakta hai, then after a pause usse milna chahogi?

Bani: haan per apne toh kaha tha thori der baad

Dr. Muskan: kaha toh tah magar agar tum promise karo ki itni sad si shakal nahi banaogi toh meh tumhe abhi thori der ke liye usse milwa sakti hoon.

Bani gave her a bright smile

Dr. Muskan: that's more like it

Bani: Thanks doctor

'Muskan'

Bani: hmm?

Dr. Muskan: Call me Muskan extending a hand to her. Come with me, she took Bani to the ICU, telling the nurse to let Bani go in for a bit she left.

Bani went where Jai was laying down, lots of machines attached to him, keeping a track of his vitals, an oxygen mask over his nose, his right arm was bandaged, while his leg was plastered, it killed her seeing him like that knowing well that she was responsible for his condition she wanted to take away all his hurt. Gently putting her hand on his forehead she stroked it slowly looking at him at the same time.

A little later the nurse interrupted her "Mam its time, I'll have to ask you to leave"

Bani: yes, just a minute and the nurse left. Bani bent down and kissed his eyes and forehead, and wishpered in his ears "Jai jaldi se theek ho jao meh tumhe aise nahi dekh sakti." Stroking his head one last time she went out of the ICU, towards the waiting hall.

Hey its soo good to see ure back.. and im glad to hear ure problems are slowly being sorted out.. just hang in there and im sure everything will be better soon :)
I love this fanfic and am so glad ure back to writing it . Thanks... cant wait for jai to wake up. His and Bani's relationship is just starting out and im sure ull portray it beautifully 😊
