If RR can do it, why not RK???

According to RK's interview he was fed up playing JW's role so he opted for Thakral's role in KSBT. I can agree with RK that he must be pissed of at NB for butchering JW role. But why should the KS viewers suffer coz of ekta and NB's incompetence to run the KS show. RK is justified in doing another role but he should stick to KS also.

There was a time when RR used to do multiple roles as mihir in KSBT and bajaj in KASAUTI.... but he never made excuses to use body doubles to perform his roles. Even now as mihir and AD there are no body doubles used.

But when it comes to RK, why are body doubles used. If RK cannot perform both roles at the same time, why did he opt for KSBT???. Why betray the KS fans for his dream to work with his wife Gautam???

This is not fair at all. He should be competent enough to perform both the roles.

Again if ronit roy can do it. Ram Kapoor can also do it. Please Ram do not ditch KS fans just to be with your wife!!!!!

Make sure you are physically present in both the shows.
We hate to see body doubles. The soul of KS is missed a lot!!!!!

Yep-- its us who are fed up- I dont think he would every say that he is fed up of playing JW! True he may not like what Basil has done to his character.. but he still loved JW because he helped to create it!

i recently saw his interview on Zoom and he said that he is very exited about Thakral but JW is alwayas close to him and he never left JW.

and yes i agree that RK should give attention both roles equally.

i dont remember reading it anywhere that he was FED UP of playing Jai Walia.
he has always considered KS as his baby and JW is surely one of the brightest characters that he played, is what he has been restating.

i agree that RK is not present in both the roles physically but i guess we are the wrong people to make comparisons between RK and RR.

first of all, when RR started playing Mihir, he was replacement and his character was one of the entire lot which Kyonki boast about, which is not the case with JW. JW is the main character and not one of a lot which must be needing more time, more dedication and jampacked schedules.

Bajaj again was One of the main characters. The story has always been about Prerna-Anurag where Bajaj played The third angle so it is nothing great that he can play both roles together without body doubles.

RR do not have any bollywood inclinations nor does he have any projects on hand but RK do have them which might be needing some of his time...

I am not justifying RK's absense on the show as i want to see him back as JW any day but this comparison is very unfair for both the actors..

I agree that RK should not have accepted Thakral as JW needs majority of his time but the way his character was butchered by NB, i wonder who would nt want to portray a powerful and different role.

Again we can not be sure about his interest in kyonki being there for his wife. Thakral was conceived well before Gautami's entry. in fact it was the role of tulsi which took a lot to find replacement for as there were many yesteryear actresses considered for the role.

i think RK is being a true professional. if both of his roles are handled maturely by the creative team, he can fair well in both.

its the problem with creatives that they are making him concentrate more on Thakral as it needs to be established. i really wonder how much say can a actor have in all these matters, even if you are Ram Kapoor!

Actually after seeing the amount of screentime that RK is getting on KS for the last ten days I feel as tho he's doing a cameo for KS and not Kyunki. In yesterday's episode he was barely there for 2 minutes in the entire 18-19 minute timespan. A glimpse of him at the beginning and another at the end!!! And he was not there in Kyunki either, which doesn't air on Fridays. Where is RK?? I really do feel he's not going to be able to do justice to both the roles- I mean body doubles are so noticeable.KS is being given the short shrift in favour of Kyunki and I'm surprised Zee is allowing it to happen.

You can be a bit polite while writing your opinions just the way others are!! i have never demeaned RR even when ADians were busy glorifying him and Jbians were busy pulling him down.

he is an actor and should be respected for what job he is doing BUT others being compared with him for the wrong scale is something i cant relate with.

RR might have had a film opportunity but as HE said on Koffee with Karan that he have not been offered any films for Substancial Role for past few years since he has joined TV, speaks much better about his opportunities in films than any published articles.

i did not speak RUBBISH about any characters. Mihir Virani WAS The lead in KSBKBT some five years back when Amar Upadhyay was playing it. the moment he opted out, the character has been butchered and scissored like never before.

for past one and half years, character of Mihir Virani is nothing but One of The Lot. KSBKBT has such a big gang of characters that his absense can be easily justified when he is working for another serial which is not the case with Jai walia.

Bajaj entered KZK as a third angle..(whether you like it or not, accept the truth) after some time, it was turned into full fledged role but if you can go back and watch those episodes again, you will find that his presence was well coordinated between both the serials he was doing.

what i wanted to say is simple ...that dont compare RR and RK. they are two different actors playing different characters.

As far as I remember reading / listening to interviews of balaji actors ... they usually opt for only BT serials (apart from its uh .. popularity)bcuz I hav heard that its
easier for them to do serials for the same production house
bcuz well they dont have to worry about how to accomodate more serials into their already jam-packed schedule .. the production house takes care of their er...time table (or whtever u call it )
So I dont think its RK's call to use body doubles ..also I find it unfair to compare RR and RK ...
no offense but kyunki has lyk sum 25-30 member cast .. and it is easier to cover up mihir/RR's absence from that show bcuz they can easily show some other track without the trps dropping , but they cant do the same wid kasam se since the show is ABOUT Jai , bani , Pia and Rano .. and I am sure ppl are not interested in watching the clone factory !

though the show was publicised to be abt story of three sisters ... i feel that Jai has been at the centerstage more than the "three sisters" ... whether it was the jai-pia-pushy triangle , or jb luv story or jbp "triangle" or his numerous raazes ..
Heck , he is the kreative's tool to continue/drag the story !!!
