Hi Guys.. Thanks for your patience! I'm so sorry for the delay! Our first full week back and i already have 2 tests next week and lots of hwk to complete!! But Ive completed this update.. Haven't proof read so if there;s a major blooper please let me know!

Bani did not understand why she was crying.. again Pushkar had to comfort her.

Bani sighed. It was very quiet all of a sudden. She was sitting in the garden and reading a book. Before had she attempted, squeals of excitement form the children, Massi making something in the kitchen and the chatter of Jai and Pushkar would disturb her. But now, there was just silence. And she hated it.
Who would've thought that the person who once lived in slience would now hate. She wanted the constant noise and the chatter. She dropped the book and the held her head in her hands. She wanted the little fights with Jai, someone to look after her.
She remembered how he had taken care of her when she was ill, she wanted that! She didn't want to live alone anymore. Tears pricked her eyes and she brushed them away angrily. There was no use crying now. She was the one who had broken his heart, so why was she the one crying?
She remembered the conversation she had heard between the children and Pushkar just before they left…
Flashback
'ok bacchon, be good alright? Don't trouble your papa too much.' Pushkar's voice broke. He was so attached to the children. He would make sure that when he was married they had lots of kids.. (sorry couldn't resist lol…😆)
The children nodded and then looked at him.
'What happened?' he asked.
'You said Bani aunty was now our mummy'
'Yes..'
'Why isn't she coming?'
'Because she has some work to do here but she will come very soon, OK? She wants to surprise your Papa.'
The children nodded happily, content with the excuse.
End
Bani's heart soared as she remembered how happiness had erupted within her when she heard Krishna call her 'mummy'.
This was enough! She stood up abruptly and walked inside. She knew what she had to do.

It had been 4 days since they had arrived back in Mumbai, and he had unsuccessfully tried to block Bani out of his mind. The children helped, him forget about Bani. They were so excited, telling all their friends, family and anyone who would listen, about their trip. And then each night, they would sleep with him and re-count all their experiences, at the zoo, the picnic, etc.
They never got tired of talking about their time with Bani and Pushkar! Mausi was also living with them for a while, since she didn't get to spend time with the children, as she had to come to Mumbai, Jai had asked her to stay back.
Mausi was very busy these days. Her Munna's birthday was coming up and though he did not want any fuss over this, Mausi was not the one to listen. She was going to celebrate her Munna's 32nd birthday in a grand style.
The atmosphere of Walia Mansion was filled with excitement as the preparations were made.

It was Jai's birthday today and he woke up to find the children jumping on his bed,
'Happy Birthday Papa…' they screamed.
He gave them a big grin and thanked them with a big kiss on their cheeks. Without saying anything they ran out again, leaving Jai confused.
Krishna, followed by Arthva came back inside, jumped onto the bed and lay either side of him.
'Yeh, aap ke liye' (This is for you)
Jai took sat up in bed and took the gift. While opening it, he saw Krishna and Arthva's eyes shining brightly.
The last of the wrapper came off, and Jai looked at his present. The children stared at him in anticipation, waiting for him to say something.
First, his expression was shocked, and then a big grin came over his face! He chuckled and engulfed his children in a big bear hug.
'Thank you'
He could feel his eyes tearing up, what would he ever do without his precious two?
He looked at he gift again, it was a tie: a Looney Tunes tie. He thought abut where he would wear it to. He couldn't wear a tie at home, that looked odd, and wouldn't wear it to business parties or the office, he was sure people would make a mockery out of him!
(here;s the tie!)
The children looked delighted at the fact that their father loved their gift!
Jai told them to go and get ready for school and he would see them off, while he got ready for office. The children ran to where Massi was waiting in their room, so she could help them get dressed. Again Jai, remembered Bani…They had been doing ever since he'd come back
He dismissed his thoughts with a sigh and continued to get dressed. He made his way downstairs where everyone wished him a 'Happy Birthday'.
After a having a feast for breakfast, made by Mausi, he left for office. But as he got out of the hcair, Massi voice stopped him, 'Kahan jaa raha hai, Munna?' (where are you going?)
'Office!'
'Aaj kahin nahi jaye ga… tera janamdin hai, ghar pay rahega hum sab ke saath' (You're not going anywhere, today is your birthday so you will stay at home with us')
The children look up at Massi, delighted. Day off school! Yes!!
Jai looks at their grins and slightly shakes his head, 'No! you both are going to school..' Their faces fall, their eyes pleading with their father. But Jai knew they were goingto turn on their charm.
'No.. sorry guys… no missing school…' The children rejectedly pick up their school bags and make their way to the car, grumbling and whining at the injustice! Jai chuckled at their antics and followed them to the car, so he could drop them off at the nursery.
Just before leaving, he got a strict warning from Massi, not to even think about taking a detour on the way to the nursery or on the way back and go pop in to the office! Jai promised he would do neither!

The whole day passed in a blur, everyone was home, so Jai was entertained throughout the day and the amount of phone calls he received, he was sure he had the imprint of the phone on his left ear.
It was nearing 2 in the afternoon and Jai was waiting for Arthva and Krishna to come back from nursery, Massi had gone to pick them up.
The children burst through the front door and ran to greet Jai, each hugging one leg. 'Hello, how was your day?' Jai greeted them warmly as they made their way to his room, so they could change.
The children were extra hyper and cheery today, Jai wondered why?? Usually they were quite tired, changed quickly and watched TV. But today, Jai had a hard time, getting them dressed. They were in a cheeky mood, especially Arthva, who wouldn't stand still in one place for more than 5 seconds!
'Aaj kya hua….Itna khush kyon?' (What happened today… why are you so happy?)
'Pata hai.. aaj, M…' Arthva stopped and both Krishna and him looked towards the door. Jai looked at them, confused and then saw, from the mirror, that Massi was frantically shaking her head as to make them shut up. Jai was even more puzzled..
The children grinned, gave her the thumbs up, when they thought Jai wasn't looking and bounced out the room, laughing!
