Chapter Six

Jai woke the next day with a pain in his head. He had a major headache and hangover due to the alcohol consumption last night. He later realized what his arms where hugging and it wasn't a pillow but instead Bani. He carefully untangled himself from her and hoped he hadn't hurt her last night when he wasn't in his right senses.

She looked adorable in her sleep with a small smile playing on her lips. Jai moved away from her and went to go take a shower. He later came out dressing up in his gray suit with white shirt looking handsome. He was searching his room for his watch when Bani handed it to him.

"I took it off last night when you were asleep," Bani mumbled. "Thanks," he was embarrassed of the state he was last night. She also gave him some medicine to make his headache better. Later Jai went to work after dropping Bani off to college.

As he got to work he thought of Bani, her innocent face. Last night he was so close to her but he didn't even know although in the morning when he woke up he saw her and felt her warm soft silky skin. He didn't know what he was feeling maybe he had started liking her but he didn't even know her yet.

Bani's nature was shy unlike Pia's he thought. Pia was so caught up in her own life not caring about Jai but Bani she was different. She was caring and giving to Jai. He didn't realize when he got to work and quickly dismissed the ideas walking into his office.

Later Ranveer popped into his office, looking happy. "So did you arrive safely at home last night?" Jai chuckled. Ranveer ran his fingers through his hair, "Actually I don't really remember much." "Well I'm not surprised with the things you were saying last night you must've been really drunk," Jai smirked.

"I was wondering if you could help me," Ranveer grinned. "Yeah sure what is it?" Jai questioned. "That girl last night Bani's best friend I was thinking maybe you could introduce me to her," Ranveer asked politely. "Oh god Ranveer the things you said last night you meant it," Jai looked at him puzzled.

"I didn't say too much last night, did I?" Ranveer asked cautiously. "Didn't you guys meet already at the doorway?" Jai remembered he saw them talking. "Well she called me an idiot but other than that we didn't really talk," Ranveer sighed. "I see she is as excited to know you as you are," Jai said sarcastically.

"Oh come on Jai you have to do something," Ranveer begged. Jai shook his head and leaned back in his large black leather chair. Jai called the mansion hoping Bani was around. "Hello," he heard her gentle voice. Hey Bani it's me Jai," he said in his deep voice.

"Is there something you needed?" Bani asked confused in why Jai was calling. "Actually I am really hungry and I thought maybe we could go out to dinner," Jai mumbled looking at Ranveer who was smiling, the one who made this plan and now Jai was executing it.

"Mr.Walia I had told you today I was going with Rano to the mall," Bani uttered feeling guilty for letting him down. "Oh yeah well maybe than some other time," Jai sounded disappointed. "Wait maybe I could talk to Rano," Bani said. "Bani why don't you bring Rano along, I would feel bad if you cancel your plans on her," Jai replied thoughtfully.

"Yeah I will do that, so neither you nor Rano feels disappointed," Bani said happily. Jai disconnected the line wondering how Ranveer's stupid plan succeeded. Ranveer smiled happily knowing he was going to see Rano tonight at dinner. They left later to pick up the girls.

Rano was wearing a black skirt with silver beads across the waist with a red t-shirt, she didn't like wearing salwaar kameezes. Bani on the other hand was wearing a elegant orange fading into red colour salwaar kameez. They sat in the car and left for the restaurant.

Reaching the restaurant Ranveer sat beside Rano and Jai sat beside Bani. "Ranveer I didn't know you were coming," Bani smiled. "Uh yeah it was like a last minute thing," he muttered looking into the menu. Ranveer was not a good liar and it was pretty evident from his face.

Bani stared at Jai than Ranveer thinking something is fishy. She caught Ranveer ogling at Rano and smiled to herself. They ordered food and ate as they talked. Ranveer did try to talk to Rano but most of time she didn't seem interested. They say the first meeting gives a long lasting impression.

Jai reached over at the side of his plate and came in contact with Bani's hand. Her hand was soft and warm brushing against his large and rough one. She moved it quickly and turned her head as they were staring at each other. Ranveer extended his hand with food in it to Rano, "You should try this it tastes good," he offered nicely.

She tried it and made a funny face, "It's too sweet." "It seems you prefer bitter stuff," he replied. She shot him a glance and he looked downwards at his plate regretting what he said. Let's just say she was harder and more difficult to get to know than Ranveer thought she was.

Afterwards they left and Jai dropped Ranveer and Rano off to their homes. Jai looked over to Bani and saw she was fast asleep. Her head was leaning against the window and a strand of hair was resting against her face. He reached over and tucked the strand of hair behind her ear.

Now she seemed more comfortable and Jai smiled. They arrived at Walia Mansion and she was still asleep. He didn't know what to do, should he wake her up or carry her as she looked very light and she had a petite figure.

He waited for a while thinking maybe she would wake up but she didn't budge. Finally he was getting tired so he opened the door and picked her up in his arms. She moved a little bit resting her head against his solid chest. Just his luck Masi was sitting in the living room watching television.

She smiled widely as she saw him with his wife in his arms. "Um Bani was sleeping that's why…" he tried to explain. "It's alright she's your wife," Masi laughed as Jai blushed. He said goodnight and went upstairs to their room. He carefully laid her on the bed than went to the bathroom to freshen up. He came back with his pajamas on and went to sleep.

Later in the night he stirred a little and woke up to see Bani's hand encircling his waist and her head resting on his chest. However much he wanted to resist her, his body wouldn't allow him to and his mind also wouldn't allow him. He smiled a bit and hugged her back liking the warmth of her body against his. She wasn't a pillow alright but soft and cuddly like one.

Hey some people wanted me to post the part up today so I finished it quickly and posted it up. I made it extra long this time so please no complaints. Hope you enjoyed it. Will be looking forward to read the comments,
