Why Did AD Marry Durga?

Dear KSians,

One point I am still unclear about is: why did AD agree to marry DDG? AD has been portrayed as a pattar dil insan, someone who is hell bent on his revenge, someone who is unrelenting, uncompromising and unforgiving. This guy has been waiting and planning for 20 yrs to exact his revenge on JW. These 20 yrs have seen him turn into rich and ruthless with only one goal in mind - the destruction of JW.

Now, in the last few episodes these 20 yrs of hatred and resolve has been weakened so much, that he is willing to marry someone who he knows does not fell one iota of love towards him? Bani may be grateful to AD for saving her, but love she definitely does not have for him. Now what kind of a man has this ruthless, fierce AD has become? Some one who is pitiable and pathetic? What kind of a man and a very manly man at that marries for one sided love? Couldn't a man like AD fake his marriage to satisfy him MIL?

I have created this post for a pure discussion and it is just my POV.

A cunning and shrewd man like AD couldn't have faked the marriage or come up with a suitable diversion? I can't believe that.JW gives into unreasonable demands without thinking but AD doesn't.

Added to this she is one perfectionist in pooja's cooking,baby sitting dunno much abt washing and dusting but haan since he trained her he is deffo she is also like him na.

If this is the case, then I have to say that AD's plan is good. He has thought it through, this man knows what he wants and is getting. Getting payr in return jaye bhar me. AD's payr for Bani kafi hai dono ke liye.
