Anu, Rano and Bani were sitting in the restaurant having lunch 2 days later, they were trying to cheer Bani up,
So you don't like Pushkar…Rano asked…
I don't hate him exactly, but he is a police officer like Dad, I don't want to get married to a police officer…
Why…you are father is a good one, and Pushkar is also an IPS…Rano asked
Ha same profession matlab, roz roz ki tension, hardly any holidays i.e no new year, diwali etc and upar se transferable job…I want to pursue my career and if he is transferred from one corner to the other how will I do so…

The girls out of the restaurant, Rano went into the mall next door, Anu offered a lift to Bani saying she is going to visit her parents so why not drop her as it is the same route…
In the car, Anu suddenly said, Bani ek baath kahu….the other day Mamaji was enquiring about you, he seemed unusually interested…keya baath hai, tujhe kuch maloom hai…
A cold shiver ran down Bani's body…I really have no idea….
Patah nehi unke dimag me keya keya chalta rehta Anu said, we all think he should settle down now, lekin woh hai ki koi unhe pasand hi nehi atah…
What about Rohit's bua…
I don't think it will work out, my parents' idea and they are worlds apart….

It was late into the night, as usual the house was quiet as Jai walked in to go upto his room…Tony, his faithful butler came to help him to retire, taking is jacket, putting it away…how many times he has told him not to stay awake but then who will argue with Tony…after Tony left he stood in front of the window…it was a full moon night…he remembered his dream, his relation with Roshni,,,,, he wanted some one warm and simple, Roshni was too articulate, too professional even in a relationship she wanted a timetable…..someone was watching TV aloud…must be Sahil, his room is next…someone laughed …he remembered Bani's laughter, her eyes twinkling, her dimple on her cheeks ….

Jai stopped on his tracks, Anu was talking to someone over mobile walking down the gallery…
Bani don't cry, I understand what you are going through, in this age how can your father force your engagement…..good god has he gone crazy…
Jai took out his mobile and tried to look busy on the phone…
What about your mother yaar…then just go and tell them that you don't want to marry a police officer because of the reasons you know, period…..
Jai smiled, he put the mobile back in his pocket, looked around and walked towards the lift…

Bani was standing at the bus stop when a car with dark windows came and stopped the windows rolled down, it was Jai Walia, can I give you a lift…
God cursed Bani silently why do we have to stay in the same vicinity, No Sir, I will take the bus, please don't trouble yourself…
No trouble at all, actually I wanted to speak to you for quite sometime…
This is the problem of being polite, learn to say no Bani, she thought to herself….she was very upset and wanted solitude, she was on her way to the Library in her college, wanted to think for a while…she got in, and looked out of the window…

Yes Bani read about that…she nodded…he is a mature person maybe she can at least have a heart to heart talk….she kept quiet…
Well then here we go and Bani mobile is not good for solitude….
Bani looked at the mobile in her hand, yes it is not, she switched it off, kept it next to her and closed her eyes…last night she did not get to sleep…
The driver looked through the rear view mirror to Jai Walia, with making a sound he said the name, the driver read his lips and nodded…Jai looked at the mobile kept between then, quietly picked it up, opened it, and dislodged the sim card a little…even the police cannot track you now….returned it to its former place…
