I never dreamt that I would write a FF,but with the way the KS leap track has been handled i am here presenting u all this FF of mine ,in collaboration with Sangita Das and Munna's Raaga.
I hereby start this FF with a promise to fellow FF writers that I will never bug them to update soon and with a promise to all my readers that I will wind it up soon.
PROLOGUE:
Bani had been framed big time by Pia, Jigyasa and Karuna leaving less time for JW to prepare a proper defense case for Bani. JW hires a lawyer who tells Jai that its possible to defend her but the case would be dragged for a substantial time, maybe months. At the same time he also informs Jai that he couldnt promise that the results would come in his favour. Jai was however not ready to let Bani stay in jail in her present delicate condition.All of Jai's connections failed to yield any result due to upcoming elections as none of his political friends wanted to jeopardize their future and as a result Jai was struck now where.
Finally Lawyer Manchnadani came up with an idea as per which they would prove Bani insane send her to Mental Asylum and later plan for an escape and sneak her away from INDIA. In his present situation Jai found the idea better though he wanted to prove Bani innocent first but with things getting tightened up he opted for this idea and decided to prove Bani insane .
All plan for escape had been made but in the meantime, Bani was rushed to hospital as she went into labour. At hospital Bani delivered twins but her condition weakens as she had been subjected to lot of turmoil of late.
All the latest happenings did not shake the trust that Bani had for Jai but she was left confused and Jai not visiting her worsened things for her and above this Pia's visit along with Karuna and Jigyasa troubled Bani a lot.
In her semiconscious state, Bani overhears a conversation between Jai and Rano where Jai tells Rano that its time Bani leaves as planned and an accident was scheduled to happen that day and that Rano should by now know whom he cares for and how much he loves Pia. This leaves Bani completely shaken and devastated.
Jai was hurrying up as he had made all arrangements for Bani to thieve her out of the country that very day and the thought of Bani actually going into labour had never crossed his mind
Later Bani hears the nurses talking amongst themselves about how JW is bent on shifting Bani in this fragile state of hers to some other place. Bani had no choice but to go on with what life was meting out to her. However, while being moved to Mental Asylum, the van in which Bani was traveling meets with an accident killing everyone in that van.
The story begins 5yrs later. After that accident 5 yrs ago, JW had grown out to be much more stronger and quieter, holding a truth within himself, that none dared to know. Raashi was no more and Ranveer and Rano are not married in present time.
Krishna and Atharv are Jai and Bani's kids ,Veer is Pia's and Varun is Rano's child.
Jigyasa being Krishna Walia's daughter threatened to move to court to claim rights over Walia Mansion, but with Maasi 's timely intervention, the lawsuit was avoided and further damage to the Walia family and the family name was avoided.
5 years back, Pia had made Bani sign some papers long back which gave her custodial rights over Jai and Bani's kids. Further Veer was also in the picture which compelled Jai to think very seriously before making any moves.
All three - Ranveer, Rano and Jai lost their respective Love. They accepted this loss as the ultimate Truth and tried to find joy with what little they were left with.
PART :1
Jai stood in front of the french window and opened it. A small bluster of cold wind blew in and his skin tingled. 'This winter is unusually cold then ever', he thought and stood there for a few minutes, staring at the sky.
It was as empty as his self. Sighing, he slowly turned to have his regular which Tony had already fixed.
Just then the sound of the door turning caused him to look up and glance at his watch "12 am? Who could it be at this unearthly hour?"
"Papa?"
His face burst in to a smile as his little angel walked in covered with woolen clothes from top to bottom and a monkey cap covering her ears and head and an angelic smile lighting up her dear face. She looks just like......
Little krishna ran up to her father and Jai scooped her into his arms and kissed her on her forhead "How is it that my angel hasn't slept yet? Is some monster bother Papa's little girl?"
Krishna as always blushed at the sound of Jai calling her angel and she kissed him on both his cheeks, rubbed her nose fondly on his and pointed her hand towards the glass on the desk "Papa!" she admonished him in her baby tongue "Why do you drink that dirty drink?"
Startled and guilty, he pushed the glass away. So this meant that Krishna was as observant as....Though he never drank in front of children, Madam had been observing him! Careful Jai!
Smiling, he said aloud "Beta, it is medicine!"
Krishna's face immediately became concerned and she asked him softly "Papa? What happened? Do you have fever?Where did you get hurt?"
"Papa has got hurt Krishna."
Krishna propmptly checked him and declared "But Papa, I cannot find any hurt?"
Jai pointed at his heart and said quietly "This is where." and a tear rolled down his cheek.
Krished wiped his cheek, kissed it and tenderly caressed the place where he said he had got hurt "Does it hurt,Papa?"
Jai nodded.
"O Papa!"
She threw her arms around him and while comforting him, said softly "Papa, you should be careful. You know, some time back I too fell down and got hurt. But I was very brave and never cried even though lot of blood came out."
"Baby, you got hurt? Why didn't you tell me? Rano RANO..."
"Papa" said Krishna, bading him to sit back "It's ok. Massima applied a magic cream and it got fine. I told her not to trouble you. Papa, next time you get hurt, see that blood comes out. Such hurts heal faster."
Jai stared at his daughter as if he were seeing a vision. She is just like.....
Eyes full of tears. he kissed her and whispered "Yes baby. Now tell me what is troubling Papa's little girl?"
After a moment's silence the girl complained "I hate boys Papa! Veer pulled at my plait today. I won't play with them ever again! I want a new set of toys. And clothes too. All of them have become old."
Hugging his precious angel, Jai kissed her forehead "I promise you that tomorrow, you and Papa will spend the whole day together. We will go shopping, we will eat outside and have lots of fun. Game partner?"
"GAME!
Father and daughter smiled at each other, the latter in anticipation of the next day and the former, tracing a resemblace of the past in the present!

PART 2
The business news in the background, JW was rigorously working on the treadmill.
"Good Morning Jeeju".Talk about Multi Tasking. Jai Walia has become an expert in this!
Rano walked in with the tray her hand,filled with his juice in and news paper. Rano sat in front of him and looking at him said sternly "Do you think all this is necessary??
JW gave her a puzzled look.
Rano said thrusting the juice glass in front of his nose "jeeju u already giv all Men a run for their money and with this slim and trim figure...." she let her sentence trail, with a twinkle in her eyes.
JW laughed at rano's comments and stepping down turned the TV offand sat beside her "all credit goes to my beautiful saaliji who is so health conscious that neither storm nor tsunami can stop her from giving me this Carrot Juice. Saying so Jai made a weird face and gulped it one go making rano burst out into laughter "I now get it! I was wondering where from does Athaarv get that sulking expression?" Winking, she left the room.
Jai kept looking at rano musing how their relationship had changed over the years, for the better, but strangly the women because whom they are related left them leaving them alone...
It was a saturday. The entire Walia clan was seated around the breakfast table and Jai entered the dining room and took his place at the head of the family. As Rano set up the table, the men of the house discussed business. Daadi was yet to join them. Veer and atharv were already running down the stairs to fill in their little stomachs. Varun was upstairs, being given a vigorous scrub by Revathi, who was a pleasant woman in her mid thirties, a widow who had lost her husband 6yrs back in a tragic accident. 5 years back, she had been appointed by Rano as the nanny of the kids. Since then, she had become a firm part of the family. Her only daughter in hostel, whom she visited twice a month, she spent her time making herself useful around the Walia mansion and going to her home in the servant quarters for sleeping. She was satisfied with life and loved the kids.
The kids took their place at the breakfast table and started discussing Pokeman vigorously with energy,making the adults go silent for a moment.
Rano sighed and said it runs in the family looks and discussions and krishna came hopping and went straight to jai kissed him and said "Partner ready for the GAME?" and looked at the boys triumphantly. All the three looked at her rather curiously and satisfied with their reactions,Krishna turning her attention towards her rano said "Maasima me and papa are going out today and we both will hav loads of fun,u see full shopping only me and papa!" carefully stressing the terms me and papa.
Hearing this veer started crying and atharv started throwing tantrums while varun made a innocent child like face and all looked in jai's direction pleadingly while Krishna said it aloud "NO BOYS,I Hate Boys! and folded her arms across her chest with a stern look on her face. Veer stopped crying and said sulkily "even papa is a boy!"
Krishna looked at him and said "no papa is a MAN! Big MAN and you all are boys! Jai bit hislipos to stop laughing and looked at his daughter adoringly. After much coaxing and wooing on jai's part that he would take them to movie also she finally agreed but on one condition that's it is she who will be sitting next to Jai whole day and all agreed to her.
The kids eagerly finished their breakfast when jai left to attend a call and gesturing the kids to get ready.
The excited kids jumped to get ready and little varun bumped into jigyasa, spilling a glassful of juice on her sari.
Jigyasa turned red and started bad mouthing him and daadi tried to stop her by reminding her that varun is her grandson.
Jigyasa only retorted "I have nothing to do with this handicapped child! My son is no more because of him. I can never forget that!"
Saying so she raised her hand to slap Varun when Ranveer stopped her in the middle and said severely
"Don't u ever dare to repeat this mistake by mistake also! and told her that even veer also has nothing to do with a womon who bargained wealth over her son's death, making jigyasa go pale with fear.
Ranveer took scared varun in his arms, kissing him and tickling him until the kid broke into laughter.
Finally it was time for their day out. All of them sat in the car, all excited abt the day ahead while Jai turned on the ignition, clueless about the change in the wind's direction...
Totally in the dark that spring was rearing her dainty head...
That it was now goodbye to Tears and over to smiles...
