Part 16:

All the preparations for the party were in full swing. Bani would have been more than happy to help, but ever since she had come back into the Walia Mansion, strict orders from Massi had everyone cowering to not let her lift a finger. Instead, she was treated like a queen. She woke up early, as she did everyday, yet with no one letting her prepare breakfast or clean the house, she found herself rather bored. All the decorators were running around, trying to put up last minute decorations, with Massi at the head of it all ordering everyone around, telling them what to do and what not to do. Bani found herself with nothing to do, so she decided to read a good book. She snuggled up in her warm bed with a book in her hand. She loved to read, but since her life had been so hectic, she hadn't found enough time to do so. She intended to use her newfound time to comply with her desires. Although she didn't have much complying to do, considering Jai was fulfilling each and every one of her desires.

Bani hadn't noticed when or how she had fallen asleep, but she guessed that her tiredness had gotten the better of her. She was so used to going around and doing stuff around the house that she never noticed her tiredness from waking up so early. This was the first time she had actually slept during the day. The next time she knew, someone was beside her, pushing her gently, trying to wake her up. "Bani, wake up, unless you want me to come in there with you" Jai said huskily. Bani's eyes flew open. Jai knew that it would work. He was smiling at the sight of Bani. She looked like such an angel. He didn't have the heart to wake her up, but they both needed to get ready for the party. It wouldn't seem right for the guest of honors to be late. "Bani get up and get ready for the party. We're late already, and if you don't get up, we'll be even later" he said with a glint in his eyes. Bani blushed to the core.

She hurriedly got up and went to her closet to choose what to wear. She had a lot of clothes to choose from, but wasn't sure what she was supposed to wear. The next thing she knew, Jai wrapped him arms around her and started nuzzling her neck. "Jai, please, I need to get ready for the party and so do you. I don't even have my clothes picked out yet," she said, although she truly wanted him to continue. "How about you wear this," he said while handing her a wrapped box. Bani's eyes glowed. She couldn't believe he had done this. She was close to tears, but she held herself.

She opened the box and found a stunning sari. It was a dark pink sari, embroidered with gold designs. It was better than anything she could have chosen herself. "Jai, you didn't have to do this. I could have worn any of the saris I have in my closet" said Bani wholeheartedly. "Bani, I know you have a lot of saris and you could have worn any of them, but I want you to wear this one. This is a special occasion and special occasions render special gifts. And now I want you to go and get dressed so I can see how stunning you look in that sari" he said compassionately. While Bani was in the bathroom getting ready, Jai decided to get ready himself. He looked into his closet and pulled out a black suit, his favorite color.

Bani emerged from the bathroom wearing the sari Jai had gifted her. She looked so gorgeous in it, extenuating the chocolate brown of her eyes, while the moon brought a special glow about her face. She looked like an angel. Jai was ready to skip the party if it meant being with her, but he knew he had to go. Bani walked over to the dresser and was looking for matching jewelry, just when Jai came towards her and handed her another wrapped box. "This is for you, my lady. I just hope you like it. It used to be my mother's. Before she passed away, she gave it to me, telling me to give it to the person I loved the most. The kangans were hers, all the rest of the jewelry, I bought for you yesterday while I coming back from work," he said while watching her reaction.

Bani's eyes were getting moist. She was so happy to have a husband who loved her so much. She couldn't thank him enough for what he had done. So instead, she got up and hugged him. "Jai, I love you so much. Thank you. For everything. There's no way I could possibly repay you for all of this" she said with true compassion in her voice. "Oh, I think there is one way you could repay me" Jai said with a glint in his eyes. He then captured Bani's lips to silence the refute that was about to come. Just as he was nuzzling her neck, a knock was heard. Frustrated as Jai was at being disturbed, he opened the door to find a giggling Anu. "Mamaji, I know you and Mami have a lot of catching up to do, but can you do it after the party. All the guests are here, and they're waiting for you" she said with a wink and ran away before he could digest any of what she had said.

"Bani, although I hate to have to end this, we have to go down now," he said with defeat written all over his face. Both Jai and Bani finished getting ready and went downstairs. As they descended the stairs, the lights were on them. People were mesmerized by their beauty. They couldn't keep but complimenting the couple. They seemed to be a match made in heaven. Just as they finished descending the stairs, music filled the room, and couples started moving towards the dance floor. Jai and Bani swayed together to the music, as if they were one. They couldn't help but stare into each other's eyes, with passion and love. They were consumed in their own world, and no one could break it. They were in such a trance, that they didn't notice when the music stopped. They kept on swaying, provided by the rhythm of their hearts.

Aditya came up to the both of them. They didn't seem to notice him at all, still staring lovingly into each other's eyes. "You guys, unless you plan on dancing all night, I suggest you stop. The music ended five minutes ago" he said with a laugh. They suddenly realized where they were. Bani blushed a deep crimson and stared at the floor, as if the gesture would make her invisible to the people.

"Thank you everyone for coming out here today. This party is in honor of Jai and Bani, the couple of the hour. In commemoration of their togetherness and to wish them a lifetime of success and joy" he said with pride in his voice, of their accomplishment and of their happiness. He wanted to see them like this forever.

Dinner was then served. Bani didn't eat much, considering she was too busy trying to keep hold of the babies. Massi then came and told her to enjoy her night with Jai and that she would take care of the kids. Jai and Bani then stared at each other lovingly and fed each other from the same plate. They moved onto cutting the cake. Just as the cake was cut, the babies started crying, as if they wanted to be the first ones to be fed the cake. Although they were too small to eat the cake, their mother did give them a little bit of icing each, just to satisfy them. Bani then fed Jai, and let him feed her. The cake was then distributed among the guests.

The evening went presumably well. Both Jai and Bani were tired. They couldn't wait for the guests to leave so that they could snuggle up to each other in bed and fall asleep in each other's arms. "Jai, Bani, you both go to sleep. I'll put the children to sleep. Don't worry about it. You both look exhausted," said Massi just as both of them tried to stifle a yawn. They both went up to their room. Bani was so tired, she wanted to fall asleep in her sari, but the jewelry was so heavy and the sari uncomfortable. Jai saw her trying to unlatch the clasp of her necklace, and decided to help, as well as continue from where they left off last while in the room. He went towards Bani and help her remove her jewelry. Just as he removed each piece, he kissed the place from which he took it. Until, he finally captured her lips, and moved towards the bed. The night then faded, leaving two lovebirds in their own world, where only they existed.

Hinnu that is the cutest, sweetest, lovest thin. I likey. Man u not innocent. At 14, wondor how u all b after marriage. Playin, mayb. Love it. The kids part was really cute. Bani is the queen there, man wish me had that. Cont. soon.
