chapte r 9
3 weeks have passed jai and bani have hardly seen each other forget having a conversation, with jai being very busy the only time bani c's him was when he got ready and when he came bk home other then that he was no where to be seen breakfast hmmm she cud never make it because of arjun,dinner ya that was another time she did c him other that when at home he was in his study and bani assumed he must be sleeping there only as she never saw him in the rum at nite….
Jai's parents , jigs , adi all noticed this and jai's mum was ready to give it to him but bani stopped her saying she'll speak to him and jai's mum agreed even though she knew ye bani ke bas ki baat nahin....
That evening after a horrid day at work Jai and adi were entering the house ( jai was in a foul mood and adi was trying to cool him down rite thru…) as they entered jai heard a loud yet pleasant sound of laufter which caught his attention and he went in the direction of the sound only to find bani laufing her heart out as jigs and rano were telling her sumthin …..bani's laufter certainly had its power as jai found that all the anger built up inside subsided and all his tensed muscles started to relax …..as he kept luking at her, when he realized that adi was calling him and went to c what he wanted ……
That nite jai was again working till late and bani decided to go n check on him so she prepared sum hot coffee for him and went to his study
Bani entering the study jai luks up at her ..
Bani: this for u (placing the mug in front of him)
Jai: thnx , but there was no need I was abt finish work , main aa hi rahaa thaa
Bani decided to leave when jai stops her…
Jai : u sure u don't wanna say nething to me …
Bani : na
Jai : kuch bhi nahin…..
Bani : nope
Jai asked her to seat herself across him and she did so
Jai: what kind of a wife r u go take sum training yr newly married and yr husband for the last 3 weeks has not spent quality time with u , quality time my foot he hasn't given ne time or importance to u he keeps working round the clock its ok with u tumhein kuch nahin kehnaa oh my gawd I am such a nice husband I am asking u but still u don't wanna yell ,you r not mad at me I am stunned , everytime I have a conversation with u bani I'm left agape, tumhein gussa nahin aata …. I wonder koi aur hota to I wud have been dead ghar mein sab log mujhe daant rahein for my behaviour and u the victim say nothing to me…..pls bani kuch to kaho….
Bani started laufing and jai was captivated mesmerised by her laufter and just kept luking at her , wow he wondered she was truly riveting.. and she was his.. atleast technically
bani : ill take training i am sorry maine aapko disappoint kiya
jai was like what thats all u wanna say ...
bani: aur kya kahoon jab mujhe koi problem nahin aapse to kya kahoon ab shud i make sumthing up
jai ; wow when this marriage was fixed i thought yes tumne kahaa and ill pay for it but now that i realize u r paying for it u have lost yr freedom, u r the loser u put up with a 10 yr elder to u person who does nothin for u except screwing things up and u r having to look after a 3 yr old kid ... u have given up a brite career....(what made jai say that he didnt no but it just came out may be cos sumwhere he felt this way)
bani had heard enuf and decided to leave at once ( jai was like i am saying the truth) but stopped midway and said:aap apne dil se pooch ke dekhiye what u have just said is it the truth really? and i dont give neone the right to say ne thing objectionable abt my marriage , husband and child ... there was the admonishment jai required ...
with that bani left the room leaving a even more troubled jai he cursed himself of having said what he had but then he had raised the rite issues and bani had answered him ....so did she in other words imply she liked him / loved him or was she saying that now that this her family she wud hear nothin against them....and above of all was she now angry with him he didnt no.. so he quickly left the study and reached his room only to find bani having gone to sleep or atleast pretending to do so...
that nite jai cud'nt sleep he just didnt feel gud he had once again screwed up this time for sure she must be hurt why did he have to say what he said but sumwhere he thought he did rite thing atleast the guilt came out...but his heart ached to c her leave the rum like that , when she said he had no rite to say nething ...the pain and anger was written all over her face... he cudnt give her ne reason to cheer but he had hurt her in this v short period of their marriage ...why did he do so ...how is he gonna explain himself to her....sumwhere while looking for an possible answer to the various questions / trubles his mind had put forth he went to sleep
as for bani she was awake when jai came and was in deep thought about what jai had said to her why did he feel this way was it sumthing to do with her behaviour .. she wondered but was happy she had put her point across jai but maine kaafi dryly keh diya aur chali aayi i shudnt have done that he must have felt bad /hurt i shud have been a little more understanding and caring main kal sorry keh doongi....she decided felt happy and slept
ok guys thats it for this one sorry bore kiya vsorry for that and the mistakes next update monday for sure
