Hey guys here's the second part to Chapter 4 i hope you like it! sorry for my mistakes!
This part is dedicated to Bina, Jojo, and Radhika for helping me with some ideas here.
Also i have two things to say:
1. Puja is a new character but she's resembled or based completely on my best friend in real life, Puja. And her and Bani's relationship portrayed here is mine and Puja's friendship and that is how we really are with eachother.
2. After this you will have the update where Bani will give her answer...I promise this time!

Chapter 4B Like the Mumbai traffic, Bani's mind was racing with million thoughts of how she was going to face Jai. With only one day to go, she didn't know how to deal with him. 'Tomorrow is the day I have to confront with Jai,' thought Bani, 'but how am I to go with my day today when I've already taken my decision. Since yesterday my day has been going by fine because I had Puja and Rano there and I didn't see Jai but how am I going to go with my day without them.'
Bani had a long talk with her best friend Puja and her baby sister Rano on this proposal last night. Puja was Bani's closest friend and she always knew what Bani was feeling and always knew what to say. Bani and Puja were complete opposite but they always looked out for each other. If one of them was hurt the other one will know about it before even the news reached the ears. Bani was more a serious kind while Puja was the wild kind. Puja would always be the one who would forget everything and was the carefree person, while Bani always trying to be responsible. They completed each other's thoughts. They always looked out for each other. Puja had always called Bani her guardian angle and vice versa. They were complete opposite but yet the same. People would always wonder how they were friends. You could never separate them in public. Whenever Puja would get in trouble or would forget something Bani was always there to her rescue and with out a blink of an eye she would fight others for Puja. Bani was like a second mother, in best friend's form, to Puja. She occupied her life from the beginning. In guys matter, Bani would always knew that Puja liked someone before she even knew it herself and vice versa. No one came between them. Puja had a bad habit of saying no to others but with Bani she could always be in her senses. They were the only ones who could control each other and could convince the other. They never did anything that would hurt the other in any way. Bani and Puja always did everything together. Bani was Puja's personal secretary and she knew everything about her life and whenever someone wanted to spend time with Puja, they had to actually ask Bani first about Puja's schedule. Everyone knew of their strong relationship all through their college and school years. They met each other back in 7th grade and from then on they became closer and closer; and with each passing day their friendship only grew stronger and bloomed.
Bani shared the same kind of relationship with Rano. They were really close together. Rano always looked up to her Bani di. Whenever Bani needed a shoulder to cry on, Rano and Puja were there to offer their shoulder. Bani was always lucky to have Rano there in her life. Rano always covered up for Bani during her masti days. She would always save Bani at home with her parents and would support her against her parents. She was her personal advisor in everything. Even though Bani had a huge group of friends but these two were closest to her heart.
As the cab severed around the corner and brought to a halt in front of the Walia Group of Industries, her work place, Bani was brought out of her thoughts by the cabby. She paid the driver her fare and stepped outside the car. She gave a quick glance towards the parking lot and she noticed Jai's BMW. 'Jai's early today,' she wondered, 'he's never this early today. I wonder if he's worried about my answer. Maybe I should give him my answer today it will put him at ease. Yes that's what I will do.' She smiled to herself, a little relieved and a little nervous she walked in the office lobby. She greeted at the front desk then picking up her mail, she headed towards the elevator. She pushed her floor level button as Yuks, her colleague and personal assistant stepped into the elevator with her. Yuks was one of her good friends at work and they were lunch buddies. Bani had met Yuks the day she started working for Jai 4 years ago. They were really good friends now and just like the rest of the office staff, Yuks knew about Bani and Jai and something's even more. But this time Bani had hid the fact of Jai's proposal from Yuks because she wasn't sure of it herself.
Yuks: "Good morning Bani! Have you noticed Jai sir is early today?"
Bani: "Good morning Yuks! Yeah I noticed."
Yuks: "I wonder why he's early, he never is. Yeh early tabhi hotein hain jab yeh pareshaan hotein ya phir khusa hotien hian. Yehi do wajah ho sakti hain inki jaldi office anneka. Kyon Bani kya tum janti ho ke kya baat hain jiski wajah se Jai sir office mein jaldi agaye hain? I'm sure you know Bani since you are really close to him."
Bani smiles nervously: "Nahi Yuks mujhe nahin pata ke ajj Jai early kyon hai."
Yuks: "Strange. I know it can't be about work because everything is fine here but then why?"
Bani shrugs her shoulder and changes the topic: "So Yuks tumhara weekend kesai tha?"

As Bani stepped into her cabin she saw her office desk all ready and cleared up from the mess of yesterday. She also saw her coffee mug on the desk all ready for her and her computer on for her to start working on. She wondered who could've done all this for her. She looked around the office hall to get some hint and the peon pointed towards Jai's office. Bani glanced at his office door and saw him engrossed in his work. She smiled to herself and made a mental note to herself that she will thank him later. She heads inside her cabin and sat down to work on her file.
She handled all of Jai's files before passing onto him. She was his personal advisor in business and could always control him at office as well as outside of office beside Anu. She knew his family really well. And the kind of bond they both shared, Bani was worried about him more than about herself.
Bani thought about the proposal again after this incident. She thought that how much Jai cared for her and knew everything about her. 'Maybe this wouldn't be a bad thing after all. Maybe we work the best as a team, like he had said. This will be the best decision Jai if you keep it up like this,' giving hope to herself, Bani thought.

The rest of the day Bani worked in her cabin so she can head out to lunch after handing the files to Jai. She was almost done with her files but wasn't quite done when Yuks stepped into her cabin to remind her about the lunch break.
Yuks: "Bani let's go. I'm starving here…we need food to survive and you need it to think clearly."
Bani: "Yuks I'm almost done here, let me fix the last mistakes and then I'm done. I need to give this file before I head out to lunch because I got more files to go over."
Yuks whining now: "Bani please come on na yaar. Jai sir tumhare dost hain I'm sure ke who mind nahi karenge agar tumne unhe lunch ke baad diya."
Bani: "Ok Baba look I'm almost done here. Kyon na tum mera intazaar karo main yeh file Jai ko deke ati hoon. Hmm?"
With that Yuks leave towards the caf down the street and Bani heads towards Jai's cabin.

"Kya tum logon se koi bhi kaam dhange se nahi hota?" Jai yelled on the phone on the other line. "I gave you this project because I trusted that you will not disappoint me and will give me full report by the end of the week. Instead hearing the good news I hear the worst news," Jai yelled the day lights out of the person on the other line.
"I want this cleared up NOW!!! I should have full reports on my desk 8 am sharp tomorrow morning, YOU UNDERSTAND?!!! Now go and get going!" With that Jai sat down on his chair and closed hi eyes.
He just couldn't believe his luck today. He came early so that he can relieve some of his stress but reaching the office he finds out that one of his most important has been delayed because of some stupid reason. So for the whole day long, he has been in his room trying to sort this out. He was so lost in his thoughts that he failed to notice Bani's presence in the room or heard her knock.
Bani knocked on the cabin door a little harder. Jai answered in frustration without opening his eyes. "COME IN!!!"
Bani: "Sir yeh files…"
Jai now really annoyed: "Yahin rekh do…and get lost!" Jai screamed at her and then opened his eyes when he felt for sure that he heard a little whimpering noise on the other side of the room.
Jai, now fully awake: "Oh my God, Bani I'm really sorry…"
Before he can continue, Bani ran out of the room with tears in her eyes. And Jai sat back down and ran his hands in his hair for the umpteenth time today. 'Why does it have to happen now? Couldn't I be a little more considerate and little in control?' he scolded himself.

Bani ran out of his cabin and almost collided with another person if someone had not yelled at her. She ran all the way down and stepped outside the building. She ran down the street and turned the corner and halted in front of the Caf, where Yuks was. She wiped her tears before entering. She spotted Yuks and headed towards her with a fake smile.
Yuks: "Arre Bani itni deere kyon? Khere chodo meine tumhare liye tumhara usual order kya hai. I hope you don't mind."
Bani: "No I don't mind at all. You know all my test and stuff so I have no worries."
Yuks noticed Bani's red and watery face but thought best to keep her question to herself.
Bani: "Yuks I'm not hungry so I'll just have the restaurant pack my lunch to go if that is ok with you?" Bani said after a while of silence.
All this while, Bani's having second thoughts about the proposal. Yuks take this perfect opportunity to confront with Bani.
Yuks: "Bani I know something's troubling you so talk to me."
Bani: "No Yuks nothing is troubling me. Why would you say that?"
Yuks: " Bani I know it because I can see it in your eyes. It is related to Jai?"
Bani didn't what to say so she just nodded.
Yuks: "Whatever it is Bani just remember one thing: Hold ten roses in your hand and stand before a mirror and you will see eleven roses. I know you're having trouble with taking the decision with Jai's proposal but I want you to think about this before giving in the final answer ok?"
Bani was too shocked so she simply nodded again.
Bani: "Who told you about this?"
Yuks: "Lets just say I have my sources." And she winked at Bani, making her laugh.
Rest of their lunch passed with their daily talks and both returned to the office. Bani headed back to her respective place and Yuks to her place. As soon as Bani entered she was surprised to see her favorite lilies in the office desk with Jai's apology note attached to it explaining his behavior.
Bani took the card and read it and she smiled and then thought to Yuks's phrase of ten roses.
