Hey guys,
This is my first fan fic guys and i must tell you, not an easy task to start the beginning. lol.😆 i have Anam to thank that for.😆😆 and Yuks for defending me against her.😆
ok now down to serious things: I want to thank everyone for helping me out on this FF and encouraging me to write a FF. I want to thank Himali for telling me that i'm a great writer from day one and the first one to have faith in my writing and giving me an energy booster. I want to thank Anam, Yuks, and Keero for pushing me into writing a ff. I want to thank Isha for giving me the nicknames. i love her nicknames...😆. I want to thanks Rivya for being my partner in Krime as the KKK😆😆 no seriously she has helped me a lot and i love her for this!😳 Nina my siggy buddy...ok not really but i love her Ekta sshtyle...😆 But thanks for having faith in me! I want to thank everyone who made me feel welcome on this Forum and all the people who have mentioned me in their ffs😆 no seriously i want to thank everyone! This is dedicated to you guys!

Chapter 1

"I can't do this Jai. It's not me and you know it!" Bani tried to reason with Jai. But Jai hai ke…

"Oh come on Bani! Tum sabse achi ho iss kaam main. I know you have the sparks and capability," pleaded Jai for the umpteenth time.

For the past week or so, Jai has been begging Bani to fulfill his wish that he always wanted and something that only she can fulfill it and no one else. Being a business man and all he had made a name for himself in the business world and the community. His arrogant yet kind-hearted personality has helped him become what he is. His devilish yet handsome looks added more to his personality. His husky yet deep and confident voice have spell-bounded everyone and has been added to his appearance. His classy sense of style, walk, and talk leaves everyone breathing for air, especially the ladies…

Even the whole Walia clan wants only Bani. They will not accept anyone else and Jai himself knows that they're right. Only Bani can make him do things that others won't. Only Bani can make him smile even when he's in one of his moods. Only Bani can stand up against the great Jai Walia that no one ever questions.

"Please Bani! Meri baat ko samajhne ki koshish karo. Main tumhare baghair yeh nahi kar sakta. I can't trust anyone else other than you! You and you alone complete me here and the only one who can give me this," Jai turned towards where Bani was standing and held her shoulders firmly and pleaded again. "I have so much in life and I've seen so much that it's really hard for me to accept or trust anyone. You're the first one, in whom I reside everything about me. So you see you are more than perfect for this," he explained.

Being a ladies man, Jai Walia could convince any girl with a blink of his eyes but Bani was a different case. Since day one of their meeting, Bani was confident and equally stubborn compared to Jai. She would get her ways too if the situation and time permits. She was girl of many sanskaar and simplicity. She had that sweet dimple smile which will make you forget about all your troubles by looking at her. And those copper eyes to turn you on and make you want to fill them with happiness. Her simple sense of style, yet classy and modern speaks for her ideals and goals and her personality. Her classy walk and mysteriously sweet voice makes you look for clues in life. Her helping and caring nature brings the best of her features.

Bani's defenses(couldn't find anything better.lol) instantly shot up, "I don't know Jai. It's too much for me. I may know you but I'm really not suitable for the kind of commitment you are asking me."

"But Ban…" Jai interrupts her

Bani: "What if I can't make you happy?"

Jai says as he moves closer to her: "I know you will."

Bani asks, still in her world: "What if you're image will be ruin because of my little mind and simplicity?"

Jai moving closer says but to be interrupted again: "I don't care as long…"

"There are so many other flaws I can come up with about myself," Bani went on without listening to Jai's protest and without realizing that he's inches away from her.

"But the point is I can't do it. I can't commit to something that will take time to build and have it to your liking. I have never done well in the past. Mujhe toh har waqt khud maddat ki zarurat hai. It's not easy....there's so much more that has to be thought about before taking such a huge step."

Suddenly Jai holds her hands and then cups her face, rather rougly and says: "Bani, meri baat sunno, please, sirf ek baar meri ankhoon main dekho and you'll know how much this means to me."

As soon as Bani came to close contact with Jai, she lost control of all of her nerves. Her knees started trembling. Her mouth became dry, her body stiffened. The touch of his hands shot shivers down her spines. Such close proximity started to affect her mind. It became cloudy and her hands started to sweat. Her body was emitting as much heat as the sun but still she kept her cool She wondered if her eyes where betraying her because of the way they were starring each other. His chocolaty brown eyes, with a glint of grey in them were easy to drown into. She could smell his cologne. She could feel his touch, his warmth, his everything. Every passing minutes being this close with Jai was clouding her judgments and sense, so she decided to break it of, she replies confidently but yet with hint of huskiness in her voice, "You know that trick of yours is not going to work with me anymore like it use to. It will not be enough to convince me."

Jai frustrated and hurt questioned: "Do you have to insult me by saying that?"

Bani broke apart from his contact and turned and said, "Look Jai other things in the past were not this big and weren't something to tie me down. But this is something really big and has your life in jeopardy. I don't want you to fail because of me. Look this is just not going to work out. Period"

Adamant but not wanting to scare her, Jai finally answers rather gloomily, "OK fine! I'll give you TWO days of time to decide."

Bani protests: "But…Jai…"

"No buts and No Jai....two days period Bani. That's it," finalizing his decision and he leaves.

Bani is left alone standing there pondering on the questions and her thoughts and looking shocked.
