I am very happy today, in yesterday's episode Jai & Bani said the dialogue from my last FF...'Yeh Hamare pyar ki nishani hai'....yeaaahh...thanks for your comments about the last part...yeah it was small update as I wanted to finish it there...just to imprint the last line in your heart...here is today's update...Neev's birthday..
Part XXVI
. Jai takes out his coat, removes his scarf, loosens his shirt….and then climbs into the bed to put his head next to Neev's, Bani, even in her sleep encircles them with her arms and kisses their heads.

Its Neev's Birthday….both his parents are dressed in traditional Indian finenary and Neev looking a smaller version of Jai Walia with clothes matching his father's sit with them for the Puja. To Jai's surprise, Dai Ma alongwith her son and family and few members of the village were already present since morning. He got to know that Ranveer and Sahil personally drove them down, yesterday night and they stayed in the outhouse. Bani's mama & mami with Dhruv & Rano could not make it due to their exams but they will come once it is over and will stay for few days, they had called up in the morning to convey their blessings, to Jai's utter surprise he found mamiji's voice very happy and pleasing and for reasons unknown to him, thanked him again and again for taking care, not that he was paying much attention, he conveyed his thanks and handed over the phone to Bani, who was looking like a bride, quickly disconnected phone after conveying her namaste saying she will call back later.
After the Puja the younger generation took over, organizing different events amongst family members & the villagers and around 3 o'clock in the evening Nachiket and Pushkar brings a bus load of children from the one of the orphanages, sponsored by Jai to celebrate, few family friends and close relatives staying in Mumbai also came. It was utter chaos….children all over playing hide and seek, chor / police and what not, whole Walia mansion was soon taken over by them…Pushkar, Nachiket, Ranveer, Sahil and even Anu & Pia where having tough time controlling them. While Pia grumbled and Jigyasa locked herself in her room, Jai clicked away pictures, Aditya was looking funny dressed as a clown, Jai himself had a tough time with all the children climbing up and down him but he could see Bani and their son were enjoying themselves, Bani was just behaving like a child herself and had no problem in mixing, she was fighting with the children for her turn and her rights…
Pia: Bani toh aisi kud rahi hai jaisa uska apna birthday hai…
Nachiket: Tum bhi kudo na, kaun rokh raha hai tumhe….
The party goes on till 7 in the evening and when finally the children depart with their return gifts. The whole house is in a mess. The servants immediately get into cleaning the house and Bani joins them to bring some order into the mess. Neev is already tired and sleepy, he wants Bani, was holding Bani's dupatta and following her around…sone chalo….…it was nothing new and for the one month was a common sight, Bani trying hard to do away with Neev's addict till masi or daadi intervened on Neev's behalf and Bani had to give in…
Aaj se tum bare ho gaye ho, dekha nehi itne sare bachche aye…kisi ne aisa nehi kiya, aaj se tum, khudh sona sikho….
Neev: aaj nehi, kal
Bani: Woh tum roj bolte ho....she carries on with her work...
Jai was sitting with Masi and watching mother & son interaction. He was mainly a silent observer much to Bani's dismay as he never cooperated with Bani in this matter.
Masi wanted to retire for the night too, looked at Jai ….Dekh kuch toh bol Bani ko, Munna…aaj bechara thak gaya hai, uska janamdin par itna kathor na bane….
Bani hears the last part while passing,
Jai gets up, picks up Neev, Bani keya kar rahe ho, aaj ke din usko math rulao, kaisi ma ho tum…
Bani halts, turns around, takes Neev from Jai and before departing in an undertone just for Jai to hear: Aapne theek kaha Mr Walia, mai ek ajeeb ma hu….departs with Neev before Jai could say anything. Jai looks away to find Aditya watching them, though he has not heard what Bani just said but has heard whatever Jai said to her, Jai looks at him and gives a reassuring glance, Aditya leaves giving a slight nod.
Jai walks into the study and starts downloading the pictures taken today. There were so many…he wanted to go up and have a talk with Bani, but then she would now be busy with Neev getting him ready for bed and will not like any sort of disturbance..
Jai edits the pictures and makes different collages gets too immersed in his job to even notice the time, suddenly the door opens, Bani enters….
Ayo Bani, tumhara bete ka 1st birthday album almost ready hai…dekhna chahogi…
Ji abhi nehi, lekin aap jara Neev ke website pe post kar dena, Rano dekhna chahati hai, mujhe bar bar boli hai, jaldi jaldi post karne ke liye…mai yehi bolne ayi thi, aap aajhi kar dijiye ga, nehi toh meri sar kha jayegi, ek to a nehi saki…Bani turns to leave…
Jai: Ha Bani me thori der me karta hu aur Bani ek baath
Bani: Keya baath...
Jai looks into her eyes: Aaj tumne tumhara bete ka birthday bahut accha organize kiya tha. Dai ma aur unke saathi ko bulana, orphanage se bachche, bahut achha idea tha. You are a very good mother Bani aur I am sorry mujhe waise nehi bolna chahiye tha..
Bani swallows hard: Koi baath nehi, Mr Walia I understand..gives him a smile…goes out and closes the door softly.
Yes, Aditya was right thinks Jai. I have to speak to Bani, I can't just let her go. Even if she wants to leave, she will atleast know how I feel about her…..
Jai once again gets busy with editing the album, including video clippings, finally when he posts it at Neev's website, he realizes 3 hours have passed since Bani had entered the room, its already one in the night…oh god kal office hai…itna der ho gaya, he gets up stretches himself and then goes out of the study towards the stairs…hears a clicking of the main door/ foot steps ….turns to see who is returning this late.
On seeing Nachiket, he starts climbing the stairs and very casually asks…itne raat ko kaha se a rahe ho Nachiket…
