If I were in KS writing team, this is how I would have written the episode to redeem both Jai and Pia (Considering she is one of the main characters and needs to be in the show).
During all the dances and the festive mood, there would be a fire, where everybody gets out except Jai, Bani and Pia.
Jai of course saves Pia who goes in to save Bani and Jai wants them both to get out endangering himself. Before they go out, he asks Bani to save Pia and Pia's child because it's his!! He eventually comes out safe except he is hurt and bruised from the fire...
Bani will shed copious tears and think how good Pia is because she saved her and Jai deserves the baby and Pia and leaves WM sadly....
